Is amplifon.com Legit?

Booking an appointment was really easy. The receptionist was the nicest and most helpful. The audiologist was professional. She explained the process every step of the way. She explained the results very well. I left with no doubt about the state of my hearing.

1st Class service. Had to change my appointment twice due to travel plans changing but this was no issue whatsoever. Very friendly and helpful staff. The Audiologist (Will) was extremely thorough and very knowledgable.

Ijas undertook my hearing test. He quickly understood the hearing problems I was having and was able to quickly explain clearly the results of my test and recommend the next steps.

If I could give zero stars I would. My elderly mother, who lives independently, has been left with a hearing aid that is useless to her. She cannot hear the telephone or tv clearly with it. This leaves her without the means to communicate. It took 3 MONTHS to get the remote to her, she couldn’t use the aid without due to essential tremors in her hands. The remote did not help. Amplifon will not refund the money as they keep insisting it is over the 60 day trial period - Mum has repeatedly explained that the hearing aid could not be used for the first 3 months due to no remote. Mum has been a client of Amplifon for over 20 years and is now at the end of her tether and it is causing her anxiety. She is vulnerable and Amplifon are completely ignoring their duty of care towards her leaving her without the means to hear. She just wants a refund to enable her to go elsewhere. To say we are disgusted by the treatment she has experienced is an understatement.

Each stage of the three tests were explained fully. I was pleased the audiologist went through everything in detail, also showing a chart of the ear which was helpful.

The appointment was a treat, I was attended to on time, the technician knew his job and started with a check over and condition of my problem. Overall my appointment was stress free and came away completely satisfied, 10/10 from me.

The staff were exceptional.The receptionist most polite and helpful.The Audiologist very knowledgeable, I have had repeated tests all normal but still felt I am struggling to hear in certain situations. She explained that this may be an Auditory processing disorder and suggested follow up in a year. After looking this up I can now make sense of my difficulties, thank-you.

Excellent service from David and Julie at Altrincham shop. I was made to feel welcome and Julie checked all my details carefully. David explained the procedure clearly and carefully and answered all my questions. The procedure was efficient and showed my hearing to be in good shape. Appointment started on time and was conducted by a pleasant and informative person. Hearing test was done quickly and efficiently and I was able to ask questions and discuss results. Turns out my hearing was not as poor as I thought and I was reassured by the fact that I was advised against getting any sort of hearing aid so I am pretty confident that I will get sound advice from Amplifon in the future when they invite me for further tests.

Very honest and genuine assessment. This resulted in no cost to me with no charge being made, which surprised me slightly after a free but thorough check up.

The trial period was a "game changer" needless to say I did purchase my hearing aids on a payment plan and am absolutely delighted it has changed my life "I can hear". I thought that the audiologist, Benjamin Jones, was genuinely concerned with improving my hearing. The hearing test was thorough and he answered my questions clearly. He explained the range of hearing aids Amplifon offers and the implications of choosing a particular level. I think I would choose level 4 if I were to proceed, but the cost means that it is a difficult decision for me to make. I was impressed that I felt under no pressure to make a decision there and then. I also felt assured that, if I do proceed, Benjamin will give me unstinting support in the years that follow.

Amplifon uses very advanced testing equipments, they are very helpful and patiently to explain and answer all questions and advice frankly and offer you all the best and suitable options and support.

I can't recommend Caroline (Finchley Branch) enough. She is make the whole experience a pleasant one. She is patient, very knowledgeable and has a great attention to detail.I had to return as I had a query and she could not have been more helpful.I am very grateful to her for her kindness and professionalism.
