coolstuffinc.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives coolstuffinc.com a medium trust score on the platform: 51.7. It signals that the business can best be defined by the following tags: Questionable. Minimal Doubts. Controversial.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 51.7 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to coolstuffinc.com's industry. The algorithm detected possible high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Questionable. Minimal Doubts. Controversial. tags above. Long story short, we recommend using caution when using this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning coolstuffinc.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between coolstuffinc.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of coolstuffinc.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of coolstuffinc.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. coolstuffinc.com is a dubious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether coolstuffinc.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether coolstuffinc.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, coolstuffinc.com.

Package didn't arrived but they gave me a cupon for the amount spend.
Have bought from Coolstuffinc.com several times. Always quick and excellent service, when something happens they 39 of 40 times contacts you. It is usually no problems what so ever and they even have a discount program you can build up under. 5% on most products, and 15% discount on Singles, order $100 of boardgames and you get free shipping. One of my best companies to buy from. Special magic lots is the only thing that is somewhat priced to high.
package did not show up at first but after only a few minutes of phone call the issue was fixed, i was sent more cards and i was given a tracking number (i chose the 99 cent singles option on shipping, which didn't include a tracking number). i will shop here again but i will have to choose a better shipping option.
Have been dealing with them for several years, to the tune of nearly $3K. Never had a problem.Even when I annoyingly requested for them to add items to orders I've already placed. They've always promptly replied and accommodated my requests.
After a slight mix-up with my Swedish address I submitted with them accidentally leaving out the ''ä'' and putting a regular ''a'' instead which almost resulted in the Swedish postal service not being able to deliver it at all, I have finally received my order yesterday and god am I satisfied with it. They double wrapped and packaged it upon my personal request, and the cards were in the exact condition I ordered them in. I am extremely satisfied with their services and I will most certainly be placing more orders with them in the foreseeable future. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers. Stay awesome!
They stole my credit card details and started buying Apple vouchers. This was confirmed by my Banks fraud department after they locked my account for curious spending practices. Luckily for me they Bank was quick off the mark, but they still managed to buy over $1000 of apple vouchers.
If I could give no stars I would! Order has not arrived almost a month on, money taken as I placed order, correspondence has been awful, given a tracking number which says to contact seller which other than emailI can not do, have emailed numerous times but to no avail.. I’m now going to have to look at ways to try and recover my money. I would avoid this website!!
Ordered a bunch of cards worth $500. They didn't ship it with any individuel protection. No sleeves on the cards. The cards were all damaged while they sold them as Near Mint. The cards were also bent. All of them. Never ever order with these guys. They are extremely unprofessional. No responses to my email complaints either. Just a horrible experience! Avoid them!
Delivery never arrived. When you call them, you get a recorded message which refers you (in Swedish and English) to the FAQ, then hangs up. They answer emails after 2 days. They did offer to re-send the items, but as they proposed to use the same inefficient delivery service (UK Mail, whose number also hangs up on you), it seemed best to get a refund - which Coolstuff did process quite quickly. Extremely poor customer experience: 10 years of online shopping, and this is only the 2nd time that order did not turn up. The 5-star reviews here really are at odds with my experience.
This place is a joke. So is the wannabe owner. They always respond negatively to everyone's legitimate review. No compassion for the customer at all. Cool Stuff is only concerned with how much money that they can rape you out of. All the while selling mediocre merchandise. Never again will I shop there. Game Stop is much better.
Having read some of the reviews I was a bit apprehensive about using this site, however it was the only company that had the product in stock. However I've had a really positive experience, quick delivery and kept informed by email communication.
Had two iDigit remote waterproof thermometers from this company, and second one also failed - with no online support available. The CoolStuff site is also suspect: it fails to execute searches. So I now suspect that it's one of those companies that should not exist.
After many positive experiences with cool stuff inc I purchased a HP legends rare was sent a damage legends rare and was told that HP photo was a stock HP photo very deceptive. Like their photos dont trust coolstuffinc.
Ordered a bunch of games for gifts, all my orders were canceled, because they wanted people to buy large orders for free shipping, not pay shipping like I did. This is the last place I will order from as I have had other issues in past but this one really made me mad as their customer service
I’ve ordered and paid. sent e-mails. I got a weird tracking number which has +-60 digits. I tried to track goods but tracking number were incorrect. I queried the tracking number and no feedback were sent. Then I’ve asked for tracking on my order number but still no feedback. There is no contact details accept the email correspondences.
Excellent company!Have ordered from them many times; never had a problem and the goods were always shipped very fast :)
I had ordered a cup that said heat activated. It didn’t activate and I suspect it’s a fake!!! At least the product came to you but regardless of what the name said, you will not get what you order, trust me. Or you’ll get something similar but it’s probably fake and not the real deal. They just want you to spend money, so will write whatever the product’s real name but send you a fake one. I’m disappointed and I suggest NEVER buying from them or else’s you’ll regret it big time :(
They delivered my parcel to the wrong address and I still haven't got my parcel. The customer service line kept me on hold until they closed the office at 4pm with no response. Do not order from here. I haven't received a refund because they won't respond to any emails or pick up the phone
I ordered this product six weeks before Christmas. However, it is four days before Christmas and the package still hasnt arrived. It has already been paid for. The company is not answering my emails. I will be left without Christmas presents and there is also no refund in sight. This is unacceptable!
Never received my package and they first had my item on hold then they sent it to fedex as a mail carrier was their first mistake. Secondly I gave them my postal P.O. Box and fed ex used my home address instead. I needed to file a claim but I cannot get in touch with cool stuff inc for 2 weeks now and counting. Numerous emails and voicemails was sent to their business but no response and I spent close to a 1000.00!! Just gone!! Warning to everyone about this place of business! Go buy from somewhere else!!!

