ford.com Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives ford.com one of the higher trust scores on the platform: 87.8. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same results. So, why this score? We came up with the 87.8 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to ford.com's industry. The algorithm detected little high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, as noted in the Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure. tags above. Long story short, we deem this a secure website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning ford.com, let's look closer at the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between ford.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of ford.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of ford.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. ford.com is an authentic, safe website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether ford.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether ford.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, ford.com.

Someone should create a program for vehicles that cause the windows to automatically lower at the detection of a wreck. My car has all kinds of sounds and lights when it thinks a wreck is going to happen so it shouldnt be hard to create and it would be no trouble to roll them back up if it's a false alarm. I think it could potentially save many lives.
My 2017 Ford Explorer has only 56k miles on it and we’ve just been told by our local dealership that we have 9,000 dollars of repairs needed. The vehicle has a failed torque converter, which is something that typically happens with cars with very high mileage. We have found multiple open customer programs/technical service bulletins that highlight this issue, however, were being told by Ford that our car doesn’t qualify. What gives?? Is the product really this bad? We have only ever bought Fords. Ford is telling us they cannot help at all. So disappointing.
I have sent two letters, one registered, have never heard back. I have a 2018 Ford Escape that required a new transmission at 52000kms. According to the trans place it is a common occurrence for that year of Escape. I was never once told to get my transmission checked after I went through all 5 years of paid for warrantee checks when I drove the car off the lot. I am most disgusted by the fact that they don't even answer me, and feel there should have been a recall on these vehicles. I got a rebuilt tranny put i..for $5400.00 Sucks to me.
I have extremely disappointing experience with the plug in hybrid Ford escape 2024 and the Ford customer service in Canada. I’m leasing the car since February, so far it had been twice in the shop for repairs . The first time there was inconsistency with the electric battery the second time in June my car was towed because I couldn’t steer the wheel. It has faulty wheel bearing. This is very serious problem and is a serious threat to my life. This happened in a weekend and I didn’t have a car for two days. The Ford has to reimburse me for two days for not having a vehicle and they don’t want to do it. They promised an incentive but apparently I’m not getting it anymore. I have been leasing from VW for over a decade prior to the Ford and never had any problems with the vw cars in the past.In short as comparison the USA designed and manufactured ford can’t beat the excellence of European cars. The Ford customer service is incompetent and horrible. The Campbell Ford dealership are very helpful and good with providing services it is the Ford Canada that does a horrible job.
Ford Focus Estate 2020 UKNo longer a company worth even phoning.Constantly lied to me for 2 months leading me to believe they would pay for repairs to the vehicle that their stupidity caused. Long story of course!
If I could give a zero I would. First of all, there is no good way to contact corporate customer service. I have a 2017 Ford Escape, 73,000 miles on it and even though there's a technical bulletin out on my engine issue (19-2208) Ford is refusing to pay for a new engine (they said my car is too old - again 7 years old with 73,000 miles) because of their manufacturing defect. I have the exact same car model, year, cracked cylinder that let coolant intrude into my engine and I'm told I have to pay $10,000 for a new engine. I have been a loyal Ford customer for many years but I will never buy a Ford vehicle again. Hopefully, by the time this is all said and done, Ford will be out more than $10,000 when I get an attorney involved. I am also making sure that all my social media accounts take note of this poor customer service . . .
I just bought a 2024 Ford F350 four-wheel-drive after 400 miles AC went out rear lights went out electronic problems. They told me that they can’t find any air air conditioning compressors. My business is suffering. Nothing they could do for me. I bought it less than a week ago for almost $100,000.
WARNING!!!! If you purchase a new Ford vehicle with a prepaid BlueCruise subscription, you will NOT receive a refund for unused time. For example if your vehicle is damaged at a loss, you sell the vehicle, your turn the leased vehicle in, before your BlueCruise subscription is expired, you won’t receive any refund. Don’t bother with calling Ford Customer Relations for a solution. You are better off dealing with the dealer you purchased the vehicle, as if that’s a real solution. Ford doesn’t care about existing customers or retaining customers as is seen by their JD Power results, Consumer Reports, and NHTSA recalls. They have a major quality control issue which makes things worse for existing customers. This is particularly true for EV owners.
