campingworld.com Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives campingworld.com one of the higher trust scores on the platform: 89.5. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same results. So, why this score? We came up with the 89.5 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to campingworld.com's industry. The algorithm detected little high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, as noted in the Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure. tags above. Long story short, we deem this a secure website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning campingworld.com, let's look closer at the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between campingworld.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of campingworld.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of campingworld.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. campingworld.com is an authentic, safe website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether campingworld.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether campingworld.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, campingworld.com.

Using the CW website, I set up an appointment at the CW in Reno, Nevada for a safety inspection and to have the wheels packed on our travel trailer. Subsequently I received an email and text from CW confirming my appointment. On July 23, 2024 I arrived for my appointment with my trailer in tow and was told I didn’t have an appointment after all. I showed them the email I received and they told me any appointments made online “go to Lala land” but offered no remediation, explanation (other than saying, “our computer system is crap”) or compensation for my time and trouble. They didn’t even offer to fit me into their service schedule this week. CW has lost my business permanently.
Used RV sale- Problems on the day we picked it up. No call-backs. Pre-delivery inspection was billed to customer at $995.00 but was not completed. 12 volt camper system completely inoperative unless hooked up to 120 volt "shore power" but they displayed it with power connected only in an effort to hide the problem. Called twice and no call-backs.
CW Auction is a National SCAM by camping world ! Getting your hopes up regarding any purchase should be a good experience from any reputable company. But they really have bottom out using a nation advertising site to promote camping world. Highest bidder was a waste of my time to met their reserve price. Why can’t companies be honest with customers? Stay away!
*****EDIT****SO MY PRIOR REVIEW WAS CORRECT, THE TEAM DID DO EVERYTHING I STATED, FOR WHICH I PAID A DIGNOSTIC FEE FOR. THE PROMISE WAS THAT THEY WOULD "FIGURE THIS OUT AND WE WILL CALL YOU MONDAY TO GET THIS FIXED" MONDAY COMES, I AM PATIENTLY WAITING FOR THE CALL, UNTIL 3 PM. I CALLED AND WAS GIVEN TO RUN AROUND FOR 10 MINUTES, THEN HUNG UP. I CALLED BACK, DEMANDED TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE AND A WOMAN ANSWERED. SHE HAD NO CLUE ABOUT MY SITUATION, BUT DID GO AND TALK TO THE TECHNICIAN. HE STATED "I FORGOT TO CALL WINNEBAGE, BUT I PROMISE TO DO IT TOMORROW". SHE STATED SHE WAS "PUTTING STICKY NOTES ON HER AND KIMBERLY'S COMPUTER" i PROMISE WE WILL CALL YOU FIRST THING TOMORROW...CARE TO GUESS? NO CALL!!! I CALLED AND LEFT 4 MESSAGES FOR KIMBERLEY AND WHEN I COULD NOT REACH HER, I CALLED THE GENERAL MANAGER, STEPHEN. AFTER HAVING MY CALLED SCREENED BY THE RECEPTIONIST AND 3 OTHER "MANAGERS", SOMEONE CAME ON AND PROMISED "i AM CALLING HIM NOW, HE IS AT LUNCH, BUT I PROMISE HE WILL CALL YOU WITHING THE HOUR"... NO CALL ON SATURDAY, WHILE I WAITED 3 HOURS FOR NOTHING TO BE DONE ON THE ISSUE I HAD, I HAD THE OCCAISION TO SPEAK TO SEVERAL SALES PEOPLE THAT WORKED AT THIS LOCATION. BOTH OF THEM TOLD ME THE GM, STEPHEN WAS NEW AND HAD BEEN ON A "FIRING SPREE" WITH ALL THE EXISTING EMPLOYEES. THEY WERE BOTH LOOKING FOR JOBS, STATING THEY DID NOT WANT TO