Is damensein.com Legit?

I would give minus stars if I could, I ordered some lingerie and when it turned up it was laughable, absolute cheap crap, I should have known as it was cheap £. Do not order from this site, pay a bit more and get something better quality.

Just dreadful. Wish I'd looked at reviews before buying - it's cheap and nasty, as if they've stolen catalogue pictures from somewhere legitimate and are making copies. Nothing like photos and impossible to return. I was told I couldn't return an item as I'd bought it on offer price, 6 weeks later still missing an item. Logged on today to find it out of stock. Haven't been contacted or refunded. Emailed them about it today but not holding my breath. Keep well away - 'buyer beware'!

I nearly bought clothes from Helolinen. Something made me check the reviews first as the discount offered didint seem right ; and found out it belongs to Damensein. Just wanted to warn others as there are multiple ads on Facebook; especially if you're looking to buy autumn/ winter clothes. Very misleading with no clear return policy mentioned.

Like everyone else, I wish had had read the reviews before placing an order. Leather shoes were plastic shoes, size 7 was size 8.For cotton top I received a very shoddy polyester top,wrong size and for a person without shoulders.Trousers sized XL, would fit a malnourished child, am still awaiting without hope further items. Upon complaining they have requested photo of whole package including clear tracking number, photo of WP in the outside package and the item inside, photo of the recognisable size, colour and designer's name.

WARNING FAKE stay clear! Do not waste your money. There is a (growing) list of fake shops on Facebook support group ‘Achtung - China Fake Shops’ The group is from Germany (translation available) just ask them for the list before buying from off the internet. Damensein is on that list. There are many checks you can carry out to see if the internet retailer is genuine before purchasing DON’T GET SCAMMED

I wish I'd read these reviews before ordering in November 2020. Like so many other before us, we found the website plausible, the product imagery attractive and their prices more so. Never again. Slow delivery, disappointing goods' quality, non-delivery of one item, and a broken promise (seemingly) in PayPal Resolution Centre to refund. Steer clear. Regret being unable to give "0" star. Oh I wish I had read these reviews before I ordered 🤬exactly the same problem, clothes didn't fit returned them to China paid £20 to return them via Royal Mail track and trace, then after 1 month gets an email saying some nonsense about 180 days regarding the refund, what???? and telling me to use PayPal but it will cost 4.4% to complete the transaction. Well I don't use PayPal, there crap as well, so if anyone is thinking of buying from this thieving, inept, useless, shambolic company, don't!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Avoid them like we tried to when they gave the country coronvirus.

I ordered several items 4/12/20, two items missing continually told they were due, never appeared, promised a refund- never happened. Most items were not the colour/fabric advertised. Company couldn’t care less. I received your generic response 21st May 2021 -pathetic and strangely enough I have been going around in circles unable to further respond. Here’s the information you have asked for. HBTXB00012772 never received balance of order placed 4th Dec 2020, £13.97 + £16.06 = £30.03 you said you would credit my card within 3-7 days prior to my initial complaint months ago- STILL WAITING.

Just to say to everyone, these people appear under various different names, in my case Airydress, and appear as ads down the side of whatever you happen to be viewing online. The goods are always spectacularly inferior to the pictured item! However, please do not cave in to their expectations by 'not bothering' to pursue a refund. If like me, you paid through Paypal then you can open a case and you will eventually be refunded. Do NOT return the items, (assuming you can work out how to), or you will never see your hard earned money again! These people are totally unscrupulous and hopefully do not sleep well at night! PLEASE do not buy from this company (would have given “nil” stars if possible). The name of the company suggests it is European but it is in fact Chinese and the clothes are of extremely poor quality. Unfortunately I read the reviews too late but luckily only lost £20. I also believe that they sell your email address to other cheap outlets in China as I am now bombarded by unsolicited emails trying to flog equally crappy clothes.

I have lost £197 to this bunch-exact same complaints as others- nothing fits- didn't get correct items and quality shocking.Can't get returns labels- nothing.WHY ISN'T THERE A BODY TO CLOSE DOWN THESE THIEVES-THEY SHOULDN'T B ALLOWED ON- LINE.DO NOT entertain these thieves.

You think you getting a deal - dont be fooled!Awful, poor quality, ordered 5 items. 2 came over a month after the order was placed, 3rd item another month later - all extremely poor quality more so not as picture shows. And finally refunded for the final 2 items but only by the assistance of paypal!!

Ordered 2 things, got email saying smaller item on way, never arrived. Other item was apparently waiting to be shipped, told them didn't want anymore. Got refund on item I cancelled but they refused refund on item they said they had sent even though never received. I didn't realise at time that it was a Chinese company until through checkout because I would have avoided. A scam ,do not go near.l

I'd give zero stars if possible. Site is a total scam; clothes they send bear no resemblance at all to pictured items online and are ugly and of extremely low quality. Returns system is similarly a scam - directs returns which are never acknowledged to arrive to a post-box fake address in an industrial clothing district in China. Avoid at all costs - wish I'd checked the company on Trustpilot before I made my purchase. An expensive mistake.

If I could give 0 stars I would! Absolute rip-off company, items ordered look nothing like the advertised photos and aren't even made from the alleged wool the website claims is used! The actual product I received is not wool, it's a nasty cheap synthetic polyester with what looks like carpet material on the cuffs. I can't even claim for a refund as the products are 'final sale'. Will not be buying from here again! Utter rip-off site, total con artists. 0 out of 10, do not recommend!

Yep, me too! Should have read the reviews before buying! Poor quality clothes, poor sizing and spent £20 to send some items back to China only to have them returned to me unopened. Now the service office just keep sending my complaint around the office and sending me another returns label, to China!!They obviously expect you will just give up and go away. I won't and would ask anyone else who falls for their scam to keep the pressure up for a satisfactory outcome.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS: Clothing - is nothing like the appearance on the website! Sizing - doesn't exist in any format this is just a letter for convenience! Oops I got caught too. My lady didn't check the reviews and I just handed over the credit card. Item was not correct size. That would be ok for Asos or Very with easy returns but THEN I find they are in Guangzhou, China. "customer is responsible for return shipping cost and any other related return charges (including possible custom fees)" It would cost too much send it back and would take ages.

I ordered a second lot of autumn clothes after successfully receiving some summer clothes. One item did not arrived. The order was made on the 10th October 2020. The first time I enquired on 1st November about the item, I was advised it would be with me 10-14 days later, it did not arrive. I have sent emails with clear information three times and heard nothing since. I am very disappointed with Damensein, will not use them again and can see now why they get such negative reviews.

Do not give this company your money. They sent me a top that was completely different visually from the one on the website. The second item I was returning had a 100'/, cotton label on it but was stretch and clearly synthetic. After giving me lengthy instructions to follow to get a refund, they closed the appeals process as though I hadn't replied. Value
