I love shopping for fabrics here. Their deals beat Joann's in a heartbeat and the price (fabric+shipping) altogether can't be beat. I have browsed their extensive fabric collection and have discovered fabrics I have never tried before suitable for dresses. I have always been impressed with the quality of the newly discovered fabrics. I love their percentage coupons applicable on every order. I believe their warehouse is in Georgia which is only 1 state away from where I am so my order gets to me quicker.
I've ordered a few times now from fabric.com and I'm very happy with the items I've purchased. My orders are mostly for my home sewing and crafting needs and the fabrics are beautiful, high quality materials. Items arrived quickly and there's never been a mistake in the order. Their site is easy to navigate and lets you know if an item is not available. You can even leave your email to be notified when an item is available again. I'm very happy with fabric.com.
A fabric they advertised as 'organic cotton' turned out to be more like %20-%30 polyester (felt super silky and melted from a flame). Took several phone calls and enduring of snark to be reimbursed. Will avoid this company in the future.
10/26/18My only order though Fabric.com is not going well. Aside from being bombarded with daily unwanted email solicitations, 1. my order was never acknowledged, 2. My telephone inquiry was met with hostility, 3. I was sent directly to voice mail when I asked to speak to a supervisor 4. My added $40 payment for expedited delivery should arrive in 7 days. 5. Email remains unanswered after 3 days. 6. No tracking number though they say the order was shipped. This company leaves lots to be desired. It's not for me. I should have heeded the many review warnings.
I have made several purchases from fabric.com and there is no consistency in how they cut the fabric. When I order a yard of fabric, I expect to receive one yard/36". Instead about half the fabric I've gotten has been cut on a diagonal that measures 36" on one edge and 34" on another, the the rest of the fabric only measure 34"!!! Such a waste of my money! I gave 2 stars because I actually love the fabric.
This was my first and only purchase with Fabric.com . I found the exact same fabric priced significantly lower (less than half Fabric.com price) the next day. I contacted customer service who very curtly explained they did not price match and did not offer a small make good , coupon or discount Clearly, my business was not important to this company. I am returning the fabric and going else where. More because of attitude than price.....they also block negative reviews.
I am disappointed in fabricti.com I made a order on 31/12/2021 I still have not received any goods 😢 and emailed weekly to be told wait 7 business days 😢 I will be going to the bank to have a full refund as this has gone on long enough,I also will be making a legal claim as it must be a scam.please do not buy from this store online it will save you money in the long run.
I would highly suggest against ordering from this company unless you want your hard earned money going into a place where the 35 year old manager sleeps with the teenagers who he hires on because he grooms them up first saying hr wants to fire them but he wont agree. Hr is actually his mother, grandmother and father who all know exactly what's going on. Employees are treated terribly and told daily they are replaceable then ask you to come in early or stay late. Only time you have job security is if you're sleeping with him and 18 years old or younger. Doesnt even matter of they have a boyfriend or not. Absolutely worst company I’ve dealt with. I asked for details of my order and said it’s been a week and all I got was “actually you made your order on the 5th so it’s not been a week” 🤬 how rude is that, and they still give me any details, I’ve spent £200 and now I’m worried I’m not going to get the items or my money back
I like their fabrics, and that's it.They have more than once listed fabrics as in stock when they weren't. I'm shipping a small order, so they don't care, and they make that very clear when things go wrong. When I had to reorder a certain fabric because they were out of stock I had to pay shipping again, almost three times the price of the actual fabric. I explained to them that this was because of their mistake, and got a ten dollar discount. To offset a 32 dollar shipping fee. Calling them out on this got nothing.This is, of course, after around three weeks of very slow communication from them.Not recommended.

I have no complaints about the fabric. My issue is with the company not refunding me on my returns. I have a small business and buy frequently from them. Sometimes I send fabric back. Refunds are supposed to be within 5-7 days, but I have been waiting 5-8 weeks. CS is nice and say they escalate my requests for refunds, but nothing ever happens. So I have lost the fabric, paid my credit card, and no refunds yet. Beware!
Very disappointed.Item was fake - had no leather trimming and dodgy stitching. Went to Prada store to verify and they confirmed that the model was released in 2018 and should have saffiano leather trimming.Customer service defended the product however did not offer any insight on their "authentication" process or people and tried to make me feel like I'm crazy for trusting Prada. I ordered a “bolt” of white Kona brand cotton. Instead of arriving on a nice Kona labels bolt, it arrived flat and badly folded. In that condition it was utterly unusable, and I’m not even convinced it is really Kona brand.

I had the previous fabric for 12 years and it never got moldy. It looked old that is why I replaced the fabric. I purchased 13 yards, paid to have the cushions re-upholstered. “No problems”

I was hesitant to order from this company after reading the reviews; they were rated either 1 star or 5 stars. Well, I would give it 5 stars. I ordered online so had no interaction with anyone on the phone or with customer service. I received my order ahead of the expected delivery date. Fabric was cut perfectly straight (not angled like some complaints, leaving customers short of yardage) and my pieces came in one length (not cut into segments). From my limited experience, I would order from them again. My only quibble is that I would have liked the option to order 1/4 or 3/4 of some cuts rather than 1/2 or a full yard.

“My fabric was all cut very badly”

I ordered 4 one yard cuts of cotton prints. All were cut so badly that both edges were crooked and off by as much as 3 inches on each end. One piece was 3 inches short. “Placed an order four days ago and assumed that it was...”

