2/3 items, they didn't have. Very poor customer service. Will not buy there ever again. Still waiting for them to adjust the order and refund my CC. Stay away!

If I could give a negative 10 I would. I purchased a complete set last year that was over $2,000 for our patio at one of our businesses. A corner bottom piece was cracked, and an entire section of the couch was missing. I have given every excuse because the new and missing part have that been replaced/sent. We have since switched suppliers and have spent over $25,000 with them and have had no issues. This company has no business ethics or customer service when it comes to fulfilling what you paid for. “Buyer BEWARE!”

We ordered several chairs from this website under the assumption that they were brown wood with beige cushions. However, they came in and they were pinkish wood with yellow cushion. When asked to return them while they are willing to return them the shipping to get them back is on you and generally will cost you more than the item itself. They do not offer any assistance with this so just be careful when ordering from them as images on their website are very deceiving.

I spent forever trying to find something that would ship within the week and they wasted two days of my time while I waited for them to tell me the table I ordered was out of stock for the next two months. We already had someone coming to pick up our old furniture, so we spent a week without a place to sit because they don't keep their inventory levels current on the website. “Dishonest”

Absolutely lacking integrity. They don't have the item and just let it delay and slide until you keep pressing on for when it's going to ship. They really intended to keep your money for the longest time for weeks without shipping out … I mean who does that? And there's no mentioned of a ship date back order or any delay. “6 months to get my order”

I ordered a buffet table in the middle of August 2022 I got an email at the end of August saying they were sold out and the back order would arrive mid December. Now fast forward, it's December and I get another email saying it's been delayed AGAIN til April. Unless it's exactly what you are looking for, get it somewhere else. I'm regretting purchasing from this company, but feel like I've already waited this long

“Complete Lack of Customer Service”

This company does not honor their return policy. I returned the items I purchased because the quality was very poor for the price of the items and never received my refund. I had to pay for the shipping to return the items and still did not receive the refund. Basically I paid for items and paid to return the items without receiving a refund, so I lost over $100 and don't even have the items that I paid for. The company provided me a return authorization number, I followed their instructions and the refund was never processed. Stay far far away from this company they will steal your hard earned money. “Terrible products; terrible client service”

Product was not as pictured. We tried to return it, only to be told they don't cover shipping for their returns and have a restocking fee. Cost of return shipping and restocking was same as product. Terrible customer service was totally unhelpful, and it feels borderline extortionate dealing with a company. “Refund scammers”

We bought 6 chairs from english elm. Before receiving the chairs we already decided on different ones. When the 3 boxes arrived we asked for a refund without even opening the boxes. Had our refund accepted and sent the 3 boxes back paying shipping out of pocket. Tracking said the boxes arrived. Thought everything was on order until Andrew from customer service sent pics of the chairs with scratches on them claiming they were damaged and we would not get a refund. Below are the pics they sent of this unsellable damaged chairs. They found miniscule scratches and used this to deny us a refund. We never even opened the boxes because their refund policy dats the item must return in original packaging with no seen attempts at assembly. So we have no chairs and we are out the shipping. Do not order from this company. And don't believe these fake responses on here. This company will not make it right.

“Horrible customer service and return policy!”

I bought an 8x10 rug. Didn't open it wanted to send back so went to post office and the rug was $300 to ship back, rug was $500 if that tells you anything! I called English elm multiple times and no one answers. Always a voicemail. I was able to email an employee who said they could do nothing other than credit me 30 to keep the rug! Then he said 60! “Awful and dishonest company”

Awful and dishonest company. I would avoid purchasing anything here. They updated their return policy mid way through my claim to avoid taking responsibility for a defective item. Their policy now outlines that the pictures can be inaccurate and materials can differ! (see pics of the swirls on the item and tell me how this is normal) They first offered me $50 off my item to which I said no to as it doesn't fix the defect. Upon escalating the case further, they took 2 weeks to get back to me saying they had to contact the manufacturer. After following up 3 times they finally got back to me but not with the manufacturers response (because did they really contact the manufacturer?) instead with a local decision that they deemed my item not defective, pointing me to their updated policy which in short voids them being accountable for any defect. So all I'm subject to is the standard return which means shipping a heavy piece of faulty furniture back costs more than the furniture itself, and you have to arrange delivery which no standard courier will take due to the weight. I could escalate this further with screenshots to show their policy page changes before and during my claim but its of more value to cut my losses and use my time to write this to warn others to avoid such a company so they do not have the same experience I did. “Poor Quality, Poor Service”