DO NOT BUY FORD. Ordered a truck in February 2022 and received it in October 2022. Have had it less than 2 years it has had 4 recalls and is in the shop for possible bad transmission and Air Conditioner not working.. been there a week and they haven’t even looked at it yet said they don’t have enough people now say it may be another couple weeks or more before it is looked at. In the meantime I’m still making payments. Quality is awful and service is awful.
If I could give less than one star I absolutely would. This has been the worst experience of my adult life. I bought a 2023 Bronco Sport, the first time it was towed was a week after purchase and the most recent tow was on the DAY of the one-year anniversary. Ford drove probably 2500km of my warrantied km trying to diagnose the problem. 5 tows total. Currently has been in the shop 3 weeks, I have no transportation to work as I CONTINUE to pay all my payments to Ford Credit AND they won't even contact me despite my daily attempts to speak to someone who doesn't just say " we are going to restore my faith in the Ford Brand with incentives " and then not call me back. I feel UNSAFE in that vehicle and Ford Canada DOES NOT CARE.
My daughter purchased a used 2018 Focus in 2019 or 2020. It had higher miles but checked out okay and seemed to run well at the time. In January of 2022 while out of town, the car stopped shifting and had to be towed 200 miles to a Ford dealer. It was diagnosed with a clutch failure of the internal automatic transmission. They replaced the clutch assembly & the clutch lever assembly and $1500 later we were out the door. 29 months later, (just after the parts and repairs were out of warranty), we again have the car in the Ford service shop for a transmission failure. And again, they need to order and replace the clutch assembly and the clutch lever assembly. This time it will cost us $3400 to repair and replace. After the car was in the shop the first time, I found multiple reviews of Ford focus transmissions having this issue, yet no recall or offer to help from Ford.It seems that this is a situation where a car was manufactured and sold with an intrinsically faulty design, leading to multiple required repair and replace visits to the Ford Service department, and each instance providing a profit for Ford. What a way to make money!!!! My husband and I have had multiple Fords over the years but after this debacle, we will NEVER purchase another Ford product.
Stop trying to dictate the vehicle by locking the computers after the person pays off the vehicle its there's. And as the ownershould be able to do what they want with the vehicle and you should have no control over there computer of the vehicle for any changes they want to make that is Like a dictator to someone life. Everybody need a vehicle for transportation. So do not sell someone something but you can control it that's wrong and greedy like a dictator you should not be able to control all vehicle after someone has bought the vehicle and they own it at that point not you.
My dad had a Ford in the 90s and it was a great car until it started having automatic transmission problems. forward 25 years later and I thought "they cant still be having the same problem after so long" well I was wrong. what really surprised me was how little they care about their warranty.
This is a very long story we started back on 12/1/24 when the car was towed into Ford dealership at Newstead for a transmission fix (on the warranty and a well known problem with this type of Fiesta) the car was in repair for approximately 3 weeks after I chased up the car due to no courtesy car being offered we finally got the car backAfter the second time of driving the car was doing exactly the same issue another tow needed this time costing $250The car went back to the repair garage at ford Newstead this time I asked for a courtesy car and was granted oneI made it my business to call every two weeks to chase up the progress of the carOn the 19/6 out of the blue I received a text saying “your car is ready to collect please collect asap -I went in to collect the car only to be told “that text shouldn’t of been sent out we haven’t even looked at the car yet?On 6/6/24 some five months later with no call backs and being told over and over again “the service manager will call you back” I didn’t get a call back I contacted Ford head office complaints department a few days later someone emailed me to say “she couldn’t call me as she had no voice” but she would “look into It” after six emails telling me “we’re trying to sort this out for you” last one received 24/6 I was still no further forward? On 16/7 I received a call to say it’s not the transmission it’s a spark plug problem and it would cost between $2500 and $3500 to fixWhen I explained the history he said (Don the 2ic) said to be honest we’re cleaning up a mess here we're all brand new and quite frankly we didn’t even know your car was here? We’re just working through the issuesI was left exasperated after almost 7 months to be told it would cost a serious amount of money regarding a problem that I hadn’t even heard about the whole time? he then told me “the cars probably not even worth it” you’d get more for scrapReally? To ford I’m obviously nothing at all I’m not even worth a follow up call in over 6 months ..Will I ever buy Ford again No Way! Will I tell everyone about my disgusting service? Yes I willPeople have told me to write to the motor vehicle ombudsman for some help which I am going to doI’m hoping that my review will help to educate others who may be considering to use or buying from this dealership “Ford dealership at Newstead” my advice Don’t!It’s not even worth a 1 star it’s simply disappointing and unacceptable service a very sad and unhappy customer
I would suggest to anyone buying a ford to say NO to their extended warranty. After 3 years my front camera's are gone, my battery has died. 500 dollars to replace a battery. Oh and I'm still paying for this bogus warranty, not sure what it's for.
