buff.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives buff.com a medium-high trust score on the platform: 72.7. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Standard. Valid. Common.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 72.7 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to buff.com's industry. The algorithm detected a low risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Standard. Valid. Common. tags above. Long story short, this site's trust score still warrants a little caution. Use common sense when using this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning buff.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between buff.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of buff.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of buff.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. buff.com is a likely trustworthy website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether buff.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether buff.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, buff.com.

scam had 2 logitech giftcards laying around for like half a year since i uninstalled it and now that i reinstalled it and tried to use the codes, they dont work.
I placed an order on buff.com on 01/07/24 but never received it; when I chased this up 3 weeks later I was sent a link to a Spanish FedEx tracking site that had proof of delivery for my order to an address that wasn't mine, and wasn't in the same county or region. After a lot of emailing back and forth Buff simply cancelled my order and sent me a refund. Which is fine, but it was a present and I have to get the item from somewhere else now, 2 weeks after the birthday has passed.
I read a lot of negative reviews but Buff were the only company I could find in the UK who provide the item I was looking for (multifunctional neckwear with insect shield). I ordered 3 items and got them within 8 days. They were packaged well and the quality appears to be excellent. By this experience I would be happy to use them again.
The parcel arrived fairly quickly (it was shipped from Germany). If you want to return something, you need to send it at your own expenses and arrange the delivery yourself to Spain.A subsidised and easy-to-print return label would have been a better choice.
Customer service is dire, there's no support through socials and they're slow to respond to emails if at all. The website declined my payment or failed multiple times until it worked with paypal. I have evidence that the money left my account AND received order confirmation from them. Buff then emailed to say my payment was refused and to speak to my bank. Had to go to PayPal and they kindly sent me back my £20. Awful service.
Had to give em 1star to write a review it’s minus 10 not till payment went through did I realise it’s from China, eventually received a medium!!! Never in a million years is it a medium dog bed wouldn’t get a chihuahua in it, very thin and only received 1 it was supposedly buy 1get 1 freeDO NOT BUY FROM THIS FIRM ITS RUBBISH
I ordered hats and guide gloves from the Buff website over a week prior to my upcoming Bahamas trip. I contacted customer service via their website to ask them to please ship my product ASAP. Reply was you had an option for overnight shipping (for an exorbitant rate). So far it's been a week and my package has not left the state where it started! Label created on 4/20 and dropped off at a FedEx retail location on 4/26. Look elsewhere for buff like products with better customer service! Other vendors are able to deliver product quickly with discounted prices. No more Buffs for me!
I'm updating a previous review. After ordering by December 25th, 2021, a delivery that should've happen in 2-3 working days, is missing. Delivery company says it’ still waiting for the package. Could not get any reply from BUFF® | Help Center by "submit a request" on their online form.Today, 18JAN2022, after my 4th contact, now requesting a full refund to ayuda @ buff . com (ignore spaces), BUFF replied saying: "Unfortunately, the shipping company has indicated that they have lost your order. (...) The refund has been processed automatically..."You’ll probably read this after buying and not receiving your parcel, so you’re probably… you know. :) If not, BUY ELSEWHERE!!
Purchased Buff mask which is a disaster. Design makes it impossible to talk with out the mask entering your mouth. the filters fall out whilst in use, it is uncomfortably tight around the back of the neck and impossible to remove without the mask touching your face. Contacted Buff UK and was redirected to Buff Europe who were not helpful and would not provide dimensions for the mask to see if it was faulty! They were insistent that I should return the item to the shop were I purchased it and failed to understand that in the UK face coverings are sold as PPE and therefore not refundable!
Absolute shambles of a company. No response to customer emails. Ordered masks on the 31st of July and originally told it would arrive in 4-6 days, got an email on the 7th of August, again promising delivery in 4-6 days, and then another email on 11th promising the same. Tracking number in one email worked and it didn't in the other, finally figured out how to track and it said it had been returned to sender on the 14th of August. Another email came confirming it had been an unsuccessful delivery on the 16th. I've asked for a refund, but it seems it is a ghost company, with no one working in it and no one responding to any form of communication (email, contact form, Facebook). They just seem happy to take the money but won't deliver items. Stay away!
I love their products so gave them 2 stars but if you are in the UK, take note their UK store does not ship your order from the UK, and if you have a problem with any items in the order, you will have to pay at least £10 to send it back to them (in Spain). I now have a £20 trek hat that is too big by at least 2 inches I have to pay £10 to return. So I am out of pocket by £10, and don't even have a hat. Wouldn't mind paying so much if I was getting a replacement in the correct size. So annoyed. I wouldn't have ordered if I'd know they were shipping from outside the UK.
Great products but don't buy direct unless you have a lot of time on your hands, buy from a local store. My experience of their delivery service to the UK is terrible and their customer support simply points you to their tracking service, no apology, no sense of ownership. Buff ship from Barcelona, they missed their 4-8 day delivery estimate. From their tracking my parcel took 7 days to reach an "in transit" status and the local UK courier's tracking number reports "we don't have any updates, it can take up to 3 days to appear here" and we are on day 3.
Placed an order on their Canadian website. One of the items has an issue. They have not responded to my email complaining about this item, nor do they answer their phone. How bad is that?I might see if I can do a chargeback with my credit card company. I'm also trying to find a way to contact their head office in Spain. It's a shame that a company like this stays in business.
The most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. Had contact in the beginning then completely ignored my emails. Ordered a pc bundle never received it. Was lucky got in touch with wowcher through their WhatsApp and received a full refund.
It was by sold as buy one get one free but when I emailed them to select colours they said I was supposed to select the buy one get one free option, but this was too late and this was not stated on the website. I ordered a Large and received a tiny circular poor excuse of a mat that would not fit a chihuahua puppy in, so there was no chance for cavachon. I have emailed them but have not recieved a response. Avoid buying anything from this company.
Never received any order conformation or answers from emails requesting details of my order so had to claim money back with PayPal...Don't order from Buff.com, You've been warned.
Do not order anything online if you are in UK from this company. The products I have had before are great so I ordered online. Told to expect delivery by 20/12/21 by 23/12/21 still no parcel. The tracking provided when I ordered just says waiting for despatch. So having sent emails to ask for updates and had no responses I tried contacting the USA customer service as well, they responded straight away, but told me they couldn’t help as my order would be dealt with by European subsidiary. To this date still no reply from customer service to my emails about updates to my order or request for a refund. Dreadful customer service, will never buy their products again. Very disappointed ☹️
I ordered my item 13th March and it's only just been despatched on 18th March and is still in Spain tracking says awaiting despatch still.Update it's now 20th March and it's gone from Barcelona to Madrid per the tracking. I am in the UK waiting patiently.
Con Merchants I like others ordered a telescopic ladder on 12th November and like others received a set of cheap miniature screwdrivers Now not answering any emails TOTAL SCAM
Having a buff around my neck during COVID kept me ready to mask up all the time. Saved me a lot of grief during the pandemic

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