BE A PART OF THIS "PARTY CULTURE" THAT THE NEW GM HAD BROUGHT TO THE STORE. THEY STATED THAT HE ROUTINELY HAS TAKE 4 HOUR LUNCHES AND SEEMS TO BE INCOHERENT IN THE AFTERNOONS. IT APPEARFS THAT THIS MAY BE TRUE, AS STEPHEN NEVER RETURNED MY CALL AFTER HIS "LUNCH". *************BEWARE AND AVOID CAMPING WORLD. BOTH OF MY EXPERIENCES, IN DIFFERENT STATES HAVE INVOLVED SCAMS, DEVIOUS EMPLOYEES AND A PERVASIVE DRUG CULTURE, THIS LOCATION IS A HORRIBLE PLACE AND THIS COMPANY IS COMPLETE GARBAGE...I had an issue laid on a Saturday afternoon while traveling and called The service department at this location. A nice lady named Kimberly answered the phone and even though it was 4 o’clock, told me to come on in. It turns out that Kimberly was the manager and she was certainly leading by example! They got me right in and a technician named Michael started to work on the issue that I had.. Michael spent a significant amount of time trying to diagnose the issue, staying over an hour after close, trying to get this fixed. In 33 years in the automotive Industry I have never seen such professionalism. I hope the Camping World World reads this review and calls me, These are the kind of employees that need company would love to have!
Took my rv for a rv fridge swap to a 12 volt fridge at camping world in Draper Utah. They installed but left 2 inch gaps between fridge and trim. now all my ac will run out or let heat in they did a poor job a high schooler could have done a better job for what they charge me. Now I have to fix it right myself because there’s no way I take it back They are so incompetent from the start with the service department to the so called technicians. would not recommend anyone to this place. They also went thru all my compartments where they didn’t have to mess with them at all. This place is a joke.
I ordered two chairs from Camping World that were shown as in stock and available on their website. As soon as I ordered them and they took my money, they sent me an email saying they were backordered and I would receive an update soon. A week later, I reached out to them to get an update on the shipping timeline since there is not a lot of time left in the summer, and they emailed me back to tell me the chairs were discontinued and would not be restocked and they'd be happy to refund me. If I had not emailed they would have just kept my money and never said anything - feels like a scam!
Anyone thinking about buying an RV from Camping World BEFORE YOU DO GO TO FACEBOOK CAMPING WORLD SUCKS and see what 40,000 other people are saying about themYOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
If I could give a negative star, I would. They sold me a BRAND NEW defective camper on May 30. It has been back to them for repairs for two weeks now, and I have not been able to use the camper. Our experience was at the Camping World in New Braunfels, Texas and it's been hell. We spent $40,000 for NOTHING! And on my first day back to work, they've just informed me that my camper is ready. It was a pointless and expensive endeavor.
Bought a 2021 Vibe RV at the Amarillo site the day it was closing. Was promised things that they apparently lied about because I never received them. I called multiple times and never got anyone that could help me. Promised call backs every time and never received one. Very poor customer service. I needed some info from them so I called Lubbock branch since it was where Amarillo was transferred. That was just today. Promised another call back. Still waiting.
I really suggest you all don’t buy from #CampingWorld. Their many reviews are just over 3 stars and I am proof that they take advantage of you after the sales. Example is, when I complained about the unit they sold me, they offered $1000 toward a $10000 roof that it needed. After they wouldn’t take it back, they only offered me a $12k trade in for a $30k sale they stole from me. Proves that #CampingWorld agrees that they sold me a piece of crap.