My husband bought a brand new 2024 F350 . He only had it a week with 120 miles on it, and the ac compressor went. Ford knew about this issue but was not prepared. Since there are so many trucks with this issue the compressors are on back order for a month. In the middle of summer. You pay a pretty penny for these trucks and get this
I am struggling to write this as I am so angry in so many ways! To get to the point - A little while ago I bought a new Ford Puma ST, unfortunately the car broke down almost straight away (more than once) and developed faults. The car was returned to Ford Credit who compensated me, took back ownership of the car and resolved my complaint. Then a little while later I receive a notice of sums in arrears! Are you joking me! I could go into all the issues I faced with dealership, Ford Credit and resolution team but instead I hope that this post and my emails prompt Ford to finally sort this out, leave me alone and never contact me again. Ford did have a good reputation - WOW, where had that gone! Never again - so stressful. My next step should this not be resolved very Swifty is legal action.
I bought a leftover 2023 Ford Explorer ST on March 16, 2024. The car was a new demo with around 1,300 miles from Pennsylvania. Three months later, I discovered an oil leak, as there was dripping oil all over my driveway. I went to the Woodbridge Ford service center as I live in Woodbridge, New Jersey, and it was the service center closest to me. I provided all the details about the car and the leak. They claimed they had never seen an oil leak on a car with only 3,000 miles. Despite the car having a full warranty, they insisted I pay $199 for diagnostics and for any repairs if it wasn't a manufacturing defect. They also accused the Pennsylvania dealer of making a mistake or that I had done the damage to the car. The staff, which was only one male and one female worker, were incredibly rude and unprofessional. They told me they were a "privately owned" ford dealer so my warranty had meant nothing to them. I expected better customer service from a large company like Ford. When I refused to pay because the car was under complete warranty and only three months old, they refused to touch the car and handed me my keys, telling me to leave immediately. I then contacted the Pennsylvania dealer, who told me to bring the car to them. They found that the issue was indeed a manufacturing defect and fixed up my car immediately free of charge. My experience with the Woodbridge dealership was highly disappointing. They don't care about any sort of warranty you may have, just about getting your money. Their customer service is non-existent at this point. Avoid this place at all costs
Well, the worst nightmare of customer service by ukcrc1atford.com ever experienced. 3 months of wrangling with Ford about my Ford Focus Estate Automatic 2020 model ever experienced. My car broke down, it could not be moved. From there the nightmare went on and on for 3 months at a total cost to me of £3500. Ford you have been witnessed. The nightmare goes on!
I own a F-150 a Mustang and Lincoln MKZ. I've had great luck with our Fords, thankfully! Our F 150 is a brute and tows wonderfully. The Mustang has been very reliable and the Lincoln has 70,000 miles of comfort and dependability. I've owned garbage, but I've not been let down with my Fords.

“Classy looks, excellent cars, latest features and technology included”
They have recently launched excellent cars. I really liked their brand new collections. Ford always provides premium quality vehicles. Great Engine Displacement and Comfortable seating. Also, having latest features and technology included. Classy looks.
“Not satisfied with the service!”
