findflightcost.com Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives findflightcost.com a low trust score on the platform: 19.9. It signals that the business could be defined by the following tags: New. Suspicious. Dubious.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 19.9 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to findflightcost.com's industry. The algorithm detected high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the New. Suspicious. Dubious. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying away from this website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning findflightcost.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between findflightcost.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of findflightcost.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of findflightcost.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. findflightcost.com is a suspicious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether findflightcost.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether findflightcost.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, findflightcost.com.
Online Reviews of findflightcost.com
- Score: 3.2
I booked a flight for 178 dollars and paid for it. A minute later i got a call from the travel agency and was told flights change so quickly & my flight is no longer available at that price. Itll only be available for another 400 dollars each and if i want to cancel Ill be charge 50 dollars a ticket. I want those flights. They cancelled my ticket after I complained for a few minutes. I want those flights at the advertised flight.THIS IS CALLED BAIT AND SWITCH
I was about to press pay then looked at the reviews….unfortunately the reviews are correct…..NEGATIVE! I rang to check the price and even though it’s still on their sight it wasn’t available so they added over £1,000 onto the price. Stick with Skyscanner people as they are true prices with proper companies
I received exceptional customer service from the agent "Maria". I had a problem getting my card to process the payment for my ticket and Maria was so patient and kept attempting and calling me to let me know it was still not getting processed. She didn't have to do this, but did and it was very much appreciated. I would hope to work with her every time I have to make travel arrangements.
I helped my fiance to find an airline seat for an upcoming family trip. After checking "all" the online websites, I saw a good deal for a flight on findflightcost.com. We needed details about where the seat would be on the plane and other things, so I called the number on the top of the page. I spoke to Maria S., who was very helpful. We found there's no way to check where seats are on the website, so she took the time to verbally "show" where the various options were (including good leg room.) Cost was a factor, and Maria took the time to check different dates and times to get the best deal we could for this trip. When she had to check on things (internally) she made sure I knew I would be on hold for approximately ~x~ minutes beforehand. Even though the call took a while, I felt that all our questions were answered more than sufficiently.
We ran into some hiccups with ticket availability, but Simon and the team at Findflightcost went above and beyond to assist our company. Thank you for everything!! :)
Mark Wilson provided excellent customer service in assisting me with the correct airlines, times and the accomendations needed due to my disability
Since there is no ZERO STARS option, I chose 1 star. This is a classic bait-and-switch operation. Here is how it works. You book and pay online then you get an email stating that you've made a "reservation request." The email instructs you to call a 1-855 number but not to worry....before you have a chance to call, they will call you. The agent, "Maria" will tell you about a "glitch" with your reservation request but assure you that she (or he, I guess) will be able to help you work it out. I was first offered different flights that were $1,200 more than what I paid for. When I wouldn't accept that, I was offered flights that were $700 more that what I paid for. If you are here reviewing this scam company after you have clicked send with your credit card information (like me). Just forcefully tell them to cancel the reservations. You will then have to keep a close eye on your credit card for the next couple of weeks. THIS IS SO WEAK!!!!! Geez, what a waste of time. This EDIT is in response to the comment below from findflightcost.com. While I did closely follow my credit card for the next few weeks, no unauthorized charges were placed on the card. Also, the initial amount that I did authorized never posted. That is the good part. What is bad and a complete waste of time is that their sales tactics are classic bait & switch.
Offered me a flight, Then said unavailable, wanted to charge me 3 times the amount, then told me their was a 100 cancelation fee, when they did nothing for me....told them good luck, then they just called me backbasked for 200 dollars for a cancelation fee!, told them they never found me flight and to go F___ them selves...nothing g but a scam company looking for elderly people to give them money..they should be shut down!!
Excellent customer service! Excelente!! Very big help they treated me like family thank you so much for THE gentleman that took cared of me im forever grateful he was magnificent he looked and looked to help me find the right flight from my situation that was last minute the world needs more people like him and thank you for your professionalism dedication and kindness
Booked round trip flights through this company, one of the flights was already fully booked despite them advertising as available. They tried to charge me over 3x the original price for the next available ticket. I didn't accept the changed flight time and price and now they said they will charge a $75 cancellation fee.
Professional, accomodating, courtesy follow up and getting the entire purchase through to ensure confidence and completion.
Booked a flight and they called to say it was not available at the price and tried to charge me 3 times the amount instead. I should've read the reviews. This company is a scam and I told them that on the phone. I told them I'm not paying and suddenly there's a $70 cancelation fee. I told them that wasn't on there site and it's BS and hung up. They called back and said the price quoted was an error and it's just $275 more instead of $700+ more. I told them no since I can get it cheaper directly from the airline. They hung up on me. They then charged my card $120 for canceling on them. I'll need to dispute this with my CC company now. Update: You have my full name and contact information and now just playing damage control. My initial review already gave my full interaction with this scam company and they're asking for more details. SMH.You want to resolve the situation, then reverse the BS cancelation charge!Everyone, look at their BBB reviews to see how they are a bait and switch scam company. Avoid them at all cost people. Hopefully there's a class action lawsuit on them so I can join.
The same thing happened to me that happened to the previous reviewer. Flight looked like it was booked but then I called them and they said not available and tried to charge me more money. Not a legitimate company.
Shout out to Diego! Amazing service - Marisol.
Great Travel Experience in affordable price.

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
