hi.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives hi.com a medium-risk trust score on the platform: 69.2. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Known. Vetted. Low Risk.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 69.2 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to hi.com's industry. The algorithm detected a slightly lower risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, noted in the Known. Vetted. Low Risk. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying vigilant and using common sense when engaging with this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning hi.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between hi.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of hi.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of hi.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. hi.com is likely a safe website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether hi.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether hi.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, hi.com.

Tried to use the app for a year or so. Had to give up after a few weeks because nothing ever worked. So the app was left dormant. Then they pulled out of the UK. Tried endlessly to get my GBP of the platform. The customer service is useless. I don't think they ever solved one issue I had. I was unable to get my GBP off the platform despite my best efforts. Luckily it was a very small amount. However the principle annoyed me. I felt they were making obstacles that didn't exist just to get me to give up. They they just cancelled my account and I never got the money back. Be aware of this brand. Its pretty terrible and untrustworthy in my opinon.
The maximum supply of 'HI' coin is no-where mentioned in the 'HI' App.Now I understand, why the overall rating of Hi.com on Trustpilot.com and Google Play Store is so low.
Hier werden Sie betrogen....erst die dicken Gelder entgegennehmen und dann sind keine cashbackzahlungen möglich .... Stellen sie sich auf 100% verlust ein! Support reagiert auch nicht mehr auf jegliche Anfragen......Update 06.06.2023Still one week no answer from SupportStill kicked out from telegram cause simple questions and critical statementsStill no cashback from MayStill no possibility to get cashback Still ur Gold Status get lost end of year even u started in march or April Still downgrade from 8% to 1.5% cashback! The answer of hi.com here is a shame! They better should spend time to Support!!!!
The app is very user friendly with all the expected functionalities. I believe many haters are annoyed by the sharpe drop in token price and some adjustment on rules from dev : I guess it’s common in crypto and the fact that the app/fund are still here after terra/ftx means that the team is doing at lest an ok job ! Let’s hope the app is gaining market share and the token will increase at some point
When launching, they did not mention the bonus locking conditions so they could basically add arbitrary restrictions later on, which included that you cannot earn any daily bonus unless you invite people every seven days, plus they execute new restrictions to zero out all bonus who didn’t actually spend money on their coin. All these shady things were not present when they lured people to sign up. This is plain scam. Let alone the coin price plummeted from $1 to $0.04. Avoid.
Deposited fiat via IBAN and seems I won't ever gonna need my local bank (or PayPal) again after the cards are out. Too bad my PayPal throws an action impossible type of error after I try linking the GBP IBAN bank but that is a complaint for their end, just wanted to mention that I try to milk every single IBAN promotion HI reward hehe, nevertheless the EUR IBAN was linked succesfully and that's great since the current currency of my country is EUR! Can't wait for the best crypto card out there! That cashback must be gathered now that the token price is at its ATL!!!
APPLICATION SCAM MANY PEOPLE! AND WHEN YOU COMPLAIN ABOUT YOUR COMPLAINTS YOU WILL BE MUTED OR BANNED ON GROUP TG! BECAREFUL!!Please don't be fooled again by this SCAM application, this application has made a lot of people harm especially Indonesian, Indian and Bangladesh investors. Their account is blocked with no compensation or refund! They are now clearing their already ugly Name by Commenting on All Bad Reputations with the same Alibi! Bottom Line They Are Very Cunning! Be Careful!YOU ARE THE REAL SCAMMER!
They locked UK users into stakes and are now kicking them off the platform. Telling them to remove all funds by January. However they have not released stakes or funds to UK users so they can do so.Not to mention they basically lied about the benefits people staked for anyway, lost 90%+ of the initial investment value.
Scammers. Stole money from British users by removing all functionality AFTER them paying several hundreds of pounds for Gold memberships. Report them to the Financial Ombudsman and reclaim some of your staked /trapped money back. This is after they decided to reduce cashback from 8% to 1.5%, worse than legit companies like AMEX!
A promising crypto project. The community is very friendly and open. Please do your own research and read the Hi whitepaper and debit card information on the website. The support is responsive though you may have to be patient at times. Recommend joining the telegram group, lots of nice and knowledgeable people to discuss Hi and ask questions.
Great app experience for a Company just about to start. Offering virtual & physical debit cards with cashback, subscriptions and much more. Well thought out concept with much to come. Only negative is that the app might be a little complex or overwhelming for people new to crypto and there is no in-app guidance or tutorial, not everybody got the time or is willing to get into this. All in all, very good!
Slow rugpull. Took all the money, broke every deliverable promise, now exiting with the money for a brand new project. Rinse and repeat. Have a look at the track record of senior leadership and you will see the patterns.
Instead of adding a reasonable message in the app, explaining there is an error and etc, there is a message that's total non sense. And this is DEV work for 5-10 minutes, which illustrates the lack of DEV time and expertise in HI. Please share transperantly HOW MANY DEVELOPERS are actively working on this project? Looking at the quality of the product I would conclude they are not more than 5, even 3, or 2.
Update done in June and after three months, half the update is still missing, making it impossible to receive the maximum cashback . Rebate on digital subscriptions reaching 60%, instead of the 100% of what was declared...They send emails asking to give positive reviews in exchange for rewards and free tier upgrades, really ridiculous One star until they change course and do things seriously
This HI platform will make a big change in the near future.A bridge between creditcard, Iban and crypto like nothing else.Sure some poeple are complaining about the free rewards they do not get anymore, or they have been banned because of suspicius activities. But Come on there is always something to complain about. This team is doing such great work. No doubt.
Support is non-existent. Their "live chat" takes days to respond and if you don't get back quick enough, they close the chat.Community chat/managers are also terrible - anything slightly critical gets your messages deleted or worse. All of this would be fine if therre weren't so many issues to deal with, but the product just doesn't work:- charges failing- perks not being awarded- awful confusing UX in the app and just a general struggle to use
have to improve security , too many fraud account found , 3m++ user if more than half is fraud then the project is hard to go far for future , even buyer group also have 7000++ user only , what scared is 3 m user only 7-8 k normal user ? Others is ? 😨😨😨
I am really disappointed by this project. Not only have I invested lots of money and the Token is now literally worthless. Second: People who invested in good will to get the Gold Card lose all their benefits because they changed the tier system. Now you have to accumulate points instead of staking hi Token. Finally features like Google Pay still not work. I will now take my money out of this project and sell all HI Token, when HI hopefully rises again but I am not very optimistic on that.
I don't even know where to start. I have the worst KYC experience ever with hi.com. My proof of address document (a home internet invoice, which was accepted by many other companies, banks and authorities) is being rejected. It fulfills all requirements stated on the homepage but it still is not being accepted.I've requested an expalanation why it is not accepted and the only replies I get are some copy and paste text blocks from the homepage. The customer care is either not willing ar not able to help.
I’m in this project and using this App since almost 1 year now ( December 2021) and I can say that it is a really good project. They offer very attractive APY on their coin and other coins too (also on Fiat). We have multiple privileges by holding their coin and we’ll get even more when they are gonna launch the debit card.Very excited about the future of the project!!