We have had a Ford in the family for almost 30 years. We haven't bought any other car nor driven one, but Ford is not what it used to be. The Ford store at Orange City disappointed me. The service was terrible, literally! They didn't care at all about my needs and my questions. As an old Ford driver I am really disappointed. Tip for consumers:The management should improve the working process! Products used:Asked for a service Service Value Returns Quality

“Bad car”
I have had my 2006 Ford Freestyle for 3 1/2 yrs now. It started out being a good car & I really liked it. But a yr ago I started having transmission problems. My bf who is a mechanic looked the car up online at the reviews. OMG the reviews on that car were not good. I was having the same problem these other ppl were. I signed a petition. If there is enough ppl to sign it this lawyer was going to do something but nothing ever became of it. Now I am wanting to get rid of the car because I am so upset with it. When its winter or very cold I have to let the car warm up an 1 1/2 before it will move. I have never had a car with such bad gas mpg. What they want for transmissions I am better off getting rid of the car. Now the only thing its good for is parts.
“Awesome site from a very reliable car company”
Awesome site from a very reliable car company. I'm just a car fan and like to see what's new with the brand and what technology they are including in the new models. One really cool feature i like is the "Build & Price" button on the upper right of any vehicle's home page. You can choose any model from Ford to customize with your options. All you have to do is select "Build Your Own", enter your area code (to view dealers in your area), and then select what trim you would like of that vehicle. You can choose to add a moon roof, sports package, different wheels... ALL interactive and you can see all the changes you select, pretty cool!
“Cool!”
I recently brought the car for inspection and I liked the performance of these services. From the beginning to the end, specialists were always called when any problems were detected! Therefore, I recommend you can easily apply here!
“Still driving my dad's Ford!”
My dad have a Ford Escort '98. I still love to drive it more then my car(I have Chevrolet now). I like that "old" feeling when I am driving it and I feel like I am some kind of old-school diplomat(the car is like brand-new never mind the fact that is more then 20 years old). It is dark blue.
“Ford forever!”
My dad still has a Ford Escort '97 and he is 80 years old and he is still driving it sometimes. Well it is sun burned on the roof, but the engine is still good. I am going to repaint it this summer, so I will drive it aswell!
“Good old Ford Escort '98!”
I have an old Ford Escort '98 and man I love that car. I've been taking good care of it, repainting it, and making it custom. Too bad I don't have a picture to share it at the moment, but I will share it for sure. I love the sound of that engine too much! Tip for consumers:I have a Ford Escort '98 and I'm very satisfied with it! Service Value Quality
“Mostly made in mexico”
Claims to never have been bailed out, except has a contract with government for vehicles lol sound like a bail out to me, keep uo with Mexican parts and aluminum bodys and ten different engines in ten years. Ole henrys flipping in his grave I guarantee it
“2002 windstar minivan”
I bought a used ford windstar about a year and a half ago. Found out it had a recall on it because the rear axle was braking on them. What was happening is they were rusting from the inside out. Their fix was a bracket to hold the axle in place. Then they had a Second recall on them to make sure the bracket was placed properly. It does not fix the problem, eventually the bracket also rusts out where the axle breaks because it rusts and corrodes from the inside out. It cost over $******* to fix yourself. Ford does not claim responsibility they say as long as the bracket was placed correctly it does not go under recall. If anyone else is having or has had this problem you can email the NHTSA at nhtsa.gov or call them *******236. I would hate to find out that someone else thinks their vehicle safe because they have the brackets only to find out that they have also rusted through and corroded causing an accident.
“2 weeks without my car, and no dead line to have a solution”
2 weeks already without my Ford expedition, transmission problem, on warranty and they don't give me a car! No dead line? No car! How will I work? Unacceptable! Products used:Ford expedition Service Value Shipping Quality
“Ford sucks!”
Four transmission rebuilds by 77,000 miles. Ford knew about these failures and chose not to recall. Horrible customer service, horrible dealership network, horrible vehicle they produced. Ford sucks!
