Whether you are a complete beginner or a seasoned veteran guitar player there is something for you if you choose to follow the Guitar Mastery Method. You’re never too young, too old or too experienced to learn something new as a member of GMM, every genre and style of guitar playing is covered. If there were 10 stars I would give 10/10.

I’ve been a member for about 6 years now and a VIP member since that was available. This is a really great place if you want to learn either from the start or improve as an intermediate or even advanced player. The courses are really good and the community is probably the most supportive helpful and tolerant of any such online community I have experienced. Doesn’t matter how “green” your guitar skills are people will help and support you - that goes for the other. Embers and the instructors, simply first rate.

I am totally confused by all the negative ratings. I have been a member for about 3 years now and have learned and improved so much over this time. Yes it cost about 27 per month and it is well worth it if you are serious about learning to play guitar. What would it cost to take private lessons once a week? There are several courses to choose from and they are all excellent. The instructors are great and the facebook group consists of a bunch of us players wanting to learn and supporting each other in our journey. If you are serious about wanting to learn to play guitar, this is a great and enjoyable opportunity to do so.

Guitar Mastery Method has it all! Awesome video lessons that you get access to as a VIP member, the BEST online community for both regular members and VIP members, and a great team of people running the show. VIPs get to interact with all the instructors during live sessions. They also do live courses, can either be 1-on-1 or in a small group setting. Check out their courses that are part of Lead Guitar for Life. These cost extra, but are worth every penny! If you are serious about learning the guitar, this is the place for you. Yea, you can get free snippets on YouTube, from many different teachers, but GMM is the real deal and goes in-depth so not only can you play, but you understand what it is you are learning! Don’t walk, run to become a VIP member! You won’t regret it!

Guitar Mastery Method is by far the best guitar learning group/site I’ve been a member of. It provides a constant flow of new live lessons with the most amazingly knowledgeable, passionate, talented instructors who provide direct feedback. New material has been constant in the last 2 years, making it very hard to not want to play the guitar. The community is also filled with positive, like minded, influential players learning right along with you. And did I mention the immense progress I’ve made in the past few years? If you are wanting to improve quickly, GMM is the place! I am not understanding where these negative reviews are coming from, unless it is from competitors, or possibly members who didn’t put time and effort into learning. Any time I have had any questions or issues support has always promptly addressed the issue in a timely manner.

The teachers are extremely knowledgeable and take you through each lesson, unlike some where they give a brief, quick run through and then leave you floundering with pdfs of tabs. I highly recommend the master the fretboard, and guitar 101 courses before you check out all of the others available to you

This is the best guitar coaching period! The coaches the staff and the community is simply brilliant! It is nothing short of a university level learning program! I have learnt and progressed so much in 3 years that I never could imagine! If you want to learn guitar this is the place to be and it is affordable!

GMM is the best for learning online guitar. I had one-on-one guitar lessons for a year and didn't learn 3/4's of what I've learned through this site. Great community support as well!! What they teach is always explained in detail.

Maybe Take A Pass On Texas Blues MasteryTexas Blues Mastery - spent an inordinate amount of time on elementary rhythm guitar lessons that were a bit hard to follow at times. Also, requiring students to stretch their fingers over six frets was uncomfortable and counter-motivating! Lesson pace was plodding and boring. Not really worth the price of the program -- there are much better alternatives. The best Guitar Mastery Method lessons are the "free lessons" that are on YouTube already. The ones you pay for are actually worse. So, save your cash and look elsewhere if you're actually going to pay for lessons.

It’s honestly taught me a lot. Broken down and explained things in a thorough, but easy to understand manner. I’ve tried quite a few other sites, but this one has helped me along the way better than others.

This ad appeared on YouTube with some guitarist called Eddie Haddad promising an awesome learning experience. There was a “100% free” basic lesson offer, including a cheat sheet which would be emailed. After entering an email address, I was taken to another video - basically a 10 minutes heavy sales pitch to coerce you to buy the course there and then. No sign of the “free lesson” and little alarm bells started ringing. I didn’t sign up and strangely, I didn’t receive the promised cheat sheet. This is, at best, very misleading and at worse, a scam. There are lots of good people out there offering truly free lessons, so I would definitely avoid this

They don't provide anything that you can't already get for free on youtube. Very aggressive sales tactics and spamming. They are trying to take advantage of you.

Excellent, for those who REALLY want to learn and Improve...I found the free downloads, just by following the Links...I'm sorry for these bad reviews, perhaps they just expect to become A FANTASTIC guitarist overnight!... As for the comments about "Spam" emails...just click on the unsubscribe button at the bottom of the e-mail! These lessons are well prepared with the majority having downloadable PDF and Backing tracks...All the teachers are professional musicians with great pedigrees...the GMM Facebook community has over 56,000 members and help with any questions you may have..with the VIP club you get 4 live sessions per month amongst so many other bonuses. I have been a member since October 2022 and, at the age of 68, my knowledge and overall guitar-playing skills are increasing daily...thank you, Charlie, Eddie, Jeavon, and all the support team. - these are the best lessons out there.

So far so good. Signed up for 101 course and it's exactly what I'd anticipated. Everything is broken down into the basics (some of it very basic, but a lot of stuff that isn't). And then there's the exercises. There's a set of exercises to repeat every day for 30 days... So far I'm about 14 days in having done about 6 days (life gets in way) but determined to crack on. I'd definitely say it's a bit trickier than for complete novices but so far so good.

I'm an intermediate player, and have been playing about 5 years. I was really struggling with my solos and how to integrate them into the melody... and the "Rhythm & Lead" section has helped me tremendously to become more rounded. Granted, some of the courses were a getting a little grinding, but with a little perseverance and determination-- like anything else in lift, I pushed past my plateau, and I am quite grateful for this course. And compared to in-person lessons-- this is a hell of a lot more affordable, and I LOVE the fact that I can go back and watch prior lessons-- I couldn't do that with an instructor in a live setting. So this is a "5 out of 5" to me... great job, Charlie!

I enjoyed the videos on YouTube so signed up for bass lessons. I did get the free cheat sheet right away but had to cancel because I don’t play a standard bass but a U-bass. None of the lessons applied to me. However, their customer service was excellent and promptly answered my email, understanding it was not the right program for me.

I am getting spam emails 4+ times a day. They are Imposing real important emails breaking the algorithm. They have been emailing as if they are shipment order receipts in order to consistently get into my inbox. I've unsubscribed from their subscription multiple times yet I keep getting spammed!!!!

Just another marketing sales pitch. They offer free stuff then once they get your credit card details they deduct money without authorisation. Do not trust them with card details. Lots of hidden things in the way they sell. You pay the freight for a free 10 min CD. This was not even worth the half the freight costs. Like anything, time, practice and commitment will make you better at anything. You will get 10 emails everyday even when you ignore them

The 10-Week Master the Fretboard Workshop helped me learn the notes on the board after years of struggling...giving up... trying again... and giving up again. They laid everything out so easily and it really helped me make progress.
