grohe.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives grohe.com a medium-risk trust score on the platform: 69.1. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Known. Vetted. Low Risk.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 69.1 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to grohe.com's industry. The algorithm detected a slightly lower risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, noted in the Known. Vetted. Low Risk. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying vigilant and using common sense when engaging with this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning grohe.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between grohe.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of grohe.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of grohe.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. grohe.com is likely a safe website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether grohe.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether grohe.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, grohe.com.

Like the other reviewer, if I can give 0 stars, I would. Very poor customer service. My bathroom faucet started leaking. I called and the first agent I spoke to said she can warranty if I can send the receipt. I was able to find it and called back. The second agent said they will not replace and they blamed me for not maintaining the faucet. I will never buy this brand again and will tell friends and relatives to stay away. They used to have good reputation but not anymore.Customer service was extremely rude, talking over me.
Purchased a cubic kitchen faucet for my new home in 2020. A year later, spray head was not working properly so I reached out to Customer service and a replacement part was sent right away. Exactly 3 years later, same issue but when I called this time, they will not help me unless I can provide a receipt. How many people keep a receipt for years, especially on an item with a lifetime limited warranty? I feel that Grohe doesn't stand behind their warranty so why would anyone buy their product when so many other companies would. My suggestion: STAY AS FAR AWAY AS YOU CAN FROM GROHE PRODUCTS!!!!!
It used to be a good co but the worst since sold. Leaking water supply lines of theirs to their faucet. A proprietary connection to the faucet. They require a proof of purchase receipt to honor the warranty. Continuously leaking huge amounts of water. 1 week to receive parts, no urgency, no special rush. No sensitivity. Horrible company. Avoid them.
When I bought a Grohe product 14 years ago, I paid double or even tripple the price of comparable products. I did that on the basis of what I was told was a "lifetime guarantee".When I called Grohe last week because the rubber sealant rings behind the face plate had disintegrated, resulting in a huge leak through my kitchen ceiling below, I was told that a replacement part was not covered, (because there was only a "limited" warranty), and that the shower set I had purchased was no longer in production. You would think that Grohe would honour its original warranty, and continue to stock parts. Apparently not. They couldn't even provide me with the name of a supplier that would have the part.My question is, why would anybody pay WAY more than they have to for a product with what amounts to virtually no warranty whatsoever?
We all know Grohe taps are great from using them in hotels and the like. But what if you own their taps and something goes wrong? Brexit and made-in-Germany made me fear the worst. A hose started leaking in my extendable kitchen tap six years after it was installed in our new-build house - so no receipt and out of warranty. I think that the plumber had bent the hose too sharply contrary to the instructions. I emailed Grohe who posted me a replacement part free of charge three days later. What a relief!
Would give zero stars if I could! GHROE boasts of lifetime warranty all over the net. I have a leaking faucet which was installed about 12 years ago. Surely the cartridge needs replacement. Contacted GHROE customer services to meet their lifetime warranty commitment. However they refuse to honour the warranty unless I produce a receipt. Would never touch a GHROE product. Moen and Delta offer true lifetime warranty and send required parts promptly - no questions asked.
I needed a simple Grohe kitchen faucet replacement hose after mine cracked a leaked badly. I was able to establish a case file with customer service with photos etc; but after an additional phone call and three more email communications…still no hose. Not sure what is wrong with these people. I ended up figuring out which hose I actually needed and purchased it online even though it was covered under warranty.
Warranty/Guarantee is a waste. If you have a faulty tap messing your house up are you gonna wait 48 hours then an additional 5 days for then, Grohe to send out a third party that they pay to determine if product faulty or installation and then charge you £120 if they feel it's not the product. If so, go ahead but not for me. Bought Bristan instead now and bath filler tap being installed tomorrow.
Non-existent customer service. They're not the cheapest so you'd think they'd have decent customer service. Forget it. They simply don't respond.Happy to take your money and nothing else.
Patience! After initial disappointment with online services, I called Grohe Customer Service and was connected to Brian from Ohio. He understood that replacing cartridges for an older version of the Grohe Bridge Faucet required loosening the handle connections with warm air from a blow dryer, unscrewing the top portions to expose the old cartridges, and then from there it was a snap. He was patient, funny, encouraging every step of the way. If I can do it, anyone can with a little help from a Grohe pro. The leak stopped immediately. My beautiful Bridge Faucet is once again functioning as it should.Corinne, from Virginia
We bought the Minta Touch for our new kitchen. Complete failure. Our plumbers had trouble installing it, very complicated. Then the water flow was unpredictable ... on or off. We disconnected the electricity for the 'touch' feature and now the water flow is minimal. Complete waste of money.
I will never buy this brand gain. The spray head of the kitchen faucet is broken because they're selling super expansive, dysfunctional crap. I repaired it last year with a replacement head but it's not available anymore.
Terrible experience. I will never buy grohe products. Leaking shower head and body spray on a new house that's less than 5 years old. Been over a year and they still haven't fixed it. Terrible customer service as well.
Had a leaking tap still in the guarantee period. About 4 weeks after first contacting them about it, they said they’d send a new tap out to me which was supposed to arrive by the end of April and I’m still waiting! Their customer service is abysmal 😡
I would strongly recommend people not to buy their products. Their customer service on warranty parts replacements is terrible. You will have serious problems in receiving parts on time from them and you might have to shut down the main water line of your house for days. They always promise that they will ship the part on time/overnight. But when you receive an email after a few days, it would say a couple of days. They know how to make customers suffer.
I have an $1800 grohe kitchen facet. The finish is peeling off the base of one of the handles. I phoned customer service and sent a picture. They said there is nothing they can do because the model has been discontinued and I can't get a receipt from my designer who installed the facet 10 years ago. It has a lifetime warranty and it is a Grohe faucet. I don't understand why I need a receipt.
I recently bought a LadyLux faucet from my local plumbing supply store. It looks great and was easy to install. Alas, it leaked! That's a bummer. However, I called Grohe directly and they immediately sent me the replacement part and it works great now. So I have subtracted a star for that initial quality issue, but their customer support was all over it and made it right, quickly.
We have installed Grohe Eurocube plumbing fixtures in 7 bathrooms since 2012. In addition to the clean design, fine quality of fit, finish, and enduring performance, we are delighted w/the helpful customer service interaction. We have also found that the knowledge and skills of the plumbers we have used, has a big impact. We have had to replace 2 plumbers at different times, during the installation process. Those who are accustomed to only working w/products like Moehn, Pfister, Koehler, etc. usually do not have the eye and attention to detail, the fine motor skills and knowledge, to do the Grohe product justice. It is sort of like having your Porsche serviced at the local garage. Grohe products are justifiably expensive, but more than worth the cost. So if you spend the money for the product, spend the money to hire a knowledgeable master plumber, if you want to enjoy the looks and performance of your fixtures.
We installed 2 Grohe faucets (Sommerset) in our master bath about 9 or 10 years ago. Two years ago or so, the oil rubbed bronze finish began peeling off. Today they look terrible. I tried contacting their customer service and sent pictures but got no response. I purchased Grohe because I thought they made a quality product, but these faucets are a mess. No more Grohe products for me.
Will never buy any of their products again. Easy to install but impossible to repair. Shower control handles will not come off to get to the inner parts that are now not working. Shameless and sad.