I ordered a bed months ago that was reported as "in stock" on the company's website. Apparently that was not the case. My shipment proceeded to be delayed for 3 months, with several generated emails saying "I was on the next shipment, make sure you reserve your spot" then only to receive the same email with a delay the following month. Alas my bed came... the headboard was completely broken. As for the bed's based, it was not broken but severely scratched up making it a total eyesore in my room. I contacted the company and they said they could send me a new headboard. In 2 months... I asked if instead they could just give me a partial refund (a measly $200) and not go through the hassle of sending the headboard, and they refused. Needless to say, I will not shop here again or advise anyone to do so. Use Wayfair if you must go cheap and fast -- at least their customer service is good.

“Literally No Help”

My order number was *******6284 so you know this is a real review. I ordered a sectional that ended up being to small for the room. Granted that was my fault for not properly measuring but when I asked to by an additional center section for the couch they replied saying they didn't sell them. When I wrote back asking how they handled replacing pieces of the couch that were damaged during shipping they literally stopped communicating. How hard is it to sell me an additional section of a section when they have the ability too? Now I'm stuck with a couch that looks like a joke in my living room because it's so small. Never spending money with this company again if they refuse to help and I'm in the process of building 15 new Airbnb 4-5 bedroom houses that I will be furnishing… Tip for consumers:Double and triple check your orders because you’re going to get no effort or help from this company if you make a mistake. My item was delayed 6+ months, but Jen it arrived the delivery persons refused to take it to my unit. I had to pay movers to come assist me. The dining room table I purchased is terrible quality. “Refusing to accept return of a defective table”

Paid $200 for a console table. Received a poor quality item made of particle board and one leg is 1/2" shorter than the other three. I sent them pictures of the wobbly table, customer service rep responded saying it's because my floors are not level and refused to provide a return label, claiming the table is not broken.

Although it took 5 weeks for our Aspenhome bed to arrive, Englishelm was $400 cheaper than the next closest price I could find. We had a minor issue, but their customer service was responsive and helpful. Bottom line, if you need it fast, look elsewhere. If you want the best deal, try Englishelm. I will be using them again! “I would avoid using this company in the future!”

The company they use to ship your stuff is a JOKE! The box was destroyed when it showed up today. It was so torn apart he couldn't even get it in my house so he had to carry in each piece of my table while the box lay in my front yard. Prior to this I found out the hard way that their is no one who will answer or return calls. They do all communication via email and after about 20 emails back and forth I learned they just tell you what you want to hear but it really goes nowhere. They did make my deadline but the stress of what to do if there was a damage to my table was not worth it. I'll stick with known companies who back up there stuff in the future. I read if there are damages upon arrival you still pay to return it and I had I refused the delivery today (with the box in shambles) I would have been charged a refusal fee. Insane in my opinion and lesson learned. BE CAREFUL before ordering with this company! I just tried to upload photos but isn't allowing me to.

I ordered a set of 2 end tables and coffee table from them. They came several days late. Got 1 complete end table and 1 incomplete plus no coffee table. They did end up sending another end table after a lot of back and forth and begging on my end. And they said the coffee table was discontinued and would have to refund me for a portion of my order. Fine but now we don't have a matching coffee table. I did not like how the prices went up in such a short amount of time. I was checking prices and comparing with other sites and after a few weeks the prices had gone up since the last time I checked. We spent about a month getting our order right and finally paid the bill mid-January. They predicted the furniture would be delivered in March. When we had no delivery date mid-March, they said the furniture was backordered to July (which is a lie because the furniture was supposed to be made from scratch). It is now May 10th and we just found out this week that English Elm is no longer carrying the company that makes the furniture we bought. I agree with their reasons for no longer using the vendor, but 4 months of holding onto our money just to say that makes this sound like A SCAM.