Placed an order four days ago and assumed that it was on its way. Received a very unapologetic customer service email today stating that my fabric would have to be sent in pieces (half yard increments) or they would cancel the order in 24 hours if they do not hear from me. The only redeeming quality of this site is the good selection of organic fabric. Overall, mediocre pricing, slow shipping, sucky customer service, website does not indicate when a fabric is not available in consecutive yardage. I think I'll continue to hunt for a supplier.

I have been ordering from here for several years and have yet to find anything to be disappointed in. The customer service is great, prices are amazing, shipping time is WOW! Just call if you have concern. It is obvious that no one works incoming emails in their customer service department. Maybe "frantic.com" should put a couple of their marketing employees on the emails. Still waiting for order to be shipped 14 days after placing the order. Good luck everyone

I ordered 8 yards on clearance, and without my consent they only sent me 2 yards because that was all they had. They do not reply to emails. Very sub-standard customer service. I won't deal with them again. There are too many better sites available.

I seriously do not know how this company stays in business. I have yet to deal with a company that has worse service than fabric.com I called no less than 6 times regarding an order and was given 6 different excuses by 6 different representatives, including a manager. The manager then told me he would call me back to resolve the issue and never did. I cannot even begin to explain what transpired from here on out because it's so aggravating. This company is a JOKE. I love the selection and the prices but lately the customer service has been very poor. I had to return some quilting fabric because I didn't like the color- that was no problem at all. However, their site says to give them 10-15 business days to credit the account. After waiting more than 15 days, I sent an email to them. Their reply was to give it another 7-10 days! Also, they don't ship within the time frame that is promised on the site. Will probably still order from them because the selection is good. Most times you can find a coupon code online for a discount, too. I've never paid full price.

“Asked for refund, got banned”

I only recently started using this site. I gave them three chances. Every single order had flawed cuts (grease marks or snagged knits) and one of them even attempted to substitute something else other than what was ordered (white suiting for stretch mesh - really?) On the last order, I requested a replacement with the correct fabric. The customer service indicated that it was "out of stock" even though it appeared to be in stock on the site. She said UPS would pick up the wrong fabric... They never came. I have repeatedly asked for a refund, and all I got was banned from the site.

I ordered velveteen. Really nice stuff that I had ordered before and except for sloppy packaging I had no complaints. Until yesterday. When I opened my order and it was flannel! I have ordered many times from Fabric.com. My order arrived quickly however I ordered 9 yards for a quilt backing. They shipped 8 7/8 yards. 4 1/2 inches short! Now I look at their website and they only have 1 yard left! Not enough to make the backing without awkward piecing. I am so disappointed. I will think twice about ordering from them again! Seems I am in the minority as far as my experiences with Fabric.com. Have never had a problem that needed contact with Customer Service there. “The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing”

2 emails did not answer questions I had asked, so I got on the instant chat, and was told there was nothing unusual about my order, and it would ship as ordered. No sooner had I gotten off that conversation when I received an email saying some would not ship. Fabric.com is the worst online retailer I've encountered so far. I purchased a small piece of fabric on 7/31/2012 and till this day it was not shipped. They simply created a UPS label on 8/7/12 to fool me into believing that it's shipped but UPS doesn't actually possess the package. Their customer service made the excuse that they are currently moving and therefore all shipments are delayed. They offered no solution to rectify the problem, only asking me to "understand" that they are moving and I may have to wait indefinitely until they are done. At this point there's no estimate when my merchandise will be shipped.

Complete fail. Ordered fleece, received broadcloth. Correct item not in stock any longer. Asked how to return for credit, told to leave on front door step and UPS would come pick it up - NOT! There is a customer rep named Brenda and she cuts you before even you can communicate or finish your sentence. I thought customer reps are supposed to listen and help you and not treat you with rude behavior. I experienced this twice! If you are a quilter and need fabric quickly, do not order from this company. I placed an order. Site said two day processing. So I expected it to at least ship out during those two business days. I order at 9:00 am on a Thursday. I called on Monday and was told it would not even go in mail until end of day Tuesday! "Thursday was not included as on of the 2 days!" Wow, never again for me. “WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER”

I am still waiting for fabric that I ordered on Dec 30!. My package is lost, and all I get from customer service is "did you contact the postal service?". Seriously? Try to do that! They would not help me, had a crummy attitude, and this was after 2 emails went completely unanswered. Bad, bad, place. Do not order from them.

Low prices are nice, but not when you have poor service & are unable to receive what you ordered. After four days of no emails telling me it had shipped, I called. Going out today they said. Later that night I received an email saying I had ordered 14 yards but they only had 13- yes, I replied please send that. Two days go by nothing and I call again. It's going out today. Next day still no email that it shipped I called again. Hmmm not sure why it didn't ship, but it's going out today- with no apologies or concern. And guess what, I just got an email saying they are down to 9 yards now. Cancel order! Shop your local store and try to catch a sale- this site is awful!

“I will not be ordering from this company again.”

I have ordered several swatches now and placed two large fabric orders. I was reticent to buy swatches at $3 a pop (+ shipping) and was shocked/disappointed to have spent that much for each 8" x 8" swatch -- it is especially difficult to determine what the fabric actually looks like if there is any sort of pattern. I ended up placing two separate orders for fabric (one at the beginning of January and another at the end of January). For each order, they notified me about a week after I placed my order to let me know that they were unable to fulfill part of my order. For the fabric I have received, they cut it very diagonally (not straight across), so it made it difficult for my sewing project and I ended up having to cut quite a bit off of the end. I have wasted way too much time and money with this company. There are better and more reliable companies out there.

Many times I've received a confirmation e-mail after purchase only to receive another e-mail four days later that something I already thought I had purchased is no longer in stock or available.
