A little over a week ago, I went to a famous footwear store to look for new shoes and I found a mostly white pair of nikes that I really liked. The pair in my size they had available there was completely stained in red, though, and the staff said that I could make an order for delivery. It all went smoothly until I received the shoes, which were in a wrong size and completely stained in the same bright red. It's obvious it was from the cheap dye all over the terrible delivery packaging. I was able to get most of it out but not all of it, and I'm really disappointed.
I’m very disappointed and famous footwear credit card first of all it took almost 3 months to get my card. Had to go in the store to make payments. It’s very annoying then they gave me a late payment..
The staff at the West Chester OH were not helpful at all, I asked for help finding walking shoes and tennis shoes, they pointed and said "they are over there" I was interrupting their personal conversations, imagine that ! Absolutely No customer service, no help, awful experience. Will not be going back.

The young black woman with the nose ring, never checked my shoe box to make sure that the correct shoes were in there or if the sizes matched. I could have put a expensive pair in the box and got away with it. she was more worried about writing something on a plastic cup of drink than me. No thank you, no nothing. No bag offered either. Phoned to get specific instructions for their place of business in a large mall. Someone said 'hello' I asked is this famous footwear, someone said um, yes. I asked what stores are near you so I can find you. Mumble mumble someone said. Asian accent and I see when researching the company the shoes are al made in China and there are a raft of bad reviews, especially of staff. They need more and/or better training. I will not buy out of North America items. Quality of Asian overseas is to bad for the money.You do not have 2024 in your calender!
The automatic payment system which has my bank account info because I have paid multiple times, asked for my routing number and account number again. I immediately refused to enter that info into the internet again. I called, canceled my credit card with Famous Footwear. I can buy their cheap Asian made shoes other places. I will never again shop at this racket company again.
Service was fantastic. Purchased Oofos Slide Sandal. I've been purchasing Oofos Flip Flops for many years (6+) and love them. More recently the Flip Flops are beginning to bother my toes so I purchased Ooahh Slide Sandals. They fit in the store but after using them for abt 1 hour walking, I kept stepping out of them and couldn't keep them on. In my case, I'd give the Slide Sandals a 0 rating and the store attendants a 5 rating. Now, I am wondering if I just throw them away. I returned the slide sandles and they accepted them and credited my card withoutquestion. I highly recommend Famous Footwear in La Quinta.
I received delivery of my shoes today and was very disappointed at the level of care and attention. I opened the package and the box was torn and didn’t even have a lid. There were no paper or cardboard inserts in theshoes; it’s as if someone returned them and they were just sent out as-is, in an incomplete box. The store located in Clifton,NJ the manager is so rude and nasty. I really don’t know how she is a manager. Had to return a pair of boots, months ago! This company still is not saying they refunded the order, even though tracking shows item has been returned to them. When asking where my refund is, they keep skirting the answer saying send them "proof" and tracking, even though they have the item! Calling my credit card people to dispute. I ordered online through quadpay. I wouldn't have an issue except I ordered 2 pairs and while one "the nikes" were perfect the "bulldog B52s" are insanely tight.if they weren't size 13 they would fit my girl ok.they are about as slim as a high heel.if you order online through them read reviews on the product because the return process isn't even worth time.

I signed up for auto pay to pay my famous footwear bill like I always make sure to do in order to avoid missing a payment date as it is too difficult to keep track of numerous payment dates for different cards. Despite signing up for autopay, I apparently didn't get my bill automatically paid and was assessed a late fee. Upon checking, it doesn't have any auto pay set up on the account. I don't know how this is possible when the first thing I always do upon receiving a bill is set up auto pay. I NEVER don't use auto pay in order to avoid having late fees like I'm dealing with now. I have now been assessed at least two late fees that I am aware of. I really don't feel it is fair for me to have to pay late fees that I took the steps to avoid having.

“Store promotion”

I saw the promotion sale sign on their window just outside of there checkout and I entered the store because of that promotion. Sale sign was spend $75 get $15 off, $100 get $25 off and spend $125 and get $30 off. I spent $125 for 2 pairs of shoes and they didn't give any single penny discount. I talked with them and they told me we don't have any promotions. I showed the promotion sign hanging in the window and sales associate told me he doesn't know anything about that. The lady working the Huber Heights, Ohio location was very disrespectful. My grandmother needed help with a shoe, and she eventually decided to order them online, and the lady working walked away sarcastically and shrugged her shoulders. My card says customer since 2016! I've purchased a lot of shoes from Famous Footwear both in store & online. There was only one order in all the years & tons of shoes that wasn't right. Used to shop here but they now close even earlier since the Xmas season started (now that's logical). The one in Leominster is open til 6pm. Ordered sneakers for my grandsons for Christmas. FedEx delivered them to the wrong address. Called FedEx they said to call the store, called the store they said to call FedEx. Well, store said I would get a refund in 12 days. A month later I called back again and finally was issue a refund. Decided to give it another try and order 2 sandals and 1 sneaker for the grandsons again and I received one sandal and one ugly crocs that I did not order. Called the store and gave them all the info on the crocs, order number, name and address of the person who they belonged to. 2 days later I get an email that they were not refunding me for the one sandal and the sneaker I did not received and was instructed to put a claim with the police if my packages were being stolen. I even told the person on the phone I have cameras and that no one was stealing my packages that the first time it was FedEx mistake and the second time it was their mistake. “Very poor customer service”

I ordered shoes in store for my son for Christmas. In store the address was reviewed and confirmed. Somehow, it was switched to an old address after I left. I called the store and the employee remembered me. Remembers the address confirmation. Couldn't understand how it reverted back to the old address on file. It was now customer services job to figure out what to do. The shoes were not returned. I spoke to a rep and was told her supervisor would go over my claim and I'd receive an email. The email stated that records showed I paid with a debit card, so they would be issuing a check. To the address the shoes were mailed to! Why?! If the address was wrong, why would they issue a check to that address?! I replied it didn't make sense to send it to a wrong address. Got an email back saying to allow up to two weeks for it to arrive. If it doesn't arrive, I can call back and they'll do a stop payment. Allow two weeks for it to process, then they can update the address. Still doesn't make sense. Reverse the charges, makes sense. Getting the correct address to mail the check to, makes sense. Making me wait over a month, then getting the right address makes sense to them?! I argued back and forth through email for a total a five emails. Each time a different rep saying it's policy?! To issue a check to a known wrong address? The issue was an incorrect address. So they issued to said wrong address and will use the correct one after we all waste time. My son has already returned to California. He didn't get his shoes, and I'm out over a hundred dollars. All I wanted was the funds reissued so I can purchase again, and send them to him. I will NEVER buy from famous footwear after this. When/if I get my money back, I will purchase his Doc Martins elsewhere. Tip for consumers:Just don’t purchase for delivery.
