cheddars.com Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives cheddars.com a fairly high trust score on the platform: 81.1. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Fair. Valid. Known.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 81.1 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to cheddars.com's industry. The algorithm detected a low risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Fair. Valid. Known. tags above. Long story short, we deemed this a known website, with a low scam probability. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning cheddars.com, let's look closer at the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between cheddars.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of cheddars.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of cheddars.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. cheddars.com is an innocuous suspicious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether cheddars.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether cheddars.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, cheddars.com.

Completely satiated!Dad had the meatloaf w/brown gravy, green beans and cole slaw, Mom had white fish with broccoli casserole and rice, I had side salad with my chicken pot pie - we ALL LOVED OUR DINNERS! Everything was served hot and the flavor was delicious. The portions (a bit large for M&D but they love the leftovers and the chicken pot pie was EXACTLY as I thought it should taste.Or server, Lindsay, was kind, professional and quick. My parents had never eaten here before and they are looking forward to coming back! Thank you
Not worth 1star. Manager at St Lucie West Port St. Lucie location treated my girlfriend with an attitude and angry tone.My girlfriend was vaping at the bar , yes this was against your rules , however the manager stated “ you can’t vape in here , I watched you vape 3 times in a stern voice. You can’t vape in my building. She was talking in a rude demeanor like my girlfriend was 5 years old. I am a manager for a multibillion multinational company. I would never talk to a customer in the manner and attitude she did. Having angry and aggressive managers on staff would never be tolerated at my business. We will never return to this business or any other business owned by Darden restaurants. Maybe manager training in in order for you company.
Was at Cheddars Restaurant in Wheeling on 9/25/24 8 PM they had a very large party in back room the Manger allow them to disrupt every one in the Restaurant with their yelling and chanting it was totally out of control and the manger did nothing .
Food was hot !! And delicious. I ask for medium plus for my steak, Chief did excellent job❣️Katrina was our expert waitress, she was timely, efficient and friendly! We are going to ask for her next time❣️Bathroom was clean and plenty of paper products. Oh the male hostess was good at his job too. I know this is petty but the music was awful, it was too loud and not really music 🎶 It was annoying😳But that won’t stop us from coming back, maybe Christmas music next time ?! Aquarium. Was well maintained and beautiful, plants are amazing 🤩
My brother and I wanted to go to a new place for lunch before doing a few errands and we both have never been to Cheddars so we thought we would give it a try. Immediately walking in it was a warm and inviting atmosphere. Our server, Ricky, was phenomenal!! Let's just say that more servers in the food industry need to take lessons from this man. He was absolutely GREAT!!!!
Visited Cheddars in St Lucie Westrhis past tuesday.Arrived around 8:30 the place hardly had any dinners. We were seated in the bar area,no one else was there. We had the absolute worst waitress. I had to get up and ask her for water and napkins. She dud not remove dishes from the table. When the food finally arrived the potatoes were cold. Mind you there wad no other dinners seated there. Then she went on to sweep and mop the floor beside us. Never experienced such lousy service. Would not recommend or go back. And the manager wanted to give me a free appetizer. Imagine that. The food was good the presentation lousy. Think twice before going to Cheddars.
Better than the first 2 experiences I had here. This was my 3rd visit to Cheddar's in the Jonesboro, Ark. location. The first 2 experiences were horrible and I vowed to not return.. however after several years, we decided to give them another try and see if they improved. Only complaint was that the servers didn't come around often enough and I had to sit waiting on something to drink several times. Food was fresh and delicious, was exactly what we wanted. Will return in the future.
I just recently started working at cheddar's and for fear of retaliation I'm using my cousins account. I couldn't believe what's happening in the kitchen! The cooks are handling the food with their bare hands as they are playing it and not washing in between plates as health code requires! And they leave the trash inside overnight which is also a violation of health code! And the general manager is the one ok'ing all this! Touching food with bare hands is not ok!
I took a friend to eat there this past weekend boy I was embarrassed with all the mistakes I had been raving about their food the spinach dip was dry not good.. Then we were served chicken fried instead of what we both ordered we told chicken fried steak with one meat patty we were served whole burned chicken with gravy she did replaced with the right but needless to say it was also burned would eat so I packed it up, I gave it to my dog she was having a hard time chewing it .. I had a Very bad experience which cost me $48, Maybe different cook.. I won’t be going or recommend them anymore too I am embarrassed to recommend them..
Entered the resturant with our group of people, hostess tells us they are waiting for the server to arrive, so we can"t be seated till the server arrives. Thats #1 next we continue to wait for another 10 minutes and ask again whats going on, everyone one else comes in and gets seated but us. She claims still waiting on server. Finally afer 25 minutes another lady takes us back and tries to seat 12 people at a 8 persons table.Well just goes on and on. We finally had enough and left the restuarant went across the street and had a pleasant meal and nite. Unfortunately the York location needs to teach the staff about rudeness and how to accomodate the public, We are 12 people who will never return to this york location again.
