bell.ca Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives bell.ca one of the higher trust scores on the platform: 84.5. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same results. So, why this score? We came up with the 84.5 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to bell.ca's industry. The algorithm detected little high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, as noted in the Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure. tags above. Long story short, we deem this a secure website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning bell.ca, let's look closer at the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between bell.ca and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of bell.ca. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of bell.ca, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. bell.ca is an authentic, safe website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether bell.ca has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether bell.ca boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, bell.ca.

It is the worst company in human history! They are doomed! Never try to install internet services with them; just find any other company. I beg you never to use their services. “44.4% increase month over month for 1.5Gbps fiber internet”
Here are the facts on my 1.5 Gbps Internet only: Oct 2024 bill (taxes included): $CDN 72.44 Nov 2024 bill (taxes included): $CDN 104.63! Being a Bell shareholder I know that this increase strangely coincides with their recent acquisition of Ziply Fiber (USA's Nort West Fibre optic internet provider) for $CDN 7,000,000,000. Are we Canadians paying for this acquisition? I called to complain and I was shopping at the same time for my new provider (and chatting with them), and I did say that to the person at Bell. Funny enough, I can get a 1 Gbps service (enough for our needs) for $CDN 61.07 (taxes included) from Ebox, which will travel exactly on the same optical fiber, and Ebox is 100% owned by Bell. It's a case of self cannibalism I guess! The only offer made by the Bell person from the retention department? Reduce the speed to 1 Gbps for a total price (taxes included) of $CDN 97.75! 60% more expensive than Ebox, and it represents $CDN 440.16 more per year. Products used:1.5 Gbps internet service by optic fiber from Bell Canada.
“Terrible Cell Reception”
We switched to Bell Mobility from Rogers as we were told that there were more towers where we live. We should have stayed with Rogers because we have very little to no service in our area. Call drops and not being able to hear us. It is a joke for what we pay a month for our services we can use. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“Lucky to get 1 star, won't allow 0”
Changed my internet service to Bell high speed after a campaign they launched. Sounded good so I went for it and had it installed at the start of this year. They installed the cable in through the back of the house through the back deck and then left about 400 feet of cable on top of the ground out to the street, it's a 3 acre property. The cable gets lost in the grass between me and my neighbours house. Both of us have to move it to park our cars or mow the grass. They said somebody would come and bury it initially. It's now the end of June, I have called them 3 times and get the runaround. It's quite frustrating, I let them know last week that I wouldn't be paying my bill until the job is finished so they actually book it in to be finished last Friday between 8-12 so I took the day off work. Nobody showed up. Basically the product is impressive, it's a shame everything that surrounds the products has a foul smell. Choose somebody else.
“Hasn't been any new features in a long time for bell Fibe TV app”
There hasn't been an update in a long time for new stuff to bring to the TV guide for Bell and new ways to watch TV before the time they come on for TV shows and movies to access TV shows and movies before the days they come on and colourful TV Guide 😀😀 thank you for making bell TV app so amazing with all the new features and a new feature where you can view all the live TV channels that are playing on the TV Guide and watch them from anytime for that channel you guys are amazing Tip for consumers:There hasn’t been an update in a long time for new stuff to bring to the TV guide for Bell and new ways to watch TV before the time they come on for TV shows and movies to access TV shows and movies before the days they come on and colourful TV Guide 😀😀 thank you for making bell TV app so amazing with all the new features and a new feature where you can view all the live TV channels that are playing on the TV Guide and watch them from anytime for that channel you guys are amazing Products used:Bell Fibe TV app Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“Waste of money”
I am paying $67/month for nothing. My internet doesn't work (1202 error) and Bell has tried their generic solutions to fixing it (including sending a tech), but nothing works... yet Bell continues to take my money. I continue to get no wifi. Tip for consumers:I am paying $67/month for nothing. “Misleading customers with fake codes”
I bought pizza pizza which came with a Crave 2 months basic free coupon. I couldn't redeem it. Called Crave and was told after 30 minutes of doesn't work on Tv-s connected through Roku. Guess that device am having is too smart for them. What a waste of my time from these liars.
