We have done jigsaw puzzles for years including many from Bits and Pieces. As we were nearing completion of our last Bits and Pieces puzzle, we found several pieces were exact duplicates of other pieces and didn’t fit in the puzzle. The duplicate pieces were the same shape and the same picture. We also found a small section that had no pieces so we were not able to complete the puzzle.We contacted the company and sent several of the duplicate pieces with the letter. I said that I expected a response. When we didn’t get a response, I sent a second letter requesting a refund. Still no response. My thinking is that Bits and Pieces does not have a customer service department. We will not ever buy Bits and Pieces puzzles again and suggest that you do the same.
Ordered items 18th April, heard nothing except when I email for delivery update I get a Automated reply saying they are working but to allow 28 days for delivery. I have waited far more than 28 days but still cannot get an answer. Appalling even taking into account possible delays due to CovidOrder number 155211
Delivery took forever! Made 2 Xmas gift orders. Ordered 12/11/21 shipped via Fed Ex Smartpost and arrived - no kidding - on 1/18/2022! Over a month! Second gift ordered 12/10/21 shipped via Fed Ex Smartpost was delivered on 12/31/2021. So, gifts were not delivery in anything close to a timely manner. Never received any emails from Bits & Pieces after a sinlge shipping notice with tracking number for each order. Nothing saying delivery would be massively delayed.
This company were quite happy to take my money on 18th April for an item ‘in stock’. Sadly puzzle not yet arrived, now 18th May, very poor communication and I’ve very low expectations that I might receive jigsaw anytime soon. Think company got greedy & accepted orders that they can’t deliver on. Would suggest that you think twice before ordering from Bits & Pieces unless you’re prepared for a very long wait.
Ordered a couple of puzzles on the 16th April and received an order summary. I replied asking about shipping dates. I've now contacted them 3 times to try and find out what is happening and haven't had any reply. Reading the rest of these reviews I'm now very concerned and wouldn't recommend ordering from them.May 19th update: Still no products! I've received automated emails and one follow up asking for more details?! But nothing since. Reporting to trading standards.
Absolutely appalling. Part order turned up 9th April. No response to my email asking where the rest is. Customer services is a joke. No one answering the phones. We bought a cube puzzle box and could not move one of the sides of the box. Hoping this wasn't due to user error, we called customer service and explained our problem. They offered to refund our money, but we asked for a replacement. We just got it yesterday and were able to solve the puzzle box. We took the other box and carefully took it apart to find one piece was accidentally glued to another. So glad the customer service department took our complaint seriously and helped us out without any hassle.

Tried repeatedly to order four puzzles online. Kept saying my email address or registration wasn't correct; no matter what I tried. The puzzle table has finally arrived after several days of ringing the very unhelpful and expensive customer care people when it became overdue.Be aware that the delivery agreement states "as soon as possible" so no date is ever given. Also be aware that you will be charged £0.13 per minute (UK) when you call customer care and even when you order by phone unbelievable.The table did have minor damage to one corner but there's no way I'm going to return it, I'll probably never see a replacement. As you would expect, it was made in China.I will never buy from this company again and advise others to do the same.
I do not often make reviews excepting particularly good or particularly bad ones.The service from this company is appalling. A few weeks after ordering a jigsaw, I rang to check the progress only to be told by an inept sounding lady that the order had been cancelled. I questioned this only to be told that it is an American company and she just answers the phones. It seems there was no intention of informing me of the cancellation. Wish I had read the reviews before I ordered. It’s not a Canadian company, products are shipped from out of country and take too long to arrive. Products are garbage. Customer service is horrible and if you want to return something, it costs even more. I asked 3 times for a refund on the shipping cost because items arrived too late, but all they would offer was $5 off next order, like I’d ever order from them again. Definitely not worth it. I made a purchase online on October 6th 2020 and was charged $12.99 for shipping.I called today to find out the delivery status since it has already been 14 days and was told it has already been shipped and I would receive it this week.Upon logging in right now I see that it was just shipped out today and showing a delivery between 1-11 business days which means I could get it almost a month after my purchase.I would advise to call and find out the delivery time before making a purchase online.False information regarding delivery!!!!
I purchased a Glow in the Dark puzzle and once it was put together, it didn't glow. I contacted Bits and Pieces about the issue. They immediately sent a replacement puzzle no questions asked. This company went over and above the customer service standard to resolve the problem. I've ordered from Bits & Pieces for many years. This is the first issue I've experienced. They sell quality products and back what they sell. Their customer service is outstanding. I highly recommend Bits and Pieces for all ages.

