The Scam Detector website Validator gives ehealthinsurance.com a fairly high trust score on the platform: 81.7. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Fair. Valid. Known.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 81.7 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to ehealthinsurance.com's industry. The algorithm detected a low risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Fair. Valid. Known. tags above. Long story short, we deemed this a known website, with a low scam probability. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning ehealthinsurance.com, let's look closer at the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between ehealthinsurance.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of ehealthinsurance.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of ehealthinsurance.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. ehealthinsurance.com is an innocuous suspicious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether ehealthinsurance.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether ehealthinsurance.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, ehealthinsurance.com.

I enrolled in Blue Shield Medicare Supplement on 6/14/24, with an effective date of 7/1/24, and received no updates on the status to learn if it was actually effective. On one outbound call, I learned that they sent my information over to Blue Shield on July 3. I left numerous messages around the organization since the end of June and have yet to receive a call back from anyone, and today is July 29.
Worst possible customer service. They are very responsive when getting you to enroll. After that good luck trying to get your rep to answer an email or respond to a phone message. Finally giving up and moving on to somewhere else.
This was 1st. Foray into parts C & D being new to Medicare, I had spoken with a couple of other Insurance Brokers, never could get straight answers, I called and was connected with David Davis, He took time to go through all my Meds, and Checked to make sure all my Dr.s were in the plan I chose.I cannot say Good enough words for his help, there's only 1 negative, the later in Enrollment period, it takes persistence to get back in touch, I suggest leaving a Voicemail then continue to reach them by calling do not wait for callbacks but I can't imagine the amount of calls they receive during this time Period. Again I Highly recommend David at EHealth.
One word superlative!Jack N has helped me he has forgotten More than most people know about health coverage products as a whole.Jack deserves significant monetary recognition please see he gets it thank you Pat Palazzolo member for yrs
Whatever you do. don't give them your phone number unless you want 50 calls a day from different area codes. Block block block and they just won't stop.
I liked that the additional plan that I chose does have good benefits and seems to be a good one. However the sales representative who talked me into it was not thorough. He said that I could receive $60 worth of free groceries. He failed to find out whether I qualify for this benefit. Only individuals with certain chronic health conditions qualify for this benefit. I only learned this today, a week after he enrolled me, by reading the details of the plan. I told him more than once that overall am very healthy and have NO major health conditions. He should not have pushed that benefit and told me that I would be able to receive those $60 worth of free groceries.
Doing business with ehealth insurance helps keep our life simple. And dealing with medical insurance sometimes can be a challenge. Mr. Edwards makes it so easy for us when we need to change our supplemental insurance. I call and leave him a message and returns my call. Mr. Edwards always explains things so we can understand it. I would recommend this company to anyone that is looking for insurance.
Was offered and interview via 3rd party. Interview went excellent. Had already obtained my license. Was told I would be hearing about getting my equipment and start date within 24-48 hours. Only to be told in 72 hours that they were going in another direction. Wasted an hour and a half interviewing for what? & no source of information on why it changed. Dont get someone’s hopes up in this economy that they have employment if they don’t.
Steffen Saffron assisted both me and my husband enroll in Medicare. Our situations were different and he was expert at explaining rationales and differences in our plans. He was patient and personable and offered to help us navigate through the options as we set up our respective plans. Thank you so much for the help we received. We doubt that we could have done this so easily on our own!
I can’t say enough how happy I have been these last few years purchasing through eHealth’s marketplace. The website is so user-friendly, and it’s always fun to see what my best options are every 6 months. (seriously, I actually enjoy it.) Fees are understandable. It has been top-notch service since day one, and I’m grateful for what they built and continue building. -Joel Hubert
My insurance expert was so engaging! Mr.Curtis is a character like myself. He kept me laughing while he took his time and researched plans to ensure I received the best benefits for my particular needs. He was patient with me and answered all of my questions. He explained each benefit of my plan and ensured that I knew what I was entitled to. I had a wonderful time speaking with him....wow, I can't believe I said that about a telemarketer but, truth is truth!
I was referred to e-health via a spam call (one of dozens every day). I would NEVER deal with a company that uses random phone calls, beginning at 6 a.m., to generate leads for their business. e-health should consider ETHICAL methods of marketing without bombarding people with unwanted, unsolicited phone calls from India.
No!!! Be very careful with this company. The insurance agents are not experienced - they’re sitting in a call center wearing sweatpants - and they do not offer all the plans in an area. Incorrect information, hard sales pitches. Good luck finding the “advisor” if you have a problem after the sale. They sell lots of policies using misleading advertisements, usually claiming it was from a partner and “we didn’t know”.
Good experience, it just took a little while to find out my answer. A email was sent using industry language that I did not know what was being asked for. Possibly word the requests in layman's terms so that it can easily understood. Basically I was being asked for letter stating why I was losing my insurance. The email asked for some industry form that i had no clue what it meant. Two chats and a call to help line cleared it up though.
We had a excellent experience with eHealth Insurance. They were very knowledgeable about each products offer and help narrow down the search for Health Insurance plans. Were able to answers all of our questions and give advice to help us pick out the right plan for us.
Your representative was totally an expert in this field. I learned more in an hour than I ever knew about medical insurance. He very carefully went through my insurance plan and left me with confidence that my plan was truly built for me.
A special thanks to Natalie. She was very polite, helpful and patient. She explained to me all the details I would like to know about the blue shield policy I was interested in. She was very professional and made the enrollment for me very easy. I am glad I went through eHealth to enroll in my new policy. I will share my good experience with all my friends and family.
It was pretty fast process and the chat agents were really quickly to connect. I obtained new information from customer service which was amazing. The only issue I wished could have been better was to send out the application to the provider right there and then. Some providers have a specific effective date and it sucks when you are trying to communicate with them but the application is still pending to be sent.
Please run from this company. They prey on the elderly. I walked into my eighty-five year old Dad’s house as he was answering questions to what he thought was his insurance company. They are frauds and their sales representative Christopher Suida should be fired. My Dad told them several times that he was eighty-five and did not understand their questions. When I got on the phone Mr. Suida was indignant that I had interrupted his call.
I had a problem with the email setup issue when I apply for health insurance, but their staff was trying to find my account hardly and they found in a couple days and helped to reopen my account to set up correctly. Its customer representative workers are working so hard to customers satisfy. I was really happy with them.

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