“•”
Thieves! They almost scammed me of my Last penny but I found help with my title review if You need help to get your lost money back. They are truly reliable
“Atrocious Customer Service”
I have contacted numerous officials in Ford's corporate structure, to address the spark plug issue in my 2006 Mustang GT. Of the many letters I sent, I only received one response. It a knowledge receipt, but offered no solutions. Ford sold vehicles with a 2 part spark plug that is prone to breakage when you try to remove it. Part of the spark plug remains in the engine head. This is a well documented design issue, and ford has been sued for it. The Ford dealer quoted me $525 to change my spark plugs, and an additional $120 to remove any plug that breaks. I am looking at a potential charge of $1,485 to change 8 spark plugs. The cost of the Motorcraft sparks is less than $25 total at my local auto parts store. This issue is atrocious. Talk about corporate irresponsibility! Ford should be ashamed of themselves. Beware of this company. Prior to purchasing my current Ford, I purchased a 2007 Mustang. I had to have the automatic transmission rebuilt 3 times. It was the the SR555 model, I believe. It's been so long that I have problems recalling the model number. Ford really should have done better with their quality control. Buyers like me have to spend lots of money because of it. Service Quality
“Bad and good things about ford”
Ford engines don't last as long like cars and they have to be fixed a lot. But fords a are very nice inside like the Ford Edge but they are good cars. And there trucks are amazing. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“Shipping's”
Ered a 2022 f450 limited, truck was built and now it's sitting in the parking lot at Kentucky for 4 months not being shipped for no reason, FORD YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOUR SELFS FOR NOT SHIPPING MY TRUCK For 4 Months, after waiting 14 months for you to build it which I understand but not shipping that I can not accept,I have a big company with 40 ram trucks wanted to switch to ford but that's not going to happen.
“Ford Ecosport”
To have a bad car means to have Ford Ecosport, I bought a Ford car because the brand is famous and I thought it would be good, but, unfortunately, I encountered several problems, starting with the problem of the door lock that broke immediately, so I replaced three of them, and it was expensive because the spare parts from Ford are very expensive, after many years, they said In the agency that this is a factory error and they replace the locks of all the doors, and of course they did not pay us the money instead of the locks that we replaced ourselves before, and now I am facing a problem with the gear shift, when I tried to ask about it, they told me in the garage that they had fixed this type of malfunction in Several Ford EcoSports, which means the problem is also from the factory, and now I'm out of warranty time and they don't respond to requests like this... Be careful not to buy a Ford EcoSport, it sucks. Tip for consumers:I wish you could protect your reputation by giving good quality, and good service, to match your Brand name. Products used:Ford EcoSport Service Value Returns Quality
“End lease charges”

“My first love...”
Was with a Ford Taurus. I must say, these cars are the best. They are easy to fix and easy to take care of. Always buy home made vehicles.
“Im a Ford Truck MAN!”
All other trucks can get lost I've driven a ford since 16 and never will change! All you Chevy people need to switch over to a real truck!
“The absolute WORST company in the world selling FAULTY DPS6 trasmission cars! Shame on Ford!”
Ford and Ford Australia should be DEEPLY ASHAMED for selling faulty cars that have MAJOR SAFETY ISSUES - fords that were fitted with DPS6 transmissions are FAULTY AND UNSAFE CARS! As someone who supported and loved Ford cars for over 20 years, I am disgusted that the Ford Fiesta Trend 2015 was (and still is) an incredibly unsafe car that SHAKES, JERKS AND SHUDDERS while driving, and it's especially noticeable when you press down on the accelerator, and on highways with speeds over 80km/h. The very thought that Ford was aware of the safety and sold me unsafe car anyway makes me feel disgusted with them. People that have sold these cards should be put in jail, and the company should be heavily fined with all the cars recalled immediately - and full compensation for people affected provided PLUS compensation for the stress we endured as a result of driving this car, including all of the stress we are suffering due to current trial in Australia. SHAME ON YOU FORD! Do not buy their cars - they prioritize money over people's lives!
“Rust buckets”
I have had 2 ford pu both had severe rusting at all 4 wells, tailgates at the bottom, and the I frames where the bed bolts to the frame
“Reliable”
Had my Ford Fiesta for 3 years, realiable. Comfy, never anything gone wrong with it, great customer service
“The best truck site in the US”

Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies this service works and is trustworthy. It costs only $6.49/month but is worth the cost. U.S., UK, EU, Swiss, and Canadian residents only. Click below.

How To Stop Third Parties From Tracking Your Devices
The second most powerful fraud prevention tool you should consider is Surfshark. Here is why you should get it now, as the first 5 months are free:
- They have an award-winning VPN service, protecting your privacy and preventing third parties from tracking your device.
