dnb.no Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives dnb.no one of the higher trust scores on the platform: 84.7. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same results. So, why this score? We came up with the 84.7 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to dnb.no's industry. The algorithm detected little high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, as noted in the Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure. tags above. Long story short, we deem this a secure website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning dnb.no, let's look closer at the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between dnb.no and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of dnb.no. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of dnb.no, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. dnb.no is an authentic, safe website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether dnb.no has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether dnb.no boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, dnb.no.

The worst internet banking I have ever used.
My experience with DnB is all, just good. I do have DNB as bank with a lot of good experience. They have good kind of service and many different ways to give their customers an good way to see them. If there are any problems with your transactions, they are there to help you, and they are good in that work they have been working with. By talking for myself, that i gladly could say, i have no form for bad experience with the bank, DNB is a such good bank with, many years of experience behind.
Poor fkn service!! I'm filming abroad and they blocked my card without warning me or giving me an option to do anything so now I'm stuck abroad without the option to use my card!!Called service and was thrown around to at least 7 customer support only for the last one to hang up on me basically wasting 1½hrs and put the production behind schedule.Legitimately worst bank and service I ever had in the different countries I've lived in. Stay far from this sorry excuse of a "bank" run by a bot powered by a potato.
Their online bank (desktop) and app (mobile) are equally useless and broken. This is ridiculous because they bought Sbanken for billions which had excellent online bank and app, but DNB threw it all away and now tries to force all their customers on their garbage outdated platform.
Bought a company i was manager for and wanted to transfer bank account ownership to me so that i could pay bills. I have been chasing them up for 5 months and they still haven’t transferred it to me. I have inkasso bills but they don’t seem to care. Absolutely ridiculous customer service.
What DNB did to SBanken is insane, by shut down the webpage service with just using an app that they themselves are totally not ready to provide similar services like web based services. For weeks now that many services functions are still missing and they just take their own sweet time still.
Been a customer for more than 5 years, i will leave aside complains about how "fast " processes and services were. But today i got denied their service because apparently i am not as long enough resident (in false premises also)(even though fulfilling the economic criteria, egenkapital and etc). Polite racism much? I thought i was living in 2023 in Norway. Apparently not.
As many have pointed out customer service is bad. Their response to emails are almost laughable, as if a teenager is pretending to be a bank consultant. Absolutely no overview of payments and surplus “magically” disappears. If you don’t count the amounts yourself, beware. Just untrustworthy and unserious.
Never had any problems with DNB. A bit simple and outdated design of the webpage, modern and user-friendly mobile apps (bank and spare). Sometimes slow and a bit buggy, but work OK. For 10 years being their client, I almost haven't needed to go to their office or actively engage with the client support.
This bank has outrageous charges and fees and they have no good reasons for it. Customer service is often slow, disrespectful, and won't always reply with a good answer. Their interface is messy and difficult to use. It's slow and outdated. The management is incompetent and only seems to care about profit over people. Their credit cards are a joke with their unreasonable sky high interests. Not recommended.
Bank services are unbelievably poor especially if you are an international customer. They don’t provide assistance and simply tell you that “you can do it online”. When you call customer service on 04800 no one speaks good English even if you press option 9 for English. Staff are terribly rude and borderline racist/discriminatory. Not impressed at all. DnB should not offer English services if they and their staff are not willing to follow through!!
I honestly never haven’t had any Worse experience than DNB, customer service is so terrible that i really feel sorry for their employees. First of all - transactions between 10 - 25 000 kr in my personal account had been suspected as money laundering case - there for they have requested everything starting from my Binance Wallet ID till offshore bank statements which i bet is completely over privacy policies. And over all of that - they are so slow with reply’s + understanding customer needs.I never would suggest this bank to anyone as in Privat / company
you will be lucky if after contacting many times you come across someone who can at least give you some advice on your problem
DNB is a bank run by whoresons. There is no customer service. They just have someone greet you at any of the three banks with actual humans there, and they just tell you to go online for all issues. You can't close an account unless you call them. Why is everything online with the exception of closing an account. This is place is a scam and should be investigated by NIS further, besides the money laundering scams they were caught doing in 2020.
Don't bother, this is NOT a good bank. They lack all the basics, or rather they removed all the basics. Nothing about this bank is positive, they are expensive and they think robots can replace real people. Look at their chat "system", and look at their prices, then you will discover their "service".
DNB lost it completely: no local offices, 30 minutes waiting before they pick up the phone, not possible to use digital bank ID, arrogant bank people that change their rules every time. DNB is not a bank for normal people. DNB is horrible, we moved all our money out and closed our accounts.
The worst experience ever! I have been their Client for about 2 years. They never admitted their mistakes and neither replied nor apologized after my written complain in 13 months. Luckily many others are leaving same kind of feedback.
DnB is using it's market power to squash competition and makes it very difficult/expensive for customers to move assets (at least stocks). Moving my assets from DnB has taken several months and cost me many thousand kr, should be illegal.
I think it is important to point out that I was a costumer for DnB (Den norske Bank), for more than 25 years. I can say with certainty that the bank, the company and the people has changed drastically over the years. DnB is in no way the 'peoples bank' anymore. The actions and greed has tipped the company over to the sadistic. Any organization that turns sadistic in it's processes and actions, have peaked.DnB is heading downwards and with face first. It's glory days are over and they are showing signs of desperation. If you are considering using them, I would do research and find another more humane bank not connected to them. Remember that many banks are under same umbrella, choose wisely.Costumers have already started to flee out of their services, choosing better and cheaper options.
Worst experience ever. Somehow all my payments are late (they were not), they charge service fee's every month just so you are able to pay, and sneak in hidden payments of "låneskyddsförsäkring" that I never asked for. Avoid this company. I hope the relevant authorities take a good look at the company and make sure they comply with consumer protection.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies this service works and is trustworthy. It costs only $6.49/month but is worth the cost. U.S., UK, EU, Swiss, and Canadian residents only. Click below.