Day 16, since Camping World of Bowling Green, KY scammed me into purchasing a $109,000 paper weight that’s sitting in my driveway NOT being used, airing out from defective water leaks, saturated and damaged floors and walls. They intentionally don’t tell you that their product being advertised as a 2024 model year but was actually manufactured in 2022, and has been sitting and rusting on their lot for 2 years. They intentionally don’t tell you that the water leaks have been disguised by turning off all the water valves and only turn on briefly to ensure the buyer that all is well during walk through but quickly turn them off again. They intentionally ensure you that the $6000 extended warranty will cover the damage they didn’t tell you about, even though they have yet to begin any repairs or acknowledge fault.A reasonable and rational person does not presume to be an immediate victim of such nefarious behavior and deceptive practices. You don’t expect to buy something new and immediately be immersed into warranty hell and have your RV sitting on your property completely ruined and useless just hours and days after purchasing.I don’t have the words to describe the absolute disgust and contempt that I have towards this corrupt and fraudulent business that is only worthy of extinction for the betterment of all outdoor enthusiast.I strongly and sincerely implore you to NOT under any circumstances conduct your business or purchase anything from Camping World of Bowling Green, Kentucky Or its parent company Freedom Roads, LLC of Lincolnshire, Illinois Or Thor Motorhomes of Elkhart, Indiana.Do NOT be fooled or mislead into buying anything here, just as ravenous wolves react to prey, so will these money worshipping jackals as they move fast and furious to deceive and devour you.No amount of research online can prepare you for the deception, fraud, misinformation and hidden defective products they will intentionally sell you for their money-god.
Had Camping World in Denton Tx install baseplates for towing behind a RV on my 2022 Jeep Cherokee. The baseplates were installed wrong and I had a failure of the passenger plate . The baseplate almost came off.DO NOT USE CAMPING WORLD IN DENTON TX FOR ANY TOWING VEHICLE HARDWARE...They DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR SERVICE
Stopped by just to look at campers and they wanted a copy of my driver’s license and all my info. This was my sign to run, which I did… I then found the “Camping World Sucks” Facebook page and soooooooo glad I walked… 31k members. How does this company stay in business? I feel so bad for some of these customers….
We bought a 2019 Coleman, and Quan Bodie was awesome the whole time. He is a very personable and friendly person. The trailer was in amazing shape too! 10/10 experience would 100% come back.
We had some electrical malfunctions while camping and after consulting the manual, still couldn't figure it out. Called the nearest Camping World to where we were camping. Receptionist said it would be a 2 1/2 hour wait to talk to the service department. Called another Camping World and was told if we hadn't bought from that specific one, they couldn't help us. Called a third Camping World and they kept asking what campground we were in. We kept telling them that wasn't relevant and just needed the service department. We were then told they were all busy. We finally called a private dealership, told them the circumstances, and their service guy walked us through it.
I just want to let camping world of chattanooga tn my experiance could have not been better.Iwant everyone that reads this gets my experience.I bought my camper on line and olso bought my insurance from good sam online.Everything was perfect from the beginning to the end of sale. All the assoiated were very . friendly and experinced.I recommend camping world of chattanooga to anyone looking for a camper. sonny payne
You will be their best friend through the sales process, a "VIP" even. However, when you need service, or anything goes wrong (including either factory warranty repair, or anything involving their extended warranties) BYER BEWARE! After having the Columbia MO location repair several things, our camper came back worse then when we took it in as they broke things in the process that were not broken when we took it to them (including running a forklift thru the side of the camper). We then took it to the Wentzville MO location hopeful for a better outcome, we paid over $500 for a roof cleaning and resealing and the next trip out it rained, we had water running down the inside wall at the nose of the camper. We then had to spend over 6 weeks trying to get them to send the forms for us to sign to refund the prorated portion of the very expensive useless extended warranties they sold us under false pretense that they would "cover everything", when in fact they covered almost nothing. Thankfully we got out of that camper and have shifted our business to an RV dealer that cares about their customers!
We purchased our Ram Pro Master camper Van from CampingvWorld Liberty Lake Wa in June and I must say it was a very good experience. Our Sales Rep Wyatt was very helpful and professional all the way through the process. I would recommend anyone shopping for a RV in eastern Washington to consider this company.
