forex.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives forex.com one of the higher trust scores on the platform: 82.3. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Reliable. Legitimate. Secure.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same results. So, why this score? We came up with the 82.3 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to forex.com's industry. The algorithm detected little high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, as noted in the Reliable. Legitimate. Secure. tags above. Long story short, we deem this a reliable and secure website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning forex.com, let's look closer at the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between forex.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of forex.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of forex.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. forex.com is an innocuous website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether forex.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether forex.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, forex.com.

Vincet was very helpful. I am glad that I was helped by him. As all other representatives just share the link and doesn't bother to explain. But Vincet explained me every single thing patiently.Thank you so much for helping

They will also do proper research to resolve any valid issues you may have. If the 1st person is not knowledgeable enough please ask for a manager.
I COULDN'T RECEIVE BETTER CUTOMER SERVICE FROM JUAN, HE SHOWED PRETTY GOOD KNOWLEDGE, ABOUT FOREX PLATFORMS, GIVING ME IMPORTANT TIPS ABOUT IT, IN A WAY TO MAKE YOU FEEL CONFIDENT WITH FOREX.COM!!KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK JUAN !!
Marcus was fast with his replies and knew exactly what my issue was. He helped me resolve it very effortlessly and it really felt like all I had to do was sit back and let him work. Outstanding service.
The representative was patient (it took me a while to get the picture uploaded from my phone to the computer, where I was chatting) and helped me figure out which of my Forex.com account numbers my MT4 account was connected to.
The instant response from Forex helped me to have more confidence in doing business on the Forex Yrading Platform!
Stephanie is very proactive ,polite, professional, in fixing problems. I really appreciate her help. So grateful once more Stephanie.
They dont accept virtual Credit Cards a.k.a they steal your money for 8 days so they can make dividend. Im never again using their service 1/100.
I have contacted customer support multiple times regarding an EA that was not functioning as designed or intended. Each support staff was courteous and listened as well as let me know the next appropriate action to take, and what may happen if I am not able to get the EA functioning appropriately. It appears that they want me to have a good experience yet protecting the FOREX service for both me and other. Thanks guys!
Really good broker and really helpful support team active 24 hours a day so you never need to struggle
Great being able to get to someone to chat with without having to go through a bunch of AI prompts. Have not had to wait more than couple minutes. And the support people are excellent at their job.
Waste of time, their UI is horrible and a pain for a beginner like myself. Tried to download their web and metatrader4 platform so I can experiment with forex before depositing funds to the account for live trades. It kept bringing up a pop up when I try to log on a web browser. Tried different browsers (Safari, Edge and chrome). Cleared cache and enabled pop up, still same issue. Called their customer service, who directed me to email, email told me to go back and call. Email also telling me to do the things I already wrote that I had done already (and I sent screen shot of the pop up), use a different device ( I used mobile and PC) different browser, different device. Unable to resolve issue and a complete waste of time. Spoke to a few friends who have now told me, they don't recommend them and to try IC markets instead. Update:A few mins after writing this review, went on the IC Market web page and thought it would be another daunting task, signing up with them. At first you get a scary message saying they are not regulated by FCA, the UK regulator. I researched and found out they are regulated in other countries and their review score is better on trust pilot. Registering with them has been a breeze. They send a good email with instructions on how to link your account to Metatrader too. Update:I was contacted by forex.com. The staff tried his best to help me and promised to escalate. I don't know if they will be able to resolve it. However am pleased that they at least tried and was courteous, so changed the score. Maybe this is just a glitch, I hope others don't experience this. I may not be able to use the web browser to access their platform but can access it as an app on my phone.
As of right now, I have been loving working with FOREX.COM, they have been accurate, amazing at answering any questions I have, regardless of how small they may be.I would recommend them just because of the customer service!!!
Charles is very knowledgeable an extremely patient. He took 45 minutes out of his day to help me navigate the Forex.com website to help ensure my investment success, and it was greatly appreciated. Thanks again.
Nicolas S. was my representative and exampled excellent customer service. I experienced patience, a commitment to resolve my issue, a pleasant experience. I was getting frustrated with my emails and Nicolas willingness to support e in gaining a solution was the reason i was able to receive and send the necessary documents to move forward.. Wonderful experience

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.

How To Protect Your Online Browsing From Installing Malware

We have two more powerful fraud prevention tools that you should know about. We've been asked over and over again about the most effective ways to stay safe online. After testing several fraud prevention products online, we could certainly say the winner is a browser extension called Guardio. It automatically blocks 100x more harmful websites than competitors and 10x more malicious downloads than any other security tool. It was tested and vetted by our Scam Detector team.

Guardio has over a million users, and while it is already affordable for the benefits it provides (just a few dollars a month), it covers up to 5 family members. For Scam Detector readers exclusively, Guardio offers a 20% discount this week. How To Stop Third Parties From Tracking Your Devices

The second most powerful fraud prevention tool you should consider is Surfshark. Here is why you should get it now, as the first 5 months are free:

  1. They have an award-winning VPN service, protecting your privacy and preventing third parties from tracking your device.
  2. They will notify you when your personal info is leaked online so you can delete your private data from the Internet immediately.
  3. Surfshark has a super powerful antivirus program. It offers you effective protection from viruses and zero-day threats, a lightweight, clean, and easy-to-use app, and a 30-day money-back guarantee.
  4. Check this: They hide your online searches, which means you will get only organic search results without tracking and follow-up ads. For example, when you search for a flight, and the next time you look at the same search, the prices are higher. With Surfshark, this doesn't happen.