“1 star is way more than they ever deserve”
Worst mobile provider! Bell is a suck you in for worst reception and price gouging after you sign up. Don't make the same mistake I did. Go with any other provider, even Koodo is better. I switched to Bell and worst mistake ever, I've been dealing with a nightmare of unimaginable proportions. I'm literally pulling my hair out talking to their customer service. Fu.ck this company Products used:Mobile Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“Worse experience ever”
Worse experience ever. Spent one and a half hour on the phone a month ago to cancel my internet subscription because the facture almost doubled. I immediately sent back the router and got the confirmation email. One month later, I get a 110$ bill because apparently "I went back to the store to reopen my account". Don't even know where the store is, and don't even own their router. They know that. But they are okay with reopening previous clients accounts, making them pay for no service provided. I spent again one hour on the phone trying to get refunded (because they owed me 60$ from the month before as well, that they promised me) for THEIR mistake, but they played dumb, trying to sell some TV subscription instead. Would never recommend their overpriced services and the mess it was to get it cancelled. Products used:Used the internet router for 2 years before they doubled my subscription and made my life hell just to cancel it Service Value Returns Quality
“Can't cancel”
Imagine cancelling your phone plan and being told you didn't. Then having to sit through a phone call after waiting on hold and having to answer security questions (2x since they have to transfer you over). Imagine doing this 1x a month. What a chore. This is what happens when you go with Bell. What a joke.
“AWFUL!”
AWFUL! Made me pay $600+ for a mistake they made, took months of battling to get the money back, and sold me a watch confirming it would work without my phone when they actually don't have a plan that supports standalone! Spent hours on the phone with them for nothing, and want me to pay (again...) $600+ to cancel everything I have with them when their part of the contract has not been respected! WORST SUPPLIER EVER! “Bell screwed me over, again.”
We had Bell wireless internet in our house. For 2 years, horrible. Not reliable and would need to be reset daily. Had 3 modems sent to us and same issue. Eventually left for Roger's and night and day difference. Never a problem. Bell came back and offered new wireless fiber optics in our are, great discount and price. 3 days and it failed again. Talking to representative and 9 pm, 30 minutes later advised that modem will need to be replaced. I work from home and cannot miss 3 shifts. Representative Jen advised they can give a $15 credit. Then after the new modem is in I can speak to retention to see if they will offer any compensation for missed days. Asked to speak with a supervisor and was told no. It's okay though. ROGERS CANADA was there before 8 am putting internet back in. Bless you Rogers for fixing Bell mess up. Products used:Fiber optics wireless internet Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“Bell cheated me”
Bell called me and offered some TV program. I rejected the offer. But few hour later, I received the email from Bell. The email said I ordered the TV program (Order # BGQPZ2N2). I rejected the offer but Bell just ordered it without my permission. Bell deceived their customers, I don't know how Bell do the business like this. I was really disappointed with Bell
“Bad & poor network”
I am uber driver usually i am on the road since more than 2 months i lost bell network no signals of bell Canada because of that problem my uber app stop to work my phone said that bell Canada network failed i called them they Said your sim does not catch signals i have so many drivers friends they told me the same bell canada network problem.i am paying 120$ every month with that amount I can't use my network for my uber business. Finally i called 4th time to bell canada i told them not to call me back for anyother renewal of mobile contract the agent wasn't able to speak fluent English she said okk…even bell canada hided their rating at their own website because their ratings are 1.2 I don't know how this company is running this kind of cheap level business why people are going & taking mobile phone contract with them so poor experience i will never attend their call again …poor pathetic bell canada Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“Bell's Fibre Optic Service”
About eight months ago Bell was running a promotion in my area for their Fibre Optic service. I decided to give it a try. IMMEDIATELY after it was finally all set up there was a grating thumping noise coming thru the speakers. Playing music would drown it out BUT watching a show with no music was an exercise in absolute frustration and stress having to listen to this in the background. I called Bell tech and was immediately told it was not Bells equipment but mine. I assured tech that it was not an issue until I went over to Bell and again was told it was my equipment. After about eight months of listening to this constant noise and them raising their rates I decided to go with another provider. I'm saving over $30.00 a month and the noise is gone! I could not be happier and should have done it much sooner. I CANNOT AND DO NOT RECOMMEND BELL. OVERPRICED AND POOR TECH SUPPORT. Tip for consumers:Save your time, money and frustration and find another provider. :) Products used:Fibre Optic Internet Service Service Value Quality