Purchased 3 puzzle set from Amazon. Of three, only 1 puzzle was complete. One just missing 1 piece, other, whole corner missing. “Junk products. Shoppers beware!”
I bought 3 items from Bits and Pieces for Christmas gifts. Two of them turned out to be total disappointments. The "Fitzroy storm glass" was nothing more than a tube with water that did nothing! We left it undisturbed for over 2 weeks and nothing ever changed. The "amazing" hover ball came with zero directions. The first time we tried to use, It flew straight up into the light fixtures and crashed. Disappointing (and embarrassing) to give Christmas gifts that turned out to be junky. I called the company to get a return label, but was told they do not offer that service. I put the 2 items in a small box to return, and paid $17 for return postage! Never again! I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy! Waiting for my refund. I hope it comes through. However, I am still out $17. Value Shipping
“Flimsy table”
I bought a puzzle table for my teenage daughter for Christmas. The legs can lock in the closed position, but do not lock open when the table is in use. Additionally, her cat jumped up onto the table the very first day and the entire side of the table broke off. For $130 I certainly expected something that was more stable than this, it's incredibly flimsy. Not recommended if you have pets or kids, it will not survive. I ordered five items from this company in early November. I have not received two of them which were supposed to be Christmas gifts. I have sent numerous emails to them inquiring about the status and I continue to get poorly articulated responses that basically say "a customer case agent will review my order inquiry shortly." “False advertising and substandard customer service”
I wish I had read reviews prior to buying from Bits and Pieces! I ordered three items, one of which was a puzzle frame: https://www.bitsandpieces.com/product/20-x-27-black-frame for $29.99. You will note that the photo shows a shiny front, indicating a plastic front. When the product finally arrived after several weeks, it was packaged in a tube and was simply metal sides and the hardware to hold it together. I complained to the company to no avail and returned the product via USPS, the only choice since they use a P O Box. It cost $13.65 and when I requested a refund of postage for the inconvenience caused by their blatantly false advertising, Eddie in "customer service" said it was against their policy. (Do yourself a favor and order your frame from Walmart: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Mainstays-20x28-Rounded-Black-Poster-Frame/*******. It is $10.88 with free pickup or free shipping with a $35 order!)

Ordered two puzzles from this company. Waited several weeks for the delivery, which eventually arrived with two completely different puzzles to the ones we had ordered. No reasons given. Tried to call their inappropriately named "customer service" which incidentally is a premium rate line. No answer. Contacted them by email to request they correct their error. No response to that. Eventually, again several weeks later, had an email from them asking for me to provide my address, which they stated they did not have. Strange as it's on the order acknowledgment that they originally sent me. I forwarded this, and, you guessed it, no response again.

Ordered a wooden puzzle plateau that according to the ad would fit a 1000 piece puzzle. When received it was not big enough for the puzzle I ordered. I spoke with "customer care" because they also stated in their catalog that customer satisfaction is a priority. After speaking with them stating my problem they would do NOTHING to help. I was willing to pay shipment on the bigger item and the difference in the cost of the item. Really just asked them to cover the cost of the return which originally cost 14.95. I placed an order on September 26,2023 and my credit card was charged upon placing the order. A month later, I still have not received my order. Every time I check on the order status, the ship date is pushed out a few more days. I contacted customer service and they said my order was delayed by a glitch in their system, and that they were putting my order on priority. Just checked the order status, and shipping has been delayed AGAIN. Ridiculous service in this day and age when I regularly receive orders from other companies within a week. I received my Bits and Pieces puzzle as a Christmas gift. It had 8 missing pieces and 6 duplicate pieces when finished. “Gipped out of $13”
I was purchasing a few items on their site and noticed they had free shipping if my order was $50 or more. So I added an extra item to ensure I had free shipping. I later found out after placing my order that one of the items was now out of stock (it was not when I added it to my cart), and the total without that out of stock item put me below $50, and they charged me $13 for shipping. There was no notice, no option to substitute it. What sucks is without that out of stock item, my pre-tax and pre-shipping total was $49.98. Yep, two cents short. I contacted them via email to try to get this fixed, but all they offered was a $5 off code for a future order, which by the way, didn't work. I will never order from their site again. I have purchased over 50 puzzles in the last year and found the quality going down. The puzzle have bent pieces and will not stay locked together. “Con artists”
I wish I'd read the reviews about this company. (I ordered from the UK website). Order took 2 weeks (to be fair they do tell you it can take that long), but when arrived half of it was missing. When I called them they said the missing item was discontinued' which was odd, as it was just the same t-shirt in a different size. But what really made me mad was that they had taken payment against my credit card but said a refund would be done by cheque and that wouldn't be sent out till the New Year, claiming they were unable to issue a refund against a credit card. I'm very sceptical that it's actually going to arrive. I'd recommend finding a reputable company to order from.

I ordered some jigsaws at the end of March! Was still waiting for them to be delivered weeks after. Contacted them via e mail, no reply! Eventually rang them to be told one of them was out of stock! I recently ordered from Bits and Pieces. I placed my order at the end of November. They have good products but after my order was placed I started receiving emails offering better discounts and sometimes free shipping which was annoying. The order took a couple of weeks to arrive and one item was missing. Okay, that happens. Emailing customer service didn't receive a response for a few days. Meanwhile I called and the customer service representative was great about fixing the mistake but even with rush shipping on the replacement it won't arrive in time for me to get it to the recipient in time for Christmas.
