converse.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives converse.com a fairly high trust score on the platform: 80.9. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Fair. Valid. Known.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 80.9 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to converse.com's industry. The algorithm detected a low risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Fair. Valid. Known. tags above. Long story short, we deemed this a known website, with a low scam probability. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning converse.com, let's look closer at the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between converse.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of converse.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of converse.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. converse.com is an innocuous suspicious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether converse.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether converse.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, converse.com.

“Defective shoes and bad customer service”

I do not recommend Converse products due to the unpleasant experience I had with their products. I ordered 2 pairs of Converse from two different websites, Zalandos and Converse, and both arrived defective with excess glue or unglued, with deformed material. Unfortunately, the customer service is not up to the standards of this famous brand. Unfortunately, money matters more and not the quality of the services offered. They have no respect for customers. I am very disappointed with them and their approach and will not buy their products again for any of my family members. I will let know to all my friends about this bad experience. Products used:none because they come defective Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Customer service doesn't serve customers”

You know those companies that go out of their way to make a happy customer? Converse is 100% not one of them. I'm a financially insecure disabled vet, gifted a pair of brand new, classic Chuck Taylor All-Stars. I saw they offer wide sizes on their website, which would fit my sturdy base. For a huge company with a giant stock of shoes, an even exchange wouldn't hurt anyone, it'd make me happy, and keep me as a customer in the future. Sounds great, right? Nope! Not to Converse... Since I didn't purchase from their website, they won't do an even exchange. Crazy they'd rather lose a customer for life than simply do an exchange. Products used:Chuck Taylor All-Stars Service

“Converse = bastards”

My shoes started falling apart after a few months. I made a warranty claim and they rejected it for no reason. I filed a complaint with the better business bureau and converse never bothered to respond so the case was closed without resolution. Products used:converse shoes Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“My experience with the Converse brand”

I'm quite disappointed. I bought a pricey pair of Converse shoes three months ago for my daughter, and they've already started to tear from the side. They should make it clear to the customers that these shoes may only last up to three months. When you reach out to the customer service their reply would be "We are sorry the shoes do not qualify for a warranty for flaws in the manufacture.".

“Incomplete Order received and no feedback”

I ordered 4 pairs of sneakers, only received 3 no explanation, no response to my follow up email and when I call, I get transferred to a number that rings till it drops. No one is attending to my query and the status of my order is "complete" on their system. Lack of communication is frustrating, assuming they don't have stock, they should refund me then. Order Number ******* Products used:Sneakers

“Converse provides misleading shipping information to avoid order cancelations”

Ordered 11/28 during Cyber Sales event. No delivery dates displayed. Checked next day, site message said "Order by 11/29 for guaranteed Delivery by Dec. 24th". Thought I was fine. Then received delivery email saying 12/19. Great news! Except I tracked the order with UPS and a label had not even ben created until 12/12, and that was in Viet Nam (where these shoes are made). By 12/21, shoes had made it to Hong Kong. Needless to say, Xmas missed, gift ruined. I would not be upset by the late delivery if Converse were simply accurate and truthful. I suspect they give "optimistic" delivery updates so that you will take receipt and then may decide not to go through return hassle. This makes them more money than if they told you upfront order would be late, so you could cancel outright. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Soles coming apart or falling off”

I have 5 pair of chuck taylors none are a year old. All of the shoes the soles are coming apart or falling off. These used to be great shoes. Called customer service and they were useless. Id like the shoes replaced not a refund.