“Sick and tired of the repair calls.”

As a contractor, I'm sick and tired of the Grohe repair calls. I used to be able to get help and parts from their warranty people. NOT ANYMORE. I don't get the repair calls from other products like this. Do yourself a favor and don't buy a Grohe product. Please note, a Hans Grohe product is top of the line. I will never again install a Grohe product for anyone.

“Their "Lifetime Warranty" is a JOKE!”

When we built our home 13 years ago, my wife wanted Grohe faucets in the Master Bath. 13 years later they are all leaking and when I went to their website to file a warranty claim, I discovered that they MAKE IT IMPOSSIBLE to file a claim. They want the exact date it was purchased, the exact date it was installed, the model number, the SERIAL NUMBER, who installed it, etc. Good Grief! I don't still have that information from 13 years ago. Even if I did, to enter dates you have to click on a month by month calendar, to get back to 2009 I'd have to click it 156 times for both the date purchased and the date installed. THEY MAKE IT IMPOSSIBLE TO FILE A CLAIM. So much for a "Lifetime Warranty." I'll never buy or recommend a Grohe product again. Tip for consumers:Don't pay extra for a "Lifetime Warranty" when the company will not stand behind it. Products used:Grohe faucet for Master Bath Service Value Returns Quality

“Grohe Touchless Model 30-205-DC1”

We were updating our kitchen and wanted a touchless faucet. This Grohe model was sleek and not as big as most of the ones we saw. It was a little pricey, $650.00, but we thought it was worth it. Wrong. During the LENGTHY installation process, our plumber could not get the water to come out more than a small dribble. It was their flow restrictor. Really? That was normal? After talking to Grohe customer service, they said they had another flow restrictor we could use and would be glad to mail it. Again, really? Once the faucet was working, it dripped constantly, then flowed constantly and came on without being touched and wouldn't come on no matter where you touched it! AND unlike Delta, you can not turn it off! The touch feature is always active. If it comes on while you aren't there it could flood your home.We finally took out the batteries. Called customer service. Sounds like to them we need some more parts. It took the plumber 4 or 5 hours to install this crazy thing and they want us to pay him more money to figure out what is wrong with their brand new product?! Not happening. Of course, he said, we could always take it back (this makes the return the problem of the plumbing supply place where we purchased it). We took it back. Do not buy anything from this company because customer service was not concerned at all that their product was substandard.

“.”

I have been waiting 18 days for part yet to materialise. A warranty claim and as such a dreadful customer service experience
