Most people chose this company for the freebies. But I think it's not worth it. Customer service is available only via email, and they do a poor job. These terrible people might avoid your emails for weeks, and you will have to chase them. Even if you do that, there is no guarantee that these awful people with arrogant attitudes will respond with the help you need. It depends on their moods!

Brown Paper Tickets offers horrible service to its customers, but it offers even more awful customer service for those who reach out to them. This company and its management are so horrible that it even its employees sound like they hate being here. I don't recommend availing the services of this company unless you want to be annoyed and disappointed.

Management is a disaster: different rules applied to people in the same team. Targets are meaningless and are given without explanation. Employees are often expected to work long hours, including weekends. While you do encounter some of the most hard working people you will ever meet, sadly many of them are overworked, taken advantage of, and underpaid. I cannot stress the fact that most people dedicate their entire time making this a success just to be undervalued. If you have a chance, don't work here.

My small theatre company has been trying to get its money from our 2023 performances for almost ten months now to no avail. Events.com has pushed back the deadline on truant BPT payments three times now, and we have still not seen a cent. Hundreds of small artists have had this experience with this company. Their customer service doesn't exist, and neither does Event.com's. Do NOT use this company if you want to see any of your money.

These people are the worst. They helped us with a fundraiser event and then kept all the money themselves. Please avoid trusting these fake and evil people, or they will fool you, too. They lie blatantly and are quite shameless. We are taking legal action soon.

I have used BPT since about 2010 IIRC. They have always been enormously helpfully in projects I have managed. Helpful in getting started and creating box office(s) for these various projects. Altho' I haven't checked their rates in recent years they were the cheapest (IIRC) among similar operations when I began with them. An added advantage for me has been the very helpful people in their Edinburgh office which is the city I live in and where I have managed the various projects. Well worthy of a 5-star review in my opinion.

Zero stars. Brown Paper Tickets has been acquired by Events.com and is not paying its customers funds earned for events. There is zero accountability, no functioning support, no way to reach anyone by phone, web or email. Do not use this fraudulent, negligent, unaccountable company for your events, they are literally putting small non profits out of business. Many have reported them to the BB already.

As many people before, event was cancelled in 2020, transferred to late 2020 & cancelled again when further 2021 date announced (which was cancelled).Requested refunds numerous times from Brown Paper Tickets but never got anything more than an automated response. Raised a chargeback with my Credit Card company who refunded me the money.Book through someone else.

Please do NOT use this company. They owe millions to venue owners across the U.S. for events held at the beginning of the pandemic. They still owe us $6K for two concerts we held in March 2020! Despite a lawsuit in Sept. 2020 ordering them to repay they money they owe, they stopped after a portion of payments and now refuse to communicate with unpaid venue owners, offering no phone service and ignoring our emails. It's sickening to watch them continue to offer ticketing services for new events.

It's a huge struggle dealing with this horrible company and its incompetent customer service representatives. I've encountered so many issues transacting with this company, and none of them were ever resolved in my favor. This is the last time I will use this service! The customer service here is awful, and reaching out to the management is useless!

We are a San Diego Children's Rugby Club Not For Profit. We used Brown Paper Tickets to sell tickets for our annual celebratory event and fundraiser. We are still waiting on payment of over $13K. Contracts say payment within 10 days - we are now 24 days out. We have had no response from their support since our event ended. We are reaching out to Events.Com who bought the company. No response there either. We will be starting legal action.

Please do not purchase tickets from this firm. We booked tickets for an event last year which got cancelled due to covid and over 20 weeks later we still have not received a refund. They don’t have a customer service telephone number and don’t respond to any emails.

Purchased tickets for Bonfest in late 2019 for the event in May 2020 which was cancelled because of the pandemic. Despite being entitled to a refund, as of December 2021 I am still waiting for my refund of £100 from BPT UK. Emailed them, messaged on Facebook and even sent a recorded delivery letter with no response. Certainly on Facebook they have read my messages but ignore them. What makes it worse is I was unemployed for a year. An absolute disgrace and abomination of a company. I highly recommend never booking any event through them due to their appealing customer service. Purchased some concert tickets from BPT a couple of times and I received them quickly. I haven’t had any problems and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for easy access to tickets.

We are a small non profit that does a single event every year. 90% of our yearly income comes from ticket sales to that event. We are nearly 3 weeks past the date of the event and we have not received the proceeds from our ticket sales. The proceeds are due to us 10 days after the event according to Brown Paper Ticket policy. Our bills are due. No one has responded to our inquiries on how long it will take to get our funds.

This is a dream platform for event organizers. Quick to respond and disburse funds. We got paid what we were due – and that’s very important to sustain a business in the volatile events industry.

Used their platform to sell tickets, have waited 4 weeks since the event and still have not received the money, around $1,400. Likely a scam, check out their Better Business Bureau page. It's a joke they call themselves the "fair trade ticket platform."

Long story short...I purchased tickets in February for an event due to take place in May. Alas, the event got cancelled because of Covid.Brown Paper Tickets were notified by the organiser of the cancellation in April. They said refunds would be issued in two weeks. It's now about to tick into July and no-one has got their money back.Brown Paper Tickets have ignored all further attempts to contact them by the organiser and haven't even bothered to respond to any of my emails or messages. And they have shut down their UK customer services including the phone line.Yes, it is a hugely difficult time for the events industry but this is appalling customer services, especially from a supposedly ethical company. It's people like me who were trying to support local events that are out of pocket.Given that, the organiser is no longer going to use them for ticket sales.The only option I'm left with is to do a chargeback through my bank. Fingers crossed.

I have sent seven separate e-mails, only one of which has received anything more than an automated response. They cite "covid-related delays" as the cause for this problem. This makes no sense. Theatres are up and running. Pay-outs are done electronically, which means that they can be handled remotely. Brown Paper Tickets had no problem taking our money; they only seem to be suddenly stricken with Covid when it's time to disburse funds to their customers.