We went to Camping world in Robertsdale Alabama and found out a year later by another RV sales place which I will not disclose. Found out that they did not come close to the value of my trade in. My wife tried to stop me from trading our Jayco class c in, she observed all the sales people giving high fives (with no other sales going on) She told me to stop and I didn't listen to her. We are now $9000.00 upside down on our Winnebago 2019 thanks to these salesman who knew we had a super c being traded. I did not know much about RVs but it was apparent they did and took advantage of senior citizens. Stay away from Robertsdale Alabama Camping World because you will get screwed big time. So thank you(not really) Camping World for taking advantage of us. I found out by another RV sales that today the one we traded could of been sold between $80000.00 to $90000.00 and we got only 72k for it, Stay away from this place like the plague.
Dishonest salesman making offers that they can't possibly honor because the market isn't selling at that price. This company has screwed over EVERYONE I know who has dealt with them.Too bad businesses that are this terrible can manage to stay afloat with their dishonest practices.

“Request cancelation of the Service Contract, Paint Protection and Tire and Wheel Protection.”
Purchased a 2018 Forest river 2906ws at the CW Lincoln, NE dealership where I bought it. Sent a certified letter requesting a prorated refund of the above service add ons.Followed up with a phone call a week later check on the refund, Finance department did not know anything about it. Not happy I visited the CW, by the time I got there surprise they found it buried on someone's desk, nothing had been done. The finance person processed the form and back dated it to 7-18-24. It's now 10/09/24 and still nothing. Calls to the local CW and they put it off on Corporate. I asked for a Corp Finance number, called it and got nowhere. Totally unacceptable. Do not let them sell you any add on's, waste of money--too many exceptions in them. Service
“Selling an RV”
I had to sell my Winnebago Micro Minnie. I was given a trade in estimate of $18,500. After the dealership inspected the camper, the estimate decreased to $17,000. The camper was barely used, so it was in great shape, but needed the typical maintenance done on the roof and slide out. I was ok with the $17,000. I had emailed the insurance ID card with the VIN along with the vehicle registration to the dealership. At the final moment of signing the papers, I'm told that the model number is different and indicates the NADA is much lower. I was offered $13,500. I've contacted the complaint department, so if any fair resolution is reached, I will update this review. Service Value Quality
“Horrible. I would give a Zero if I could.”
My bust dealing with camping world. Baught a 2019 hideout in January 2019 January middle of winter as the wife was a traveling nurse. Did not get an inspectiion before purchase but they knew the issue with the awning arm before they sold. I will never ever deal with Camping World again and that is my advise to future customer of Camping World. Beware of the crooks. Rand Wahr Service Value Quality
“Those 5 stars from employees/corporate”
Worst ever! Bought a forest river 2023 new. Made it 20 miles down hiway and the roof peeled off, a 10 yard strip of aluminum and hit 3 cars behind us. Awful mess, towed it back to CW and they said no returns sorry. They would take it back on trade off course it depreciation 20K in 20 minutes. Tip for consumers:The salesman were laughing with the manager when they looked at our roof. Products used:Forest river Service Value Quality
“The customer is WRONG. Don't waste your time. Awful customer experience.”
