badoo.com Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives badoo.com a fairly high trust score on the platform: 80.8. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Fair. Valid. Known.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 80.8 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to badoo.com's industry. The algorithm detected a low risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Fair. Valid. Known. tags above. Long story short, we deemed this a known website, with a low scam probability. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning badoo.com, let's look closer at the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between badoo.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of badoo.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of badoo.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. badoo.com is an innocuous suspicious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether badoo.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether badoo.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, badoo.com.

“They're absolutely terrible company. Buyer beware don't spend your money.”
They are an absolute terrible company to deal with buyer. Beware don't spend your money. I think after my subscription and my credits are out. I'm gonna cancel everything because the company is a total waste of time and money and energy. And I never did a thing wrong either. Tip for consumers:Just save your money and use a different dating service because this company is brutal. I’ve had to contact them for the past two days because they told that my credits expired and they don’t expire because I bought them through Apple. Products used:It’s a dating service and save your money and don’t deal with this company at all. Buyer beware .
“Badoo violates”
They are essentially stealing information when they don't delete personal data on the account example pictures after an unfair block. People unite who have been wronged by them to make a report to the authorities about Badoo as they violate Privacy laws of your country like in Canada.
“Should be illegal”
Filled with fake accounts that constantly delete themselves. Most profiles that are 'near' you are actually in South America or SE Asia. App charges you for the littlest thing. Such a blatant scam. I can't believe this is allowed Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“100% Fraud”
It is Friday, Sept 22,2023. I signed up on Tuesday of this week, 9/19/23... and immediately got messages from some inappropriately young, incredibly good looking, obvious fake profiles. So, on to the real activity after deleting all of the immediate crap. The one huge problem, is there really are very few women on the site. Most are not in the area their profile states... and are just looking for $$$. I'm shocked at how bad it is...and have deleted the app entirely. Good luck...
“The user-friendly interface provided me with a seamless journey right from the moment I signed up.”
As a newcomer to the online dating scene, I was initially apprehensive about navigating through various platforms. However, my experience with badoo completely shattered any doubts I had. The user-friendly interface provided me with a seamless journey right from the moment I signed up. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“Den”
I was a paying customer for less than a week before I deleted my profile. Baddoo is a haven for criminals and scammers. Every single person that contacted me was a scammer and not from my country even though had the filter set to a 50 mile radius. When I viewed the scammer's profile they were years old, which told me Baddoo does not police their site and made a den of thieves. This site is not safe and should be banned from the United States. Service Value
“Hmmm”
It seems all these guys are looking to hook up off this site and getting the run around they're getting scammed, and reporting fake profiles. I learned from industry reports that the males on any date site ratio to females is about 80 to 1 on the straight sites and about 300 to 1 on the purported hookup sites. You have better odds in a crowded bar. If I want a hookup I go to the sites where I can do just that whenever I want to and leave these phoney sites alone. It always seems these users credit cards get overcharged and hit with recurring charges which I don't doubt. I can't for the life of me figure out why people who want a little sugar honey avoid the real deal and sign up on a phoney site. Value
“Scammers Inc.”
Infiltrated with scammers using Chinese women pictures. They chat you up with fake background, pictures etc. trying to get your to do online business or invest in phoney markets so you've to transfer $ to them.
“Badoo is doodoo!”
First, let's pull the coat on the plethora of scammers and fake profiles on this site. Badoo takes no security measures to prevent these fraudulent profiles. Infact, this has become a breeding site for leeches and parasites alike, and badoo helps to feed them. Now let's talk about how Badoo steals money from members and legit profilers by mysteriously and surreptitiously losing a member's information and blocking their profiles after Badoo has charged money on a members account. If it smells like crap, it's definitely $#*!! Service Value
“FAKE ACCOUNT”
I pulled a Truthfinder report on myself out of curiosity and I was linked to having a "Badoo" account. I have NEVER been on this site and I did NOT sign up for one. Someone is using my information and images on their site. I have contacted "Badoo" support and provided the link. I sincerely hope this gets resolved ASAP! Not cool. Tip for consumers:SCAM Products used:FAKE PROFILE Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“$#*!ty site”
I am using Badoo on PC and first they crippled the portal so it looked like $#*! on PC and now they changed authentication method from username/password to sending verification email. Except they don't send any email. I checked spam and searched inbox. They never sent any email. So they effectively locked me out of the Badoo account. Site is run by bunch of idi0ts.
“AVOID!”
