The algorithm detected a low risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Standard. Valid. Common. tags above. Long story short, this site's trust score still warrants a little caution. Use common sense when using this website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning connectnetwork.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between connectnetwork.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of connectnetwork.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of connectnetwork.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. connectnetwork.com is a likely trustworthy website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether connectnetwork.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether connectnetwork.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, connectnetwork.com.

They are no help with refunds or if their system causes an error. There was a data breach but they never notified me i only found out after the deadline for litigation. I imagine another lawsuit will arise and im looking out for it. I would advise using their services if you can. Pressure your local politicians to crack down on these jail services that not only rip people off but do not comply with data protection laws.
First off your automatize system, blocked me out frrom depositing money to my sister account for 10 days at A time. You guys shouldn't extend A service you can't fore fill. I wouldn't be giving 1 star for poor customer service. Someone needs y'all contract. I ask to escalate my problem and was told, there isn't nothing I can do but wait are drive to Galveston Tx. to make A deposit
Unfortunately a corrupt company. Debited amounts from credit cards but not credited to the account. That's another way to rip off customers. An absolutely dubious company.
Gtl ( Viapath) took over from Jpay last year and since I have had nothing but problems.I can't send photos with my niece to one facility but can to another There is no hard and fast rule, they blame the mail room the mail room blame them. It's very frustrating and when the photos get denied you never get a refundThe service is glitchy, the sooner they go bankrupt the better
You need to seriously consider training your representatives Isaiah on how to take phone calls. When you train your employees to take a two-minute your destined for failure... T hat's called micro-managing. It takes at least 3 to 5 minutes to assist and to make sure your employees are given accurate and correct directions on how to use your service.
Their “getting out” and “go visits” apps areConfusing and difficult to navigate (not to mention poorly named) Supposedly they are transitioning from one program to another or something. But for now its confusing and fu$&@d up! But we’re stuck because thats what the facility uses and we have no choice. And its expensive. Figure it out GTL!
Horrible Customer Service, No Skills on dealing with the public at all! They lack integrity very unprofessional, the supervisor's attitudes are worse than the Customer Service agents. I see why the agents act in such a way, just look at the leadership. Attitude reflects leadership and it shows. We should all come together to file another Class Action Lawsuit. We spend our money with this company and they're allowing this Unethical Behavior. They feel because they're a company that is providing services for inmates that this behavior is okay. Well it's not. Our loved ones deserves better, they still have rights and so do we. Ceasar Attitude is bad, I can't believe he's a supervisor ID# 1312466 and Ben isn't any better ID# 1314038 this is absolutely ridiculous. This company declined my card and had the audacity to tell me because I tried to use the card multiple times and they declined it, that I'm not able to send money to my loved one for 9 days. How absurd is that? I'll be looking into further complaints and we need to write to every facility they provide Service to and complaint. They need to remove them.
Declines payments without no explanation and the customer service representatives don't know what's going on. They just there to give you excuses, I see why they get sued so much. Keep customer service in the US I'm sorry
Terrible service.. My husband is in prison at kingman Arizona cerbat unit with a adc# and they do not except connect network GTL ..they use ic solutions and i called and email gtl for refund !!! No response and gave me diffrent numbers to call and supposedly i finally got the right number then no answer and said service was bad and hung up!?!?! Still no refund of $50 very unhappy
I cannot get ANYONE to help me at either getting out or connect network. I put $ on a “trust fund” that apparently my son doesn’t even have access to. Even tho PIN debit is available at the facility and for my son, it doesn’t work on the website or app for me. I’ve put $ on a friends and family account for phone calls and video visits, but when my son calls, the phone says I don’t have any $ even tho when I log in and check my account, the site states I have $. I’ve spoken with customer service 3 times, plus sent emails. One rep actually said maybe I could get a friend family member to help me. The problem is not with my skills but their system. They are rude and not helpful at all.