I've had an absolutely awful experience purchasing a Dometic fridge ($1650) from these folks. Fridge shipped without a panel, which makes no sense to begin with. Had I known this ahead of time, I'd have kept my old fridge panel. I sucked it up and paid $150 for a new panel from them, and when it came in the mail i saw that it does not fit. They will not accept it as a return, or provide ANY assistance on getting it cut to fit. They take zero responsibility, told me to call Dometic, which I did, they said that Camping World shouldn't be selling this as a related product because it doesn't fit. Home Depot, Ace hardware, local lumber yard will not cut acrylic. Apparently I need to spend another few hundred dollars on tools to do this... just to get a cover on my fridge. Unreal. Today I see a warning on the product page in bold text, "NOTE: Door panel (item *******) is sold separately and will requiring trimming to fit custom dimensions.", that was NOT there previously (archive.org verifies this). So they've made an effort to cover their tracks (and deleted my negative review on the product page) but provide zero acknowledgement or assistance in making this right. I will never purchase from CampingWorld again, and I'd advise anyone reading this to shop elsewhere - they don't care about their customers. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“Total Rip off / Deceptive Sales Practices”
Total Rip off / Deceptive Sales Practices Salesman Jori Stewart was willing to endanger my 7 year olds life for an over priced sale. He and Camping World took full advantage of my lack of knowledge on RVs, towing, and my situation of facing homelessness to sale me a Camper trailer that He promised my vehicle could tow. I went to pick the trailer up and thankfully my vehicle has a safety feature that did not allow Jori Stewart to hook the trailer up to my car. My towing limitations were laid out in our very first communication. Camping World General Manager Austin Thornton said that the best he could do for me was trade the trailer in. Trade in value being $28k when they sold this trailer to me for $60,555.66. They are expecting me to take a $32k loss for a Camper that I was never able to pick up. I requested to rescind the loan 24 hours after signing and realizing I could never tow this thing safely. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“Bad decision”
Recently purchased a new 2024 Forest River Wildwood X-Lite trailer. Purchased extended warranty after swearing I wouldn't. Finance guy is very persistent. Three days later I requested cancellation of extended warranty and was told it would take 4-6 weeks. Going on 15 weeks and nothing but lip service so far. Don't let them include it on top of purchase price either. New trailer had rear vent on top but no vent inside, and bathroom vent is lop-sided and un-even and flashing curled on inside. Paid to have MaxAir vent covers, and they put Camco covers. (main difference is one has a 1 year warranty and the other has a 6 year warranty) Antenna wiring was screwed up and then they only wired the front TV and not the rear. USB ports don't work. The Fresno service Dept. is nice but still put wrong covers on. I'm contacting the Commission on Insurance and the BBB next week. Someone is dragging their feet and someone is collecting interest on my money that is in limbo. Whole thing has left bad impression, and I don't see myself buying my next trailer from here or referring Camping World to anyone I care about. If they're still in business. “Inconsistent, customer, service, and more”
I have a whole list of grievances with Camping World. But even after talking with corporate for the Thor motor company, which is the type of rig I purchased there's still giving me the runaround at Camping World. I called Camping World corporate. They called Camping World Vacaville and they were supposed to take care of everything. I had an appointment with the finance manager and she said I wouldn't have to pay for any of the fixes. They were going to take care of. It went back and dropped off my camper today and they are trying to make me pay for it now. The first time I needed some work done. I dropped off my rig to gentleman that sold me my RV took my key said here I'll take it back for you and get it set up for you for the repairs three or four days into the repair that they had my rig, I got a call from the service desk and said we found an extra set of keys. We're gonna send them to you, so when I got to set of keys it was my set of keys that I dropped off with him not an extra set at all, so how in the world are they going to work on my rig when they sent me my keys back And it had already been like five days. Unbelievable. I called and talked with him about this right away. The gal said well hold off. Let me see what I can do. Give us a few days so I waited another four days. Never got called back nothing ever happened. Nothing ever was fixed so I went and picked up my rig and took it home, I found out from them A girl in the service department said oh well just because I didn't see upfront that the service there was an order was put in. I went to the back and they said they had a service order for me. That was a lie because when I went back to pick up my rig. Gentleman said nobody ever put a service order in for you, etc., anyway I'm pretty much done with Camping World do not buy from them. They are horrible but make up your own mind. I have a whole list of things that I could list here mistakes that they made but whatever. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“Horrible Customer Service”
Beyond frustrated and disappointed! We dropped our camper off 2/17/24 for warranty repairs and as of 6/12/24 its still not done! I have contacted the corporate office and this has not helped. I can't seem to get timely replies to emails of phone calls, always excuses from them when I do get to speak to someone. My extended warranty for exterior issues(peeling graphics) were denied because the service department didn't submit it before the warranty expired in April, even though I dropped off & reported in February. I.M.O. Steer clear!
