aspire.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives aspire.com a medium-risk trust score on the platform: 69.5. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Known. Vetted. Low Risk.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 69.5 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to aspire.com's industry. The algorithm detected a slightly lower risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, noted in the Known. Vetted. Low Risk. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying vigilant and using common sense when engaging with this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning aspire.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between aspire.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of aspire.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of aspire.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. aspire.com is likely a safe website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether aspire.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether aspire.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, aspire.com.

Got a second card with them. They messed up on the card and it does not show up despite them charging me for the card. Highly incompetent. I would not do business with these guys.
Shame more people don't check ratings before signing up. Got an account with them over 2021. Always low balance under $300. On-time payments, the whole jazz after stupidly paying their robbery $100 signon fee. Then out of the blue they closed it without warning, claiming past-due, late payments, which was an utter lie. BS'ing on Experian etc. that I was a bad debt, when the balance was nearly paid off. They should be accountable and shut down for deception. Which thankfully a few have done, filing suits against them (two already won!)
I canceled a payment. They reversed it, but still submitted it to my bank. And charged me a $30 fee for it not being there! 😆 Don't get this card. What is the point in offering the option to cancel a payment if they're still going to draft your account?
On May 23rd I called in as stated in my last review and cancelled the card due to the fees. Then on May 28th I called in again because I was charged the "Annual fee" to have the card and was told I could reactivate the card, I would just have to wait until the next billing cycle to use the card for purchases. So I wait. Well, today I make another early payment as usual and notice that the card is still inactive. I call in again and am told that my card was closed systematically because I never agreed to the terms. The supervisor pulled up the last notes and says I see you did agree to the terms on the 28th of May, but there is nothing I can do because the account was closed on June 7th. I hope they fire the employee who lied to me and said my card would be reactivated. I do not recommend getting this card since they cant seem to get there stuff together.
So got this card when my credit wasn't so hot. It was fine until I tried to cancel it. The fees become unacceptable with a $10 monthly maintenance fee on top of the annual fee. No way to cancel online. Long term consequences for accepting this card. Immoral company as far as I'm concerned. Not recommended for Seniors who are not tech savvy as they only communicate via the app, email.
Scammer and a spammer, asked time after time to have my details removed but they email me 3 times a day trying to get me to sign up to their card. Why can't authorities take action against companies like this just read their other reviews
ASPIRE IS A SCAM!! After having this card for over a year they out of nowhere started charging me extra $5 month for what they call “MAINTENANCE FEE” They said I signed a agreement in my application that I agree with their terms and conditions. I now have to pay high interest, I also have to pay additional $5. If I close my account my credit score goes down.
Using dark web affiliation to cyber harasse people with their scamming offers. We've reported them the affiliate link but they continue working with this hacker (I guess he's bringing them too many victims). Please ban this hacker if you want to become one day a respected company and not a scam for ever
THE CARD WAS EASY TO GET BUT THEY CHARGE A MONTHLY FEE I TRYED TO CLOSE THE CARD AND THOUGHT I DID BUT THEY KEEP CHARGING ME A MONTHLY FEE. I HAD MY BANK DO A CHARGE BACKFOR THE UNAUTHERISED FEE, S THEN THEY REPORTED MY ACCOUNT DELINQUENT TO THE CREDIT BUREAU, S MAY BE I CAN SUE THEM
Having had the TBOM Aspire card for two years with no issues, I received an email concerning an important Notice of Change to my account. I admit that I often fail to read these but this time I did. Now my "no cost / no fees" account will be assessed a monthly maintenance fee of $5 per month (albeit small, it is still a $60 a year fee). This card has my lowest credit limit of over ten cards (many over $15,000) so I do not need it; however, dropping a card with a two-year history will indeed affect my credit score for an unknown period. When I immediately called, expecting to be transferred to a retention specialist, I was simply told that by not accepting their updated terms, my card would be cancelled immediately. So much for valuing their "good" customers (my current score is well over 750 with all of the three bureaus). Please consider twice before accepting the Aspire card's new terms...
This company is a financial predator. Payments made on your account AFTER 5 pm on the due date is considered late and is assessed a late fee of $ 29.00. This is the only credit card company out of 8 cards in my wallet that rape customers this way. And then you technically have a late payment on your account. I paid on the due date at 5:15 this month after getting home from work a few minutes late. I was charged a 29.00 fee. I called them up told them to shove their credit card right up their corporate ass. Better lose a few points off my FICO score, than continuing to be raped monthly by this predator financial institution.
Aspire lured me in offering a credit card with no annual fees or any other fees for just having the card. Then, when I had the card for almost a year, I received a letter from them informing me that they would start charging me a "monthly maintenance fee." The fee is $5 a month, but that adds up to $60 a year--all for just having the card. I tried to cancel my account, but the person or bot on the chat made it very difficult and told me that I would still have to pay the new fee until my balance was paid off. This company is basically a white-collar scam. They are getting rich from this shady practice, preying on ordinary people who have to watch every dime. Imagine how much they are raking in stealing $5 a month from thousands of people.
I've been trying for 2 months to get my account straight. They messed up a payment the end of December, said that the bank returned it. Bank says I have never had anything returned on my account. Two months later and they still won't remove fees for their mistake. I made a payment the end of January to catch up their mistake, minus fees, and for February. Using the same bank info as the one they claimed returned. They applied it to the fees only and now say that I am two months behind in payments, and surprise more fees for being late. 🤯
This company(Aspire) is a fraud; they posted a charge on my account for $1,344.03 and claimed it was from Alternative Airlines (I have never used this company). I reported it as fraud immediately while the transaction was still pending. They not only approved it, but they, are also refusing to investigate and won't remove the charge from my bill.I have try contacting Alternative Airline and this is was the told me: Good day,Thank you for your email,I have spoken with our accounts team, and if you have a payment dispute, your bank will need to investigate the transaction. LeilaCustomer Service Executive Alternative AirlinesThis is what Aspire post on my bill:TRANS DATE POST DATE DESCRIPTION OF TRANSACTION AMOUNT08/10/22 08/10/22 ALTERNATIVE AIRLINES 18883750094 DE $1,344.03
I opened an account with Aspire after I got bad marks on my credit from the government shutting down my business for a year during Covid. They promised a credit line increase after six months. I never received that. I paid my card on time and in full for over a year and they refused to raise my credit limit. I would stay away from Aspire if you are someone who intends to do all the right things associated with a credit card. I believe they like people who miss payments or have late payment so they can make extra money on penalties and fees. I was a perfect customer and when I told them I would close my credit line if I didn't get an increase, they couldn't close it fast enough. It was FU and bye. They could not have cared less. At lease I'm comfortable in the fact that they will no longer receive any revenue from my account. SAY NO TO ASPIRE if you really aspire to be better with your credit.
This credit card company is SCUM ! I had this card for over one year, used it sparingly however because I "DID NOT" max the card out on a monthly basis they decided to downgrade my credit line. I have over $100K in my credit line and over 740 plus FICO. (Buyer Beware !!) Run from this card......
It’s no wonder why they only have a 3 star review. I’m surprised it’s not 1 star. I have applied 5 times in 3 years and have NEVER been approved. Such a lie. The ONLY good thing is that it is not an inquiry in the credit report. Save time and do NOT apply.
Received the credit card$99 monthly feeThey wanted to sell me somethingTook 25 minutes of me talking with someone and did not activate the cardThe card still doesn’t work, but they have my $75
AVOID THEM!!Make a report to the web address written on my user name so as to regain
I’m glad I’m getting this chance to get approved for a credit card

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
