Is eocharging.com Legit?

Do not use this company. I have an EO mini pro 3 which began showing a fault over a month ago. I called the customer support line and was told to expect a callback within 5 days. I was never called back.I subsequently emailed to check on an update. My email was never acknowledged. I then called again after two weeks. I was told that my case would be escalated and I should expect a call shortly. I was never called. Now over a month later I have called again and there is no discernible progress. I was again told that my case would be escalated, but I was not offered any timeline. I expect based on everyone else’s reviews that I will not be called back. Appalling service - avoid if you possibly can.

I find it astonishing that EO support are able to reply to positive reviews below and yet seem totally unable to respond to customers with bad reviews due to lack of support over technical issues.When I say lack of support I mean absolutely zero!Nothing NaddaZilch.3 weeks and counting. Numerous emails, several calls, all wasted time as they do not respond.

We got an EO Mini Pro 2 ev charger supplied and fitted by Electric Ireland 2 years ago. The first one lasted only a few months. It was replaced. This one stopped working since April 2024. I rang the company in the UK several times. They seem to go through the same procedure every time I rang. They always say that a technician will contact me within 5 working days. It is 23rd July 2024 and still nothing. EO probably has the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I would not recommend EO to anyone.

I have tried to report a fault 3 times since May (seperate to completing website forms), was told I would be called back within 5 working days. No call back, no issue solved... I've now had to resort to Youtube for help. The App is atrocious! Stay clear

Home charger off line for over a month. Can no longer charge my car at home.Been waiting for any response at all from EO following email, online enquiry contact and direct telephone call. Nothing at all from them.Appalling customer service.I would not recommend to anyone.

To set your expectations the customer service that I have received with my latest fault is absolutely abysmal. I reported my current fault 2 weeks ago and have chased the report on 3 occasions. I still have had no response from the technical department. I have no confidence in this company and would like my money back.

Don’t use this product. The after sales service is non existent . They don’t answer e mails and use an independent call handling company to take phone calls. These people will issue a ticket number but that’s where it ends. Terrible service . My charger is still under warranty and they sent an engineer out who couldn’t see a problem . The problem is still there , it stops and starts throughout the night and on occasion trips out the distribution boards breaker switch . To not even get a reply to either phone calls or e mails is totally ignorant.

My 2nd support request has gone unanswered - what do I have todo to get some help with my flaky EO Mini Pro 3!!!! Mostly it works and then every no again it doesn't and leaves me high & dry - reliability is so important.

I had inherited an EO charger at our new house for which we had no information at all. Could not even identify type of charger. Telephoned Cat at EO and within 10- 15 mins had been able to identify charger type, been able to get serial no. of machine and also sorted out various other questions on the App, solar compatability etc.. Cat was brilliant in explaining all this and I am so very grateful to her for her time taken and her very pleasant non-complicated manner. Best customer support receivedI have had an issue with connecting the app with the home wifi but Greg with his top notch technical expertise troubleshoot the network issue and clearly guided me remotely so the connectivity issue has been resolved and the app is finally working. He also called the engineer whom installed the charger and made sure that he will be visiting me today to check the charger and cable are in good state.Many thanks Greg!Ad

In using helplines for various services for over 25 years this was one of the most productive discussions on troubleshooting I've experienced. it was nice to speak to someone at the end of the phone without any automated services. Cat, my service advisor, was polite, super helpful and dealt with my query on my EO charger efficiently and effectively. Well done Cat :)

I recently changed my Wi-Fi hub not realising it would disconnect my EO charger from my app. I tried everything myself to reconnect but failed … due to my own errors. Eventually I got a call today from Gary who patiently worked through, over a 1 1/2 hour call until finally giving me another option which I actioned myself. I am now reconnected. I was very impressed by the help I got from Gary and from two earlier calls, one with Kat and one with Lawrence.

I had an issue with my EO MiniPro 2 (under warranty) but EO Charging sorted out a replacement (thanks, Cat!) and a very helpful installer (EV Domestic) installed the new unit. I don't have a major problem when things fail, that's life - it's how a company deals with the problem that is important and I have no complaints on that front.

We’ve had really good experience with EO. From our initial enquiry to installation and even support after our charger stopped working in the cold weather. They’ve been quick to respond and when I recently reached out after some of our rubber screw covers disappeared, Cat in their service team immediately dispatched some replacements.Can’t fault them. Just wish they updated their app for the older EO Mini Pro 2 customers 🙏🏻

Greg and Cat have been most helpful. My EO Pro Mini 3 stopped working, a new one was delivered within 2 working days and an engineer arranged to reinstall. 5 star service and helpful throughout with regular email updates and calls.

Patience and clarity.After having an EO charger installed neither I nor the installer was able to set up the controlling EO app. We kept receiving a message stating that the QR code we were scanning was unrecognised. “Cat” from EO tech support called me and quickly identified the problem. She then spent the next 20 or so minutes patiently and with great clarity talking me through each step to rectify the problem, staying on the line until we were both certain all was in order. Thank you and well done, Cat!

Dan, our advisor, was due to go off duty but nevertheless spent a considerable amount of time to help us set up the EO phone app where we had been having much difficulty. He was very helpful, friendly and reassuring and it was great being in capable hands. He worked with us patiently until the issue was sorted. Exemplary customer care! Thank you.

I had an EO Mini Pro 1Charger fitted in February 2020.This failed in February 2024 coincidental with me being informed that all software support was being withdrawn. Despite assurances that it would still operate as a "dumb" charger which was not what I originally purchased, I could not get it to work. EO recommended an installer to come and fix it at my expense of £114.00. They took one look and told me that the model was obsolete with no spares available! They tested it but could not identify any faults. EO have offered a 23% discount on a new charger but I have to pay the fitting fee! Make your own mind up if you think that this represents a quality product or adequate support.

A issue came up where the EO Charger lost connection with the App, so I called the Help Line expecting the standard zero help, but how wrong I was; the Agent, Cat, was absilutely brilliant and very painstaking.Without doubt a 5 Star company and 5 Star staff.

After what felt like a kick in the teeth from Electric Ireland, who we originally paid to install our EV charger and basically washed their hands of us, EO have been a breath of fresh air. Our charger abruptly stopped working and EO’s customer care was second to none. They initially sent EPower out to try to repair the unit and then had EPower replace the unit when it couldn’t be fixed. This was hugely appreciated as I’m home with a newborn and a toddler. They kept in regular contact and were extremely reassuring. I couldn’t fault them. A special thanks to Andrew at EO for all this help, an absolute gentleman!
