Is foap.com Legit?

Who doesn't use foap because when I use it, I have an account with money in it, so it says forget password, it doesn't respond, even if I try to open an account, it says invalid credentials. I have confirmed my account but still can not log. I can't login to the app

I found this site from an internet link and thought I would try it. It seems they are having serious issues as it took many tries to create an account. Most of the time their site responds with an error message. After you create the account, it takes you into the app where you try to upload a photo. Again, many error messages with a retry button. Then, apparently it uploaded 1 photo 3 times. I then tried to delete 2 of the extra photos. Many error messages. Obviously their servers are having issues. After reading all of the negative reviews, it appears this is a common theme for some time.

THIS APP IS NOT EVEN BBB ACCREDITED. HIGHLY RECCOMEND NOONE USE IT AS IT IS HIGHLY POSSIBLE IT IS BEING USED TO HARVEST DATA ON CUSTOMERS & LINKED AS A BUSINESS PARTNER TO META.

I've received around 5-6 projects through Foap, and I'm really enjoying this service! The mobile app could be a bit better, but it still functions well. Additionally, the people at Foap are very helpful. I've received a lot of assistance on each project from Jules and Maria, who help me produce videos that clients really love.

Foap is amazing ! Perfect for any budding photographer … Missions are set by Foap and cash prizes are awarded for the best entries. It’s fun to enter and to read comments praising your efforts or you can compliment the talent of fellow Foaper entries. I think Foap has helped me improve my photography skills over the years I’ve been Foaping !Occasional bugs and hiccups do occur but you can always contact Foap who are always so friendly and help resolve any issues.

I have been a member of Foap for a several years. Over that time, I have had lots of interactions with other photographers and with Foap support staff. I've even had opportunities to work with brands on photos. I can honestly say that I have received payment for every single photo that I have sold over the years (approximately 400 photos!). In recent times, there have been some delays with payments. I'm not exactly sure why and if there's a problem, I always send an email to support and get a response.

I have been a foap user for nearly 3 years now. I was searching for an app to help myself be challenged and be motivated to improve my photography and foap has done that for me. I met so many cool fellow photographers, have been chosen to work the specific brands and I enjoy every mission that I can participate on. Foap has helped me connect with people, brands, and improve my craft.

I have been with Foap for many years and I really enjoy it! Fun missions and good rewards. I have made a lot of Foap-friends through comments on pictures and through the community. Due to this I have found new travel destinations and lots of inspiration from other users! You get to now lots of interesting new places and customs world wide, not just the tourist places. The only downside is that there has been some delays regarding the payments due to problems with PayPal. After sending emails to the support I have received all my payments.

Finally I stopped to spend time with this app. The firstly the payment of my money from the competitions I won took around 5-6 months. Which is not normal at all. And it was only 115$!!! Not thousands. And the second reason after I complained a few times about payments, they stopped to award me. Even if my photos got more attentions from experienced users and comments they never win again. Because it’s taking so much time, bed feelings and afford to do I decided to use another more trustful platform with a prompt payments to sell my photos. In my opinion the idea of app and community is good but the realisation is not good at all.

Recommend Foap for working with Video and Photo UGC creators. We are a fashion e-commerce brand, selling in US, Europe and Australia. With Foap we gathered a community of UGC creators who constantly produce content for us. Great team, great product!

I liked this app at first.Many photos there on by me.I believed that I could have sold two pics but dissapointed..Two many followers,and one sold photo but not enough to take a payment .I was supportive and I learned by watching as an amateur.There was a time with no good connection,surprising that l could not find a solution.I told my issue but nothing happened for a almost a month..By the way,we see some persons win again and again ,even if they are good photographers many others with really good photos not rewarded.

Apparently there are a lot of envious people there or competitors who like to report photos for no reason. it's so beautifully anonymousDue to this misuse of the reporting function, I have had to wait days for manual verification, which is extremely boldI hope this never happens again, otherwise I would rather support the competition and that something is finally being done against the abuse of the reporting function. Nobody wants to be portrayed as a fraud for no reason and waste time pointlessly

Careful signing up with Foap. You have to pay to join the contests (which have cash prizes). Numerous reports of users with thousands of followers selling 2 photos. They only pay $5 per photo....lol. I uploaded numerous photos which I took and own, and they closed my account without telling me. Turns out they claim someone reported my photos, Foap told me (and I quote) - "You stole those photos, don't upload stolen photos here". Most bizarre experience I have had with a stock agency (I sell professionally on numerous other sites). The site smells of scam, and they are in Poland, so buyer beware.

I love using Foap and after six years I’ve managed to sell dozens of photos and videos. The recent payment delay was unusual but I did get paid and the admin was very supportive and understanding.

I love taking photos and I was hoping that Foap would give me the spirit of competition and challenge. This was the case all the time until I won the competition and decided to withdraw the winning $25. They promised that the money would arrive on my PayPal on December 1, 2023. And now it's March 2024. Almost half a year has passed since I clicked the withdraw to PayPal button.I wrote to support and got the same answer twice. “We are experiencing some issues in our payment system which we are currently addressing. The payments will be made once the problems are fixed.” It was a shame, because I heard a lot of positive feedback, participated in the community and took photos specifically for competitions. It’s a pity that this application turned out to be a disappointment, which consumed a lot of emotions and time.

I have more of a question than a review. I just start posting on foap and I received a message from a user or buyer not sure how to identify which is which, but the user wanted me to message them on another platform like Snapchat so I did and we spoke briefly and he stated that he is willing to pay me 2,500 for some photos of landscapes and Lakes and that I would send them to him on Snapchat and that they would vote on them and then pay me. Has anyone else experienced this and is it legit?

I’m a new user to Foap. I was excited to share my amateur photos on this platform. But being new to this an other social media apps, I was also excited when I got many likes on my recent uploads as well. However, I was also contacted by so called individual buyers claiming they would like to buy my photos, and being somewhat naive to this offer, soon found out it was all just a way to get photos without payment. My only issue with this app that I was unaware that individuals would contact you regarding your pictures within the app, and then promising to buy them but never really intentionally. I thought this app was only for legit businesses and owners to correspond with photographers. I thought all possible purchases would be legit and through the app only. Lesson learned

There have been several rogue users on this site who have been pilfering images from Pixabay.com and likely elsewhere and trying to sell the content on this site while administrators do nothing but tell white little lies about how to report the misappropriation of the digital media. They should go down in flames and they will be likely be party to a lawsuit soon enough.

Foap is a very trustworthy company! I have been a member for a few years and it has been an absolute blessing! It has been a great way to stay challenged with the art of Photography and also to have an opportunity to earn money. The Foap staff is very helpful and quick to get back to you if you have a question. I also enjoy the many kind photographers that encourage me and others.Way to go Foap!! Keep up the excellent work!! 👍👍

“Interesting contests”

I love to take photographs. I was hoping to make some $ on selling photos on FOAP, however, it seems more difficult to make $ than I anticipated. I have participated in several contests, uploaded over 100+ photos, labeled them religiously with hashtags, and rated other FOAP photos (all advice which FOAP gives). Great platform IF you can be discovered by clients, as the site probably has millions of other photos.