Horrible, I try to write text messages at the full 1500 character limit, because they are .25 cents each. THEY never get approved and get stuck in pending for weeks. However, if you write a shorter message around 800 characters, it gets approved within seconds. Photos take forever also. I did call and they pushed about $5 worth of messages pending thru, but then the process starts again when I am just trying to save money by writing as much as possible. Since then, I have switched to textBehind, so much better!!! I can write longer messages, attach up to quite a few photos and it's only $1.25. I like to write long letters so it's perfect, and gets sent within about 20 hours and the inmates get it EVERY SINGLE TIME! GTL can suck dirt, they are crooks and profiteering off of inmates and poor families of inmates, and they don't care! Switch to textBehind people, they even work with facilities that don't have it under contract, but they are taking over cause GTL is lousy and prisons are losing money, they get a cut of the money, stop using GTL, boycott them and the prisons will drop their contracts!! Vote with your money people! Atrocious customer service, rude employees, and crooks, they should go to prison for what they are doing, I am also calling my Senator and Congeessman, this is ridiculous.
Called GTL several times to obtain video call help info. Today I stayed on the call rotating through all the prompts for about 40mins or more. This is not including the hold time for a rep to answer. Once a rep connected to the call, I answered all questions completely and accurately only for the first reply not to be able to help. He transferred me to another rep. After being on hold for 25MINS, I reverified all of my info again, she states that she wants me to write down instructions on how to verify account for video calls, because she cannot be on the phone as I tried to verify account while she was on the line. So, I asked does GTL have a tech/web support department she stated no we do not. I am no closer to seeing my loved one via video chat and I have done everything the correct way. It appears that GTL does not want the inmates to communicate with their families and customer service is totally unwilling to help. If I could give a rating of one point of a star I definitely would. Shame on GTL for the way they treat the families of inmates that can't make a trip to see them in person.
I've tried for months with numerous request for a refund of my account and GTL will not even return my emails.
your customer service is awful and your call time is too takes up to 30 minutes if you are Lucky and when you do connect they are not friendly at all and they do not try to solve the problem you really need to improve the over all of this program it's ridiculous

“These people take advantage of the Vulnerable”
This "company " is ridiculous. They train their employees to NOT HELP. I dont know if they are jist taking advantage because they know we have to use this company to interact with our incarcerated loved ones/ but because of this factor I believe that the founder of this company cannot be anything less than a piss of $**t. They blantly steal from customers. I literally had $5 bucks on one of my numbers that im no longer using. All I wanted was a darn refund so I could load it to my new number. These heathens wanna send a CHECK for $4.97! And their excuse was there is no card on file! Such a lie. I have my card stored to the account and thats how i make my payments. Then none of the reps there care enough to try and figure out the proper way to get it done.! Dont want to work. Dont want to help. But they call it "customer care" when they reallly dont gaf. Im going to the "BBB". You all should do the same if you want to help with shutting these no-empathy-having-$#*!-theiving- $#*!- non-helping- $#*! group of degenerates down. Tip for consumers:Its out of hand. Im heading to The Better Business Bureau!
“Thieves”
ConnectNetwork is a den of thieves. In order to make any calls you have to deposit funds into their service called AdvancePay Phone. There's a minimum amount you can deposit and the fees are ridiculous. Well, say you get to the end of your friend's incarceration, and you have $24.00 left on your account. If you don't use it, after 180 days they just take it. In order for your funds not to be forfeited, you have to sign into your account before 180 days expire and keep signing in every 180 days at least. You can call an 800 number to get a refund of your deposited funds, but they run you around so much to get a refund, they make it almost impossible. This is a scam that should be investigated by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. A total ripoff from start to finish. I really had no idea this is how it worked, but I lost $20.36 one time and $24.04 the second. DO NOT USE THIS FRAUDULENT SERVICE UNLESS YOU PLAN YOUR PHONE USAGE DOWN TO THE LAST RED CENT. Tip for consumers:ConnectNetwork stinks. Products used:AdvancePay Phone Service Value Returns Quality
“They steal your money!”