I’ve been to cheddars once with great resultsI took my grown daughter to the Chandler Az restaurant for her birthday,5 of us total, the bill was $118.00+tip, on march 9th.None of us had good results with our food, the potatoes were not even warm, the fries with bacon and cheese had been sitting awhile, they were cold. The herb chicken was flavorless, the ribs were ok, but not warm.I will not recommend your restaurant to anyone The service was good
I would not eat at Cheddar's anymore my husband and I went to Cheddar's in Greenville North Carolina. First of all the restaurant is dark. Need better lighting. Do they keep it down so you can't really see what you're eating. Didn't take long to get the food my side dish was wings and rice after taking two bites of it and staring it that was a roach in my beans and rice. First time going there will not do it again I believe Harley in restaurant ratings and cleanliness. If you're taking people money why you can't hire people that really care about their job and make sure everything is clean and sanitary.
My family ate at the Cheddsrs on Memorial in Edmond on 10/22/23. The waitress spilled several glasses of water onto the table and floor. We worked feverishly to keep from getting wet ourselves but me and the one across from me at the isle end of the booth got the worst of it. Rather than seating us elsewhere they worked at cleaning up the mess while we were in the booth. That was at least 20 minute ordeal. It was over an hour getting our food from when we were seated. My green beans were crunchy from not being cooked properly. No manager ever spoke to us in apology and everyone acted as if everything was normal. We felt dismissed, ignored and infuriated by the lack of service. If this was my only experience at Cheddars, I would never go back to that restaurant again. Our experience at Norman’s Cheddar's has always been positive.
This was our first time at Cheddars since covid took over. Sadly this will be our last visit too... One of the steaks ordered which should have been medium was more medium well, very little pinkish brown... the chicken Alfredo had very runny sauce and completely mushy broccoli. Last and the most important was the removal of onion rings from your menu. This was the whole reason for choosing cheddars after so long so it was very disappointing. All in all doesn't leave a lot of reason for any of us to return.
I didn’t get my tools with my order, I had a shrimp platter and I received about 5 and the rest was fried batter, never had this problem before I don’t know if it was because it was take out but I wasn’t happy with my order.
Me and my family went to cheddars, the food was delicious especially the chicken tenders, BUT we sat in a booth and near the window was FILTHY, it disgusted me and my family, under the booth were a couple of old fries. The waitress only gave us half the straws we needed, also the Dr. Pepper was disgusting we had to ask for 2 refills, it tasted like someone poured a whole gallon of acid in our drinks. It took about 40 minutes for all of our food to be cooked. It was a reasonable price though, considering there were six of us. Although the food was great I would not go here to eat again.
Visited in Erie, PA. Fast seating, not busy, after the usual lunch hour. Waitress brought drinks but only 3 crescent rolls, even though she was told there were 4 (one in the bathroom prior to seating). Finally brought a 4th roll, took orders. Rolls were dry and tasted stale. Waitress didn't come back for 25-30 minutes - not until the food came. Couldn't catch her eye for more water. My burger was well done - I'd asked for medium rare. One of the other's burger was supposed to be medium well and it was charred black in places. We didn't send them back, thinking we'd be there another half hour, waiting without more drinks. We had plenty of time to look around. Fans in the atrium were trailing dust and cobwebs. Layers of dust in the vents. Very happy we weren't sitting under the atrium. Won't be going back.
We ordered take out from the cheddars on airport freeway in Bedford, Texas. Portions too small. We joined the club and had a chips and queso coupon. It expired, but we’re not aware of it, they could have recognized it, but stingy management. Not good customer service. I work in customer service for many years and it’s not rocket science to serve good customer service.
Liked the food, though I wouldn' rate it above average. The problem was that the music was soooo...! loud we could not even talk to each other. In case you are unaware, "dining" is as much about being with and conversing with family or friends as it is about the food. Two of your locations advised that loud music is company policy, Really!? Whose idea was that? Do you actually have customers who will not come in unless the music is overbearingly loud? I think probably not. Good luck to you...we'll just "dine" somewhere else where we can have a conversation.
I still remember the first time my husband and I visited Cheddars when it opened. It was a fantastic dining experience, and we kept going back because the food was consistently delicious. However, there came a time when we noticed a change in the taste and quality of the food. We decided to take a break from dining there.Fast forward to June 14, 2024, we decided to give Cheddars another chance as we had gift cards to use. When we arrived, the staff were friendly, and the person who seated us was quite amiable. However, when he directed us to our table, it felt like he was leading us outside, close to the exit door. It was a bit funny but bewildering at the same time.We ordered spinach dip, which arrived cold, and the accompanying salsa seemed store-bought. This was a stark contrast to our initial experiences, where everything tasted fresh. We mentioned our concerns to the waitress, and she explained that the chips were cooked daily and stored in a bin. I opted for the pecan chicken salad, which I had enjoyed previously, but this time, the ranch dressing tasted watery, and the pecans were so hard that I worried about breaking a tooth. My husband's flavored peach tea was disappointing, especially given its cost, and the fried shrimp he ordered had a hard batter, forcing him to remove it before eating the shrimp. Overall, we left the restaurant feeling extremely disappointed with our dining experience and the amount of money we had spent. This visit left us feeling like we wouldn't be returning to the Little Rock location. We hope Cheddars takes customer feedback seriously and values the support of its loyal patrons.

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