“Unacceptable service”
Bought a 5th wheel from Camping World in Dec 23. Camper is still under warranty but I have a few issues. They want me to bring the camper to them. One of the problems is I cannot open the back door to fold the ladder in for it to be moved. Sorry we don't have mobile maintenance, call another location. I did, they farm that work out to a 3rd party. So know I don't even know if I get these repairs done it it will void my warranty Service Value
“Got treated like trash and Disrespected”
This place in Concord nc was the worst place we went to look at the campers and to get prices and was treated horrible and now I know my family wasn't the only one I seen other reviews and I see why now why they push u so hard to buy buy buy now I seen reviews that they sale crap...oh and the sale rep had us on golf cart about thew my daughter and husband and I off it because we said we was just looking at this point lucky my husband had my 2 year old or would have been lawsuit Service Quality
“Do not trust Camping World”
Took coach in for evaluation of 16' awning that would not close($125). We were told that parts were unavailable so we needed to purchase new awning. We got a call after they installed new awning stating it would not retract either. They figured out it wasn't awning but box inside of coach but would not return our phone calls or money. Our new awning has no metal cover on it to protect it like old one did. There is a reason they have 1.5/5 complaints Service Value Returns Quality
“HORRIBLE Customer Service!”
I ordered the first stove 11 days ago. It arrived with a corner smashed. I contacted Camping World and they sent a second stove that again arrived with a corner smashed. I expained that I had already paid $150 in trip charges for installation and was leaving for three months offgrid in a few days and that I desperately needed a stove sent undamaged. I was assured they would have the warehouse check for damage and pad the stove better. It barely has any protection. The third one arrived Saturday evening again with the same corner smashed. When I contacted them again with pictures and video requesting a discount to keep the damaged stove because I'm desperate, they offered me a $25 refund. Ridiculously bad customer service. I have been RVing full-time six years and will NEVER again do business with Camping World! Products used:None so far. I haven't been able to find another stove that fits my RV. “Rip off artists”
Long story short. Had our rv picked up in February. Said we could pick up three weeks later. Went to pick up. One our later no rv. Where's it at? We had to find it. We could hav taken any rv out there. Brought home. They fixed one item out of five. Left screws out. Put tape on fake would. Peel it off and there goes the wood. Now it gets interesting. They continue to contact us to come pick up the camper. It's bin two months and they hav no clue. I emailed the ceo of the company and nothing. Do not buy from them. Never again. The company needs to go away. The worst. Didn't want to give a rating because there is no minus.
“Camping world, Awful”
I have been waiting for many months to write a review because I was hoping things would turn around, but the honest truth is, the people at this company are not good people. There were a couple of things wrong with our camper upon deciding to buy it. But we were ASSURED they would be taken care of when we came in to sign for it. Then at signing, we were assured by 2 others that the issues would be fixed by delivery. Even with a call in to make sure things were happening, delivered and come to find out problems were not even addressed AFTER 3 TIMES them telling us they were being taken care of. THIS WAS OCTOBER! Now, after several times being put off, it April and our camper is in for repair. Been there for almost a month and still not done! Literally every conversation with every person there is lip service. Not good people. Products used:Coleman camper

“Accessories not configured to spec.”