“Fraudulent company, a total scam.”

Fraudulent company, a total scam. They raised my concerns back in July when suddenly changed their web address and emails (from.com to.io). Who would do that without a decent notice to all existing customers? Since then submitted 3 different withdrawal request without any reaction. They avoid emails and keep calling to talk you out of your decision. You can not call them back since there is not direct number to any of the brokers or better say scammers! One should be able to trust his/her broker but they betrayed my trust and now stealing my investment. Do not trust them. They are professional thieves and will not let you to withdraw your money. Stay away from them and advise others to do so. Report them to f0rensic - watchcom Tip for consumers:All not true

“You decide”

It just fine at the beginning you just have to claim by answering simple question every day, but now suddenly you have to invite new member just to claim your daily reward. Don't they think if there is no one else to invite it will force us to fake the new member just to claim the reward? Tip for consumers:Do at your own risk for all the time you spent in this app, you still need to pay/spend your real money here.

“Started Strong then got lost”

At its peak Hi was worth over $1.50 and its currently under 20 cents. Its been that level for several months and didn't rise with the market. I think the Founders have lost their way - having stated that they wanted a Billion users they changed their minds at 3Million or so members and killed the recruitment incentives, which in turn killed both mass market adoption and existing user interest. If this is meant to be another Crypto.com, why? It was meant to be something visionary and exciting - and its not clear really why they lost their way - lest hope they find it again and do something cool rather than #metoo Tip for consumers:You need to invest in 100Hi with cash and invite one new person every week - who have to invest 100 Hi. Its not expensive at the moment but it wasn't what was expected at the start Service Quality

“Do not trust this company at any cost.”

Do not trust this company at any cost. Their founder - Terrence Kwok - started another company called Tink Labs (Google them), which re-branded to Hi. Together with his accomplice Phil Yuen they ran the company into the ground breaking many laws in the process and illegally removing funds from the EU entity. They are both crooked - and wanted by the HMRC - do not trust them, let alone with your money. You've been warned. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies this service works and is trustworthy. It costs only $6.49/month but is worth the cost. U.S., UK, EU, Swiss, and Canadian residents only. Click below. button remove data online

How To Recognize Red Flags Online

How To Protect Your Online Browsing From Installing Malware

We have two more powerful fraud prevention tools that you should know about. We've been asked over and over again about the most effective ways to stay safe online. After testing several fraud prevention products online, we could certainly say the winner is a browser extension called Guardio. It automatically blocks 100x more harmful websites than competitors and 10x more malicious downloads than any other security tool. It was tested and vetted by our Scam Detector team.

Guardio has over a million users, and while it is already affordable for the benefits it provides (just a few dollars a month), it covers up to 5 family members. For Scam Detector readers exclusively, Guardio offers a 20% discount this week. How To Stop Third Parties From Tracking Your Devices

The second most powerful fraud prevention tool you should consider is Surfshark. Here is why you should get it now, as the first 5 months are free:

  1. They have an award-winning VPN service, protecting your privacy and preventing third parties from tracking your device.
  2. They will notify you when your personal info is leaked online so you can delete your private data from the Internet immediately.
  3. Surfshark has a super powerful antivirus program. It offers you effective protection from viruses and zero-day threats, a lightweight, clean, and easy-to-use app, and a 30-day money-back guarantee.
  4. Check this: They hide your online searches, which means you will get only organic search results without tracking and follow-up ads. For example, when you search for a flight, and the next time you look at the same search, the prices are higher. With Surfshark, this doesn't happen.