“Absolutely terrible service”

Me and my cousin ordered custom converse august 2021 we were told that they would get sent within a month and they never sent them at all and blamed it on the shipping. It has been 2 years and they are still telling me it's the shipping. For spending so much money on these shoes I wish I were able to wear them. Don't order anything online from this company if you live in Canada or anywhere, the customer service was no help and if you are going to spend over $100 on shoes I'd spend it else where. Products used:No products were sent Service Value Shipping

“Do not buy these shoes”

Most $#*!ing uncomfortable shoes on the planet. It's like wearing a piece of paper around your foot. You Can't walk more than 2 hours without absolute agony. Do not ever wear these shoes for a day out I'm in pain xx Value Quality

“POOR QUALITY”

I am 62 years old. I have been wearing Converse All Star high tops since junior high school. My last 3 pairs Have fallen apart within one year of wearing. The sole separates or comes unglued. I used to pay $20.00 Max for a pair of these shoes that would last years. That was when I was very active playing high school sports etc. Now I pay 60.00 dollars for shoes that fall apart when I wear them casually a few times a week. Shame on Nike for moving production from the United States to China,India,Vietnam & Indonesia ruining an iconic American shoe! Needless to say, I will never buy a pair of Chuck's again. That makes me mad!

“Quick Orders but Forget Cancelling or Refunds”

I ordered shoes in the wrong size and contacted them right away after placing the order, within 30 minutes. The customer service rep said they could not cancel it, but rest assured I could return the shoes for a refund. Well, I returned the shoes and it's been two weeks since they've processed my return. I understand it's the holiday time, but my gripe is their inability to cancel an order immediately and now making me wait for my refund. How much energy was lost because they could not simply cancel an order that was placed in less than an hour? This is a Nike company, so you're telling me that their software or procedures does not allow this? They are quick to ship, so if you know exactly what you want and don't think you'll be returning items, then the site is fine. Tip for consumers:No gripe with products, only order canceling and returns Products used:Converse high tops Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Please try them out! (Honest review of someone who has worn them for up to +4 years)”

Converse come in all colors, sizes and designs, these shoes hold good comfort once broken into, If they are your everyday shoe like mine, they last 12-24 months which is wonderful, 35$ - $200 This high price is due to designers, The ones im wearing are $65, they are my favorite shoe brand due to durability, you can wear them with anything, (Including a dress) The durability of these shoes further extends to suede, leather, and cotton canvas with metal hardware. Converse are indeed vegan friendly. All of its shoes are made with non animal processed glues, inks and adhesives. In conclusion Converse are highly recommended from me to you, they are very creative and are very good skater shoes. Products used:shoe Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Wrong Size Shoes Was delivered and an Exchange was denied”

I purchased a white high-top shoes for my daughter in April. The package took quite a while to arrived. Because of work and the business of life I didn't check the package until we were getting ready to pack for vacation. While packing, I realized that I received the wrong size shoes. They send a size 8.5 instead of 7.5 I kindly asked for an exchange, but this was futile since their 30 policy has expired. Please check your package promptly, making sure you receive exactly what you've ordered, because this is a company that believes that they are right and the customer is wrong. I hope this helps Tip for consumers:none at this time Products used:White high-top Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Awful customer service”

Received a product that is not brand new/no discount or anything. Denied to replacement or partial refund. The point is not gerring refund but bad experience and waste time to do all refund/purchase/ Never shop again Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“No order number, no invoice, no email confirmation”

I ordered shoes online (without opening a Converse account,) was charged and received my shoes, but Never received an email confirmation, nor was there an invoice in my shoe box. So when the shoes were too large and I wanted to return them, I didn't have an order number to initiate a return. What's up with this? I'm currently trying to get help from customer service, but they don't seem to be able to find my account. What? Tip for consumers:Where is my invoice? Where is my confirmation email? Where is my order #? Products used:None. I want to return, but so far, it's not possible. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Over 30 days and no refund”

I sent three pair of shoes back to Converse in two shipments. They were received Dec 29,2022 and Jan 2,2023. The first pair I had to call them multiple times to get them to process a refund on Jan 17th and I haven't seen that hit my card yet. The second shipment shows it was received on Dec 29th, signed for at the warehouse, and they won't refund my money because the warehouse hasn't verified the return yet. They say the warehouse is checking on the return. So, still no refund on either a month later. Customer service is no help and tells me "this is the procedure" and have been saying that for weeks. What's my recourse? Corporate HQ has no phone number so I can't even call and lodge a complaint. I'll never buy from them again. Service Returns

“Never received order. Can't get to customer service”

Pretty horrible website. Bought a gift card to be mailed. It never showed up. When I contact customer service they just say the site is having difficulties. Same wheb trying to call. And they have gull to send out ads abd promote their broken site?! Awful.