“Terrible Customer Service”

Ordered a bunch of games for gifts, all my orders were canceled, because they wanted people to buy large orders for free shipping, not pay shipping like I did. This is the last place I will order from as I have had other issues in past but this one really made me mad as their customer service

“Not Trustworthy”

I sold them cards via their buylist, and about half of them were rejected as "too damaged" when they were all 100% Near Mint. The other half were marked down in price because they were deemed a played or damaged when they are actually Near Mint. To get my items back, they charge you $2.77 for shipping or you can make an order and get them for free. I ordered two near mint cards, and low and behold, the cards that arrived were not near mint (heavily played).

“Customer for 15 years, will no longer be using this site”

I love TCGs, board games, and that entire space. I rarely review anything negatively and usually just take the hits as they come, but my latest experience with this company has completely soured my experience and prompted this review. Over the course of 15 years I've spent almost $30k on CSI. $30,000. This place was my go-to for almost everything. I've bought tons of board games from this site even when cheaper options were available in order to support them. I've bought singles I could have bought from Ebay or TCGPlayer for lower prices. I've also recommended this place to as many people in my board gaming and card gaming community. If I order an item or items and that order is cancelled by the company, I fully understand and accept that the company has every right to do so for whatever reason they deem valid. What I do not expect is that I am not notified of this change in any email or notification. I do not expect that I only receive a refund for this order after I have reached out to support about the missing order. I also do not expect to be told by support that it should not come as a surprise to me that this happened. What kind of business cancels an order worth over $1000+ and does not convey this information to the buyer, or issue the refund at the time of cancellation, or give any indication that a refund is coming at the time of cancellation for over a month after the order has been placed because, and I quote exactly from a support email: "other customer issues have higher priority" and expect them to not be surprised when that customer finds out on their own that this has happened? I can no longer in good faith recommend this company to anyone and I will no longer be using this site or company for anything. Tip for consumers:Don't use it Products used:Board games, cards, card supplies Service Value Shipping

“Great place to buy cards”

I have bought cards and sealed product multiple times. Only ever had one slip up on a card being shipped had a timely refund to problems here would give a ten if I could Tip for consumers:Call them great people Products used:All Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Not Trustworthy”

Not Trustworthy "I bought about 20 MTG cards that were listed as NEAR MINT FOIL. About half of them were HEAVILY PLAYED or DAMAGED. Very disappointed. I wont be buying any more items from this untrustworthy source."

“Love this company”

Love this company. Great prices with a customer loyalty program that lowers prices every time you place an order. They ship quickly, too.

“Frustrated and disappointed”

After years of orders from this company, their latest customer service and shipping has left me disappointed.

“Never got anything”

Never got anything Not the money or the stuff/ Buying is at your own risk

“Do NOT do business here”

I purchased a card from this company for $30. It arrived and was put in a sleeve and binder. Later I purchased a card from another vendor that had been fake. Deciding to test the cards of high monetary value under a black light, I checked to find the inking was much darker and lacking the phosphorescent quality used by WotC. I sent out an email asking me to send it back via standard shipping. Upon doing so, I also inquired why all my packages have been doubled or tripled up in the same envelope. My friend had the same issue with this. Once this happened, they investigated to find they had taken $10 worth of shipping this way, but could only authorize to put it on store credit in the form of a gift certificate, which I reluctantly accepted. 2 days later, I received an email about the card. I want to say, I mailed this in one of the priority mail USPS Priority mail stiff envelopes, in a penny sleeve with a top loader inside of a standard envelope. They told me the card was creased and I was not allowed a refund, conveniently after pricing has changed on this quite a bit. I was then told the rep, Chris, would go ask and examine the envelope and card for damage and photographs. He came back telling me it was in just an envelope, to which I called him out on, then he said the toploaders still allow cards to be damaged. I told him, if it's creased inside a toploader the envelope you saw should have been damaged too. I then pointed out how suspicious it was that I recently caught them skimming on shipping, had been sold a questionable card, returned it damaged for inspection, and that I was to now believe it was damaged in hard plastic with no visible damage to the envelope? When I asked about the card itself, he said he didn't personally see the damage, then stated the woman who handles returns took a day off, as well as that he could not find the card and "Maybe she's already mailed it back to you, I don't know." I told him this gets even better now as my possibly fake card that I purchased from them is now damaged and missing, he can't show the damage when questioned, and if it is found, I'm going to take the hit for this, despite it not being used upon me receiving it. He stated he was the only person and it wasn't a call center and that I had the wrong impression. I argued that it's irrelevant and I was told if I have nothing else to say, he'll talk to her but he needs to go because he has other customers to talk to. Do NOT buy from these people. Stealing shipping, reports of false "damage", counterfeit issues, missing products, I don't think there's much more to say to their credibility than that. Reported to BBB.

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
