We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 81.2 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to aternos.org's industry. The algorithm detected a low risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Fair. Valid. Known. tags above. Long story short, we deemed this a known website, with a low scam probability. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning aternos.org, let's look closer at the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between aternos.org and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of aternos.org. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of aternos.org, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. aternos.org is an innocuous suspicious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether aternos.org has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

The server took way too long to start up, what a waste of time. Improve your loading times please aternos, I hate this
Aternos is simply the best, it's totally free, it's capacity is amazing, and I have nothing to say! Keep up the good work!
There's a massive list of companies they're selling your data to, and to deny all of them you have to spend 10 minutes scrolling and clicking everything they opt in automatically for you.Normal websites have an refuse all button and the fact that this website doesn't speaks volume.
Y'all need to calm down about the lagging and ad blocker, be glad that you could even host a server in the first place without PAYING any fees. If you don't like it so much, go pay for one, no other options, OTHERWISE just deal with it.I'm grateful that this hoster is a thing cause I can finally cross play with all of my friends and we have the best time while this hoster does everything well, it got everything you need to get a functioning server and that's all you'll need, quality should never be expected for something free,This should be a lesson to everyone.
It's bad overall, It's filled with glitches and bugs. It has once teleported me in the void because I was going down a flight of stairs quickly, and also teleported me into a lava pit.
my server THAT I PUT FRICKING MONTHS OF WORK INTO GOT RESET BICUS I DIND PLAY ON IT FOR A MONTH AND NO THERES NO F###### AUTO BUCK UP SYSTEM SO ITS ALL FRICKING GONE
Me and my friend started using aternos on 18. may 2024 and we plan on using it until 4.september.In the start everything was fine until recently we've been getting tps spikes and lag, despite having a strong computer. Also the queue sometimes you can wait up to an HOUR to start the server(mainly in summer) and on top of that if you don't click the button saying "Continue"(or something like that) the server won't even start, so you have to wait in the queue AGAIN.That's the reason i'm switching to hosting my own server on my own computer.

This host deletes unused servers after 3 months and is so laggy even says "Its free forever" and ftp doesnt exist because "Plugins or mods uploaded to your server run on our hardware. They might contain suspicious software code which is then executed in our environment." that means that we would install malware on our device too. 1 out of 5. Falixnodes is better
have to wait in queue for most of the time and even after waiting for the 40 min the server doesn't start it just turns off on its own causing us to wait for another 40 min and that continues forever so are we not able to play now what the hell this is so bad and it has been happening since a month.
it should have a pterodactyl panel and it should have more ram and you can upload your own files and it should have sftp and it should have more things and there should be no startup time to know when the server stops and maybe 10 servers should be prepared and it should be 0/24 and maybe a port give and database and maybe add your own things, eg plugins and modsbut it should be very strong and have good protection and be more advanced and have more new things and these should be free
Aternos good sides: automated setupAternos bad sides: old ass intel hardware, no plugin freedom, no mods freedom, no custom jars, supports only minecraft, server takes up to 15 minutes to startWhy, why is this hosting still getting hundreads of thousands of players every day??? I am amazed by how dumb people can beDon't try playing on this hosting, you are gonna die because of lag after an hour
its not the most versatile and does get laggy at times,i also noticed that the render distance is capped for the servers at 5 or 6 chunks im pretty sure, but its free!yo ucan play whenever you want, if you can pay for a server i wouldn't recommend a free one since it comes with complications, a premium server that is high quality is worth it for the best experience,
I made a server for create mod and i didnt want to play Server was with more than 20 people once didnt crash or anything! Now i understand some people might not agree but aternos is enough for 2-10 people. Now it does have some drawbacks like queues but tbh i dont mind them It has a great selection of server types like spigot and forge or fabric even Arclight! i like aternos and it will be my goto for free small servers. If i want something better i might check out exatron Which i heard is really good from my friends! but nothing can beat having a dedicated server at home. 5 stars 10/10 would recommend
Aternos is One of the Wurt websites ive used in Minecraft History.1.The servers lag if to many pepoole2. Your able to hack to get acsess to the server console3. your able to corrupt the server easlie4. it times out at random occasions5. it takes to long to load the server6. The company allows their users to advertise their aternos Minecraft servers on other users in their Minecraft server/discord.7.Support team genuinely sucks8.ram is really slow9.forget about lesser known plugin10.nags you about adblocker11.horrible queue12.restarts randomly13.fails to save
the only thing good about it is where you can get your mods and plugins automatically installed and it's free but has little ram and loads of lag
Me and my friends have been play Minecraft for a while now so we took a break from our server for a few months and now its gone unhelpful and lazy staff. The only way you can keep your server is by not being idle for three months so you cant take a break from Minecraft and that suck. Overall terrible just terrible
Good until you get "suspended" (banned forever) because they dont want you to use discord bots to start and stop the server remotely. Also your server and your backups are deleted so no comming back on another service+ Many crashes during gameplay that lead to data loss.+ can't import own datapacks and mods+Lag, when you mine a block it disapears 2 minutes later (not joking this actually happened with no mods just vanilla)
I can't freaking believe people are seriously complaining about this server hosting, like.. it's free? These developer/s, are providing something, where we can share joy with our friends, so think about it when you write something similar later on and know 0 about it.
Despite its popularity, Aternos.org leaves much to be desired as a Minecraft server. The most glaring issue is the slow loading of chunks, a problem that persists even with ample RAM. This results in a laggy gaming experience that detracts from the enjoyment of Minecraft. While it's true that Aternos is a free service, its performance issues make it a less than ideal choice. There are other free Minecraft services that offer a smoother, more enjoyable gaming experience. The saying "you get what you pay for" rings true in this case. If you're serious about your Minecraft server, investing in a paid server, even a cheap one, is a far better option. Aternos may be free, but its performance issues mean it doesn't live up to the promise of a good gaming experience.

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