“Un fair Billing Practice”
My experience with Bell Internet has taken a turn for the worse due to their unethical rate increases 3 times in 2 years. Initially, I signed up for their service with a specific pricing plan with 3 years contract of fixed rate, thinking I could rely on a stable and affordable connection. However, my trust in Bell was shattered when they suddenly raised their rates without any prior notice or explanation. In conclusion, my experience with Bell Internet's rate increase has been disheartening and infuriating. The lack of transparency, declining service quality, and poor customer support have left me feeling like just another dollar sign to them. I would caution anyone considering Bell as their internet provider to think twice, as their business practices do not reflect a company that values its customers' loyalty and satisfaction. Tip for consumers:n/A Products used:N/A Service Value
“Overchargers”
Bell has been overcharging me since initially subscribing with them, all due to internal bells fault After numerous calls, hours spent with customer service, and their full understanding that it is a glitch in a system they continue to overcharge $11.35 a month extra Its not the money but not getting my channels and having to pay extra even if its only 10 bucks is silly beyond approach What a waste of a good company they become Service Value Quality
“Horrible service”
Most of the customer representatives are rude and could care less about the company. Any company is better than bell. I would never use them again. They trick and cheap people out of their money.
“They suck more than anything in this world”
If i could give negative 5 i would. This company doesn't care about anyone or anything. They take advantage of everyone and their products don't work and when you try to address it they blame you. If you enjoy being used and abused and money thrown down the toilet then use at your own risk. “Please boycott bell”
I can't begin to complain about how frustrating it is to have customer service from a country half way across the world. There is a social and language barrier and half the time these agents have o idea what the hell you're speaking about let alone resolve the issues. Highest taxes, cost of living in the world and we have to deal with third rate customer service. Please cancel. Your services with been canada until those cheap bastards can employ Canadians. Penny pinching bastards. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“Bell B.S”
On my bell bill it stated that channels had free previews.I contacted bell only to find out that they were unwilling to provide those channels to anyone but new customers.Funny thing though i know people that have been with bell for years that are receiving them. They flat out lied to me.My service is up August 2023 i will give you 1 guess on at what im going to do!
“Waste of time”
Opened a business mobility account, it was suspended for ID validation. Came to Bell store, spent 2 hours showing DL, bank statements, utility bills etc, the refused since Certificate of Incorporation shows different address, company registered 20+ years ago, no wonder we moved to another location not even once since that time. So far wasted 5 hours talking to time wasters over the phone Tip for consumers:I would like to talk to someone in Bell to file a complain Products used:still using Telus Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“Poor service”
2 days my business internet is down. They are kept on saying they will get it fixed at their end but still not fixed yet. It is a very poor service and business Is close for 2 days. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“Bell customer service”
To Whom it May Concern, I went into the Bell store in Mayfair Mall in Victoria, BC today and I reported that I lost my phone. Customer service rep Brittaney helped me and in no time had located my phone on your device. It was in my apartment all along. Thank-you Brittaney for your quick thinking, being so computer savvy, kind demeanour and for locating my phone! Thank-you! Susan Johnston
“Customer for over 20 years! No Loyalty Rewards”
Despite all the competition, Bell doesn't care about maintaining long term clients. IPhone upgrades are more expensive than original contract. After a 3 year contract where FREE upgrades were agreed to, Bell has reneged and is charging over $500 for a new iPhone. After 6 months: Customer Retention has responded. I am not TOTALLY satisfied but we reached an agreement. WORTH PURSUING.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies this service works and is trustworthy. It costs only $6.49/month but is worth the cost. U.S., UK, EU, Swiss, and Canadian residents only. Click below.