We bought a motor home in late fall 2023 From the harrisburg camping build organization. In reading the manuals over the winter we found that the mattress that gave us was not the right size to fit the configuration of the motor home. It's five inches too long giving us barely enough room to get by in the middle of the night. It is very difficult and dangerous to get through the small space. I cannot afford to fall. We have been trying to get hold of the sales person or the ceo, think is Tony, in an attempt to negotiate a swap to get the right sized mattress which is 60x70. It is to the point now where he won't even answer our phone calls. We also did not receive the right size television. However we did know that when we purchased the RV and we decided to just let it go. I am seventy one and I certainly do not want to fall because of a mattress that doesn't fit the specs of the entire rv. A broken hip is Not on my list of things to do. The lack of response and the fact that they will not answer the phone tells me that they are not a very good company to deal with and they came here more about sales than they do about their customers or customer satisfaction To build an environment where they have returning customer My advice to anyone buying a used r v or anything on consignment from Camping World that they go over it with a fine tooth comb, review the manuals and don't take the salesman's word for anything before you sign a paper buying that vehicle. After reading other reviews from past customers.I have to say we are not the only dissatisfied customers. Camping world has a very poor record and the percentage of satisfied customers is extremely low. Tip for consumers:Yes we are thoroughly disgusting with the lack of response and the fact that they can't even accept a phone call. Products used:This has nothing to do with our problem. “Unhappy customer”
First, You can only believe some of what the salesman says. Like, the camper will be cleaned and detailed. That it will be all checked out before I take it off the lot. If anything is wrong it will be fixed in a Timely manner. I'm making my second payment and my oil light keeps coming on. I was promise this would be fixed. I have had trouble getting the title in my name. Still Not, Hope that will happen today or tomorrow. The AC/Heater vents have something blowing out of it. Its starting to be more like work. I don't want the camper now. I have called multiple times for appointment info. Service
“Sales and service good but finance-no comment”
The sales and service were both good. They even delivered the camper to us which I thought was above and beyond. Getting financed and sitting there for 4 hours was not good. The manager was awesome but the financing in my opinion was very pushy on products that were not needed and did not like that at all. Camper is what we were wanting works good and happy with the purchase.
“BUYER BEWARE”
I could give ZERO stars, TRUST ME, I WOULD. BUYER BEWARE. Hubby and I purchased our FIRST camper in September 2023. Aaron was our salesperson and knowingly sold my husband and I a camper that is way above our trucks towing capacity and he was well aware of our trucks make, model, and towing capacity at time of sale. We reached out immediately after taking our camper our ONE TIME and it broke our truck. I was told that there is nothing that they can do. Today, I have a camper sitting in my driveway that I am wasting money on due to THEIR error and wanting to make a quick sale. I have attempted multiple times to contact managers who first say they can help and will return my call only to turn around and send me email that they can't help fix the mistake they made. Save your time and money. Find a legit camper dealer. Service Value Returns Quality
“Don't work here!”
Have a friend who was employed there at Myrtle Beach South Carolina. They were sent out of state to pick up an RV and was told by the General Manager and Sales Manager he would be paid 1000.00 for the trip plus travel expense. The friend drove back over 12 hours after flying there. They still haven't paid him and now only paying him 8 hours at 15.00 per hour for that long trip. A manager is only as good as their word and if he would do that to an employee what will he do to customers. Terrible company to work for and makes false promises. I would never deal with a company like that. If you are thinking of working there…I wouldn't! Service
“Run away! They don't care about you after sale...”
Did a poor job on the repair from their damage on this camper, you will see in images below, scraches that was on here from their lot... Then the repair... black ugly blop and lifted areas after their so called repair... This was bought brand new off their lot... They never fixed what they said they would on the walk-through. RV had to sit the winter now with nothing fixed. I only hope it won't have water damage when we see it. Once the sale was done everything they said they would do changed. Don't buy... If I could leave a 0 star I would...
“Left Holding the Bag”
Purchased a used class A, with 15,000 miles on it. Actually took possession when it had 17,000 miles after Camping World had driven it from California to Iowa. They convinced me we should purchase a $10,800 Good Sam extended service plan through them. The administrator of the plan is Assurant. After driving the RV 4,000 miles, we had a catastrophic engine failure (Ford Triton 6.8 liter V10) with a broken valve seal that destroyed the engine. $25,000 later, we have a new engine. The service plan administrator paid just under $20,000 leaving us with the balance of $5,000 because they didn't think the Ford Truck Center, had the right amount of labor. Our service contract says we have a contract max available of $25,000. Camping World's response, "gee, we're really sorry but too bad." This is the second motor home I've bought from Camping World and I will never darken their door again! If you do purchase from them, be very very careful. And think twice about the extended service plan. It's very expensive and poorly administered. Consider getting a plan from an outside company of your own choosing.

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