These bastards will literally just take all your money. Apparently at a certain time, they say your money is "expired" and take it all. They've done it to me twice now. So if you have to use their $#*!s, just keep a small amount in at any time. That is saying nothing of their 12% fee on every deposit and their crazy prices. These guys need to burn in hell.
“Cannot deposit money to Trust Fund”
Trying to deposit money to an inmates Trust Fund. Long story short customer service has no idea what's going on. Different answer each time I call with a problem. So frustrating! Guess after reading other complaints I'm should be happy it won't accept my credit card for deposits. The question is, how do I get money to an inmate!
“Horrible. Extortion. Rip-Off”
Website is cumbersome and complicated. Horrible customer service. Expensive to call and the price even rose the last two years. The fee they take off is stupid and makes me lose so much call time money. Also, if you don't use your balance within a certain amount of time, they expire it. I didn't even know. I lost $60 worth of calls because of that. I'm so done with them. I told my friend to call me once every week. It used to cost only around $1.17 per 30 minute call in 2014, now it's $3.88 a call. What average person could afford this crap? It's disgusting.
“UNETHICAL CRAP”
Yes, you can get them to take your money easily, but don't even try to get a refund... total BS. Sadly, inmates are considered cockroaches, so the whole system operates similarly. Good luck with them, I sure haven't had it.
“Dont advertise something you can not deliver”
Stay in touch with your LO quickly, NO it takes over a week or more for emails to get put through. They say its the institution which may be true but if your advertising something you better be on their case to do their jobs. Its not because they have to read each one. I hear CO's talk. They just dont care and let them sit. Its not worth buying the tablet.
“Horrible”
Always off line. Customer Service wait is long and your often disconnected. The state of michigan need to end the contract with this vendor. It just doesn't make since that we send money through this site and email through another. JPay was much better.
“Excuses and lies”
This ordeal started in December a couple of days before Christmas! Our bank card was comprised when we attempted to place a deposit into my grandson's account. Then this shady company charged my daughter's account three times with only a transaction once approved. Grandson didn't received any of the money and they claimed that one transaction was showing on their end. We purchased a debit card just to use and they have stolen over $60.00 and will not allow phone calls to go through once we apply the card information. This company is taking advantage of innocent people who are trying to stay in connect with their loves ones.
“Horrible”
Excuse my language but this place is a pain in my f $#*!. I put money on my kids dad account for his birthday and it didn't go to him. It went to another inmate without my consent. Called customer service and they did nothing. They told me to look at it as "a gift". And that they can not transfer the funds. Like wth. I'm so upset. It's just not right to cheat people out of money. It's horrible.
“Worst system ever!”
How do they stay in business? Whoever is responsible for this fiasco should be fired immediately, especially after reading the reviews. I have never come across a more incompetent outfit in all my life. How do they maintain their contract? Are all prison administrators idiots? I wish they had to deal with this, then maybe it would change.
“Horrible Company/Horrible Website/Crooks working for prison system”
I can't believe that the government contracts with such an inept system to "provide" phone services to inmates. For the amount of money that they must be making off this, it should work well. Instead, the don't really seem to care, but certainly make it easy to take your money... good luck being able to use it. Hopefully enough negative reviews will create some kind of change.
“Beware of theft”
Don't throw your money away,, the minute you open an account to send money to your Loved one in jail, they steel your money immediately. I have called every day for a week straight trying to find out what happened to the money I sent to my brother. He never got it. To avoid refunding, they pass you around and make you wait on hold for hours until you give up. Don't put yourself threw this. I am turning this over to channel 3 news. Let them have there fun with this. This has been thee worst experience ever. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“HORRBLE service and HORRIBLE customer service.”
This company provides horrible service and their customer service is even worse. They are profiting off of the incarcerated and their families so the least they can do is be helpful when you reach out for customer service. I have called spent an hour on phone and then emailed three times. NOTHING has ever been resolved.
“No Refund”
I have called numerous times trying to get a $15.00 refund because my son was incarcerated for 4 days. I put $25.00 on the phone log minus the $6.79 fee for using their service. When I called the toll free number given it indicated I had $22.00 left. I have called over and over again and unable to get my refund. They had no problem taking the money but obvious it's a big deal to get refunded. Pray that I never have to use their service again. They are foreign speaking rip off artist.
