Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies this service works and is trustworthy. It costs only $6.49/month but is worth the cost. U.S., UK, EU, Swiss, and Canadian residents only. Click below.

If you own, we would love to hear from you. However, if you would like to challenge this review and trust score, we are more than willing to take a deeper look, but be prepared to offer solid proof of your business. Please introduce yourself first (your name, not "Admin"). Consumers are smart. Typically, they don't trust websites that don't show transparency, such as the location of the business, team, or any other physical existence.

When domain owners contact us to challenge the trust score of their website on our website Validator, we would kindly ask them to share some of the following things:
* Details from their ecosystem that would show that they are 100% trustworthy (certificate of incorporation, business registration, official records showing the name of the website or business, etc.).
* Their personal profile on LinkedIn and social media accounts for the business on Facebook.
* If possible, some screenshots/proof of satisfied clients (not testimonials on their website), proof of inventory, canceling orders when requested, etc.).

We are more than willing to update the review right away—the more proof you show, the higher the trust score will be.

I have always understood that mosquitos are attracted by the CO2 produced by mammals. I am not getting sucked in by this garbage.

  2. PLEASE folks – don’t ever buy anything that a famous person is supposedly involved with until you search high and low for actual news stories or the like to back up the connection… One has to operate as a detective when dealing with anything one finds on the internet…

  3. Cindi Vankirk

I live in Florida where there are numerous mosquitoes. I bought the three pack of this device and put them in different places in the house and so far it has yet to collect one mosquito. Upon looking again at the photos of Elon musk with a device it is clearly photo shopped because the actual device is much smaller than what is shown in the photos which leads me to believe that Elon Musk had nothing to do with this and it’s a total scam!!

  4. This is a big waste of money’s purchase 5 thinking it might be worth it, WRONG, The mosquitos were all around it not a single mosquito even came close, Don’t waste your money on this scam. Did not refund my money. SCAM, SCAM, SCAM.

  5. Mosquito’s love me so I bought it.
A complete scam. Basically just a light
Had it out on a mosquito infested evening for several hours
Not one single mosquito was captured
The gave me a full refund and didn’t even want the product back as it’s a piece of junk and they know it

  6. Going to the Learn More button on the FB ad took me to the place where they recommended buying the product, only the entire top line of the webpage shows Consumer Reports log, even, Sign In, and Donate. Consumer Reports does not sell items. Red flag one for me, each of those hot buttons took me to a page to buy the product, instead of taking me to sign in to Consumer Reports. Red flag number 2. That pointed me in the direction of doing a Google search which led me here. The mosquitoes will be happy they get to live another day.

  7. Rebranding of the Buzz B-Gone from a couple years ago. Based out of Hong Kong, same company, main site check under contact us and it’s all there. Same exact product, different plastic outer cover. Can find it and better reviews on Amazon. Seems like it’s designed for night time tent sized area. Over priced night light.

  8. I was hoping this was legit, but everything around the company’s website and reviews seems too tidy. Also, the grainy “as seen of Forbes, etc” text triggered my skepticism. Does anyone know of a good mosquito killing product?

  9. I got suckered into the a video ad and got curious and looked to see if any of the “inventor” story was true or verifiable. What I found was ads and carpet bombing of fake reviews.

  10. Allen Rodriguez

Mosquitoes aren’t attracted to the light. Mosquitoes are actually drawn to you by the carbon dioxide that you exhale. They’re also attracted to darker color clothing.

    1. Nice try Allen. But nope! They are attracted by all of their senses. They can be attracted by CO2. they can be attracted by BO. They can be attracted by sewage. They can be attracted by the smell of blood (a favorite). They can be attracted by the smell of sugar or something sweet (had many dead mosquitoes in my brew pot while I was brewing beer). They are very curious. They hear sounds in the distance and they will come to investigate. If they see something large moving they will come to investigate to see if maybe it has some blood to suck. They’re attracted by the sound of running water or splashing water. I often have mosquitoes attack me while pouring gasoline into my generator. Don’t know why they are attracted to the smell of gasoline, but they are. So let’s recap: they are attracted by sight, sound, and smell. If they could lick you they would be attracted by that too. Another thing, I have never known them to have a favorite color, I think ANY color will do.