“DON'T BUY GIFT CARDS”

I purchased gift cards from the Converse website on 12/17. Today is 2/16, and I have not received them. Converse said they are on back order. I requested to cancel the order so I can just go to a store and purchase the sneakers. They responded they can cancel the order. This is absolutely absurd! Tip for consumers:Don’t buy converse gift cards Products used:Can’t use gift card Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Refund process.”

I returned a gift item purchased for a friend for Christmas. Converse received the item 1.6.2023. Today on chat when I requested status of my refund, I was told it takes 10 days to "process the refund". Then it takes up to 10 days for me to receive my refund to my account. They debited my account the minute I hit the "place order " button and POOF….the funds were gone. They had my money immediately. Certainly my ABSOLUTE LAST purchase of ANY converse product. For real. Tip for consumers:DO NOT PURCHASE DIRECTLY FROM CONVERSE. PURCHASE RETAIL. Products used:Shoes

“Rusty nail”

I love the shoe it's really cute but for the past week there was something poking the back of my ankle and I just got to see it and there was a rusty nail underneath of the foot padding inside of the shoe I don't know if it was supposed to be there or what but I don't know.

“All Star.”

I love the classic Converse Chuck Taylor All Star sneakers. Mostly because they are very universal. I think I wore them with everything in my life, with jeans, with sweatpants. I even wore them with a suit once at a wedding lol.

“Too disappointing”

This is to disappointing! After waiting more than a month for my order, I received yesterday an email from you saying "your converse return has been completed". I didn't ask for it. I've called you this morning and you said that it was UPS fault because the order went to a storage in Maia and no one told me. I've called ups then and they said it's your fault because I NEVER received and email form them. Converse didn't put my email address. I nor even knew that the company was UPS. Never received anything from them because converse didn't informed them about my email address. Conclusion: I LOST MY ORDER AND NO ONE ASSUME THE RESPONSIBILITY AND THE RESPONSIBILITY IS YOUR: converse How can you solve this situation? Thanks in advance Service Value Shipping Returns

“No Delivery”

Ordered a pair of shoes for granddaughter. Waited for shoes to ship. When checking tracking info, see that package was delivered to a UPS Access Point. No notification to me or anything. Converse does it care that order was not delivered to me…said once it leaves then it is UPS responsibility. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Never ordered before that package was shipped to someplace other than me and no knowledge of delivery! Service Value Shipping

“Refund Policy is a joke”

I received a pair of Converse shoes as a gift for Christmas and wanted to return them as they are not my style and I cannot wear shoes with no arch support. I had no idea where these were originally purchased and did not want to alert the gift giver that I was not thrilled with them, so I contacted Converse as the manufacturer. I chatted with an agent that was perfectly pleasant only to find out they cannot do returns without a receipt or order number. Additionally, they can only refund to the original payment method. When asked what they do for gift returns, she gave me no alternative and when I stated I was unable to get the receipt or order number, she told me they were unable to process a return as they don't know that the shoes were purchased from the website. They're brand new Converse shoes, how can I not return them to the manufacturer for store credit at the very least. I was very willing to take whatever lowest price they had been at, which is typical of no receipt returns to other stores, but I was provided zero options. I will not be shopping at Converse ever due to this ridiculous policy. Tip for consumers:Their actual refund policy is only 45 days in-store, 60 online - only if you have the receipt or order number. Any other version of a return is not accepted. Products used:None, the shoes are not usable by me. Service Value Returns Quality

“Great shoes”

I ordered a pair of black high tops for my granddaughter for school. They arrived in less than a week. The shoes fit great and my granddaughter loves them. I will order again from Converse. Great shoes! Tip for consumers:Order 1/2 size larger Products used:Shoes Service Value Shipping Quality

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