Since January, Badoo Europe has become massively infested with AI-generated fakes - there are thousands. There are also active hackers, scammers, thieves, & dangerously illegal aliens - but Badoo has taken no action against most complaints. I have screenshots of literally hundreds of AI fakes, but have to Photoshop out my identity 1st. Tip for consumers:Dangerous site, even with extensive computer protection. Products used:Dating service Service Value Quality
“Unauthorised Payments Scam”
I made a purchase for 1 week premium using my debit card and then 2 minutes later Badoo took an unauthorised payment for 40 euros. Do not give them your card/bank details under any circumstances or they will steal money from you. Banks should block this company as they are just scammers stealing money. Disgraceful. Tip for consumers:DO not give Badoo credit card details or they will scam you Service Value Quality
“Fake people”
I met this guy on Badoo and his name was Jason and we talked for weeks everyday all day and I found out he was married and his name wasn't Jason but Alex Hays and it was embarrassing and humiliating and hurtful. You can basically put whatever you want on this site and if you are a good person you will be a target for these people. Service Value Quality
“Billing scam!”
I was charged twice for the same transaction (that I did not authorize). 2 transactions at the exact same time. Badoo billing practices are illegal. The use many sneaky tricks and fraud people. I set my account to never auto-bill me, but there are too many built-in deceptive ways to trick users spending. Paypal declines all requests for refunds because badoo has "proof" that you entered an agreement with them.
“I've been loyal but hurt”
I've been on Badoo for about 2 years but recently when I tried to unlock premium I got charged but never received it. I'm very disappointed because they make it so hard to contact them through normal procedures like email or text. Everywhere I looked online just directed me to other websites or more BS. This is the reason I avoided other websites but now it seems to be a general practice with all these websites, like the read charge just to see if someone is actually reading your text. I guess it doesn't matter anymore that there are people really trying to connect, they just want there euros/dollars. I'm not sad about losing my €2.10 but I will be reporting them to the proper authorities for a scam as it apparently happens more often than not. The End.
“Unauthorised charges”
I spent £1.90 on premium for 1 day. I check my bank account a few minutes later to see that they've taken an additional £39 for 'credits' that I did NOT authorise, want, or get any request to purchase. I've submitted an unauthorised payment ticket with paypal. Hopefully I can wash my hands of this soon. For your own wallet's safety, don't touch Badoo's premium service.
“How I got my money back from Badoo's top-up scam”
Badoo uses pre-ticked check boxes to trick users into buying things they didn't intend to. This is in breach of British and EU regulations. I complained to customer service, but they just stopped replying after a while. However, after I alerted my bank that I had been subjected to internet fraud, I got a full refund of my credit card purchases. The great thing about this is that Badoo will lose their standing with credit card companies over time. I used the enclosed picture as proof.
“Scam”
I did accept to pay $7 for one week. At my surprise, they were charging me an extra for $50 at each day without my permission. Taking it straight from my PayPal account. So far, they scam me for 3 days worth of $150. Looks, they use sneaky tricks to steal users. Please, don't even think of getting involve with Badoo. They are a group of mafia
“BEWARE OF THEIR ONE CLICK SCAM”
Terrible company with 0 values to their members. They will incur big charges on your account for supposedly non refundable one click payments they mention of their "fine Print" and you accept. It doesn't matter you complain immediately after their charge they will not refund you the money and tell you you should have read their fine print policy. Please BEWARE of this company as it is obvious they have structured this policy along with their "one click customer convenience purchase" on purpose to steal money from their members. There are a lot of the same complains online. BEWARE!
“Ignorance and stupidity of Badoo”
My recommendation for people like myself on Badoo is, avoid Badoo from wasting time, money and save head from headache! Full of scammers fake profiles there's no thing interesting to keep me there anymore, enough is enough! Products used:None of above! Service Value Quality
“Basic common sense!”
It's the same as any other site. There's honest and dishonest people on it. You get enough perks for free to find a date so no need to pay them anything. For $#*! sake everyone knows that or at least should.
“Be careful what you click on!”
I am an experienced user of online dating sites and have grown wise to the ways they try to extort extra money out of you, however my experience with Badoo has definitely topped the lot. With my card details saved from a previous purchase, I *apparently* clicked on the default option of Lifetime Membership instead of Back. One wrong click and I'm billed £120 instantly! Their own terms and conditions outline a full refund is offered, yet Customer Service are trying to squirm out of refunding me with a nonsensical argument. I will take them to a claims court if I have to. Avoid! The free service is worthless to your average guy anyway.
“Badoo is ok, well executed for a dating website...”
Badoo is ok, well executed for a dating website... the people not so much. Within my first hour of joining i received 50 messages. After weeding out the weirdos i ended up replying to 5. Great choices. I ended up meeting only one. We hit it off dated for a few months and now married. Expecting our first child. Anyway... my point being if you talk long enough and take your time messaging and not being so pushy, you might actually find someone worth your while.
“BAD DATING SITE”
This is the worst dating site ever they blocked my account for something I didn't do and won't reactivate it people be careful with this site they can screw you over worst dating app every don't go here

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies this service works and is trustworthy. It costs only $6.49/month but is worth the cost. U.S., UK, EU, Swiss, and Canadian residents only. Click below.