“I cant log in for months now”
I've been trying to log in for months now. Countless emails sent to customer services and no reply. I have a lot of money on the stamps in there and refuse to let them keep it. I want to know how my friends are doing, but there is no way to get through. Bad network
“Now this is criminal”
These people are over charging innocent people that have to shovel to communicate with their loved ones. It is absolutely criminal for them to limit the amount of time we can talk to our friends and family. And where does the money go that they make? It surely dont go to paying any kind of customer service, they dont answer, and the app is total garbage. More people need to speak up about this. They are taking advantage of your mother, your grandmother, sons and daughters. They are some sick $#*!s
“They just steal your deposit after 90 days”
I put $30 in to allow an inmate to call our office. I assumed it would stay there until used. A few moths later about $24.00 it was forfeited for nonuse. I called customer service to ask that the funds be restored as I received a phone call recently and there was no balance. They refused to re-credit my account. Service Value
“They rob you, after, of course, charging you for the privilege of being robbed”
Deposited money for a phone connection. Connection never made. ConnectNetwork claims another "affiliate" got the money so you have to talk to them--and they give you automated service numbers which mean you cannot speak to an actual person (and they give you different numbers). You call ConnectNetwork four times telling them you will keep calling until someone gives you an actual customer service number. You get that number, but the person at that "affiliate" says there is no account opened under that number. EXCEPT, they took your money! Oh, okay, let us contact our IT people. It isn't the $15 crummy dollars, although for some people that is a lot of money to be robbed of. It is the fact that these outfits (and the prisons themselves) charge inmates ridiculous phone charges, if, of course, they can actually try to make the call! Shameful really.
“Declining cards for no reason”
My card got declined when there was more than enough money on there. I tried other cards but they were declined as well. I called my bank and they said it's the facility rejecting the payment. Then they put a block on my account because it's says there was fraudulent activity on my account which is bull because they declined my payment. It's nuts. I've called so many times and no One can help me out. Saying I need to wait 3-10 business days before this can be resolved. That is absolutely absurd. I can't talk, message or add funds to my loved one because of a glitch in their system? This is insane an I think this is the worst company because they have no sense of customer service. Right now with everything going on you would think they would be trying to be more sympathetic but they are not.
“You will not get a refund”
You will not get a refund. I called connect network they transferred me to a sub company 4 times and the sub company said 4 times they do not have my information so they are not able to help me. I've ask to speak with a supervisor he tried to transfer me to. I don't recommend this company if you have to give them money to contact the people you want to contact. Keep it old fashioned write letters and go see in person. Tip for consumers:Go back to pen and paper if you want to contact your family. Products used:It’s better to use pen and paper from now on when trying to contact your family. You will not get a refund!!!!!
“Useful service!”
I've been able to use this service for text messages, also sending photos from my cell phone gallery (My family member received the photos within a couple of hours.) There is a feature to request a phone call from them that works well. Phone calls from my inmate using GTL (which can be to anyone on the inmates approved list) I have had problems with the Advance pay system to call only to my phone. The money is still on the account. We haven't figured out how to use that account yet. I've never put money for collect calls because it seems that they are more expensive than the other call methods. Also since I didn't know how to apply money in the beginning. I accidentally added money for games on the inspire tablet. For the most part it is a very useful communication site.
“Terrible service, customer service is a joke if you can understand them”
The absolute worse I've ever dealt with, customers don't seem to matter, I've never got one response to any issues, never even got a reply of what steps will be taken to fix these issues and there are a lot
“Great prices”
Prices are very reasonable for inmates to call you oh for you to take incoming calls $1.19 for 20 minutes that's a great deal! Tip for consumers:Phone service Products used:Phone service Service Value Quality
“It is a great way to communicate once you get it down pack.”
I hadn't any issues keep up with technology blind in one eye cannot type 100 words without straing my eyes

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen?
