Their photos ARE STOLEN from places like Odd Muse and other brands. Basically a phony shopfront for overpricing cheap Chinese crap. They'll run this scam for as long as they get away with it!

ABSOLUTE GARBAGE I’m only rating one star so I can leave a comment. I rate AMI-Melbourne 0/10. I just received the dress. Absolute total garbage. Very poorly made. It looks as though it would’ve cost them all of $2 to make it. It would be an embarrassment to wear it. They make it hard to contact them. I was looking to see how I could organise a refund and came across these reviews in the process. I now know not to waste my time trying to get any assistance.

They don’t refund you the money, the customer service is so bad. They make you pay extra if you return an item and don’t end up receiving your money. Day light robbers.

SCAM !! Do not but from this company. I wish I read the reviews before I bought from them. They will not refund your money. They make you pay for your return and then lie and say they haven’t received it yet. They do this so that you don't lodge a complaint with your credit card provider. You have a certain amount of time to lodge a dispute and this scamming company knows this so they will delay until you can't dispute it. DO NOT BUY FROM AMI MELBOURNE. They are in China and should be shut down

No stars for this fraudulent online shop - the clothes I purchased were undersized and poorly made. I paid significant postage to return to China three weeks ago and company claims it hasn't arrived and they won't administer refund. They won't provide a phone number to talk to customer support either. Do not purchase anything from these thieves

Basically a scam website. They pretend they are in Melbourne but actually it's in China. Product takes weeks to arrive and is the worst quality. I bought a bomber jacket for my son's birthday and the quality was so shameful I ended up buying him another one (from a legitimate Australian website). When you ask for a refund they first offer 30 per cent and you can keep the product, or send it all the way to China at your own expense for full refund. If you opt for the full refund they then offer 50 per cent. Buyer beware. I 100 per cent do NOT recommend AMI Melbourne.

DON'T BUY. I have been disputing a refund for >3months. The products are direct from China and horribly made/chemically laden. The so-called '100% wool' products are 100% polyester with loose/unravelled overlocked threads. Don't do it. Save yourself the stress and pay a little extra elsewhere. Or if you must shop cheaper; consider that Shein's customer service is above board/ethical (even if their products aren't). This "AMI-Melbourne" crowd is a full blown scam.

I have been waiting for my refund for more than two months. They keep saying they did not get my return, but I have a tracking number. The clothes are low quality—nothing like the photos—and you need to pay to send them back to China. It is your typical Chinese product—pretty bad! The customer service lady, Michelle, tried everything to make me keep the horrible coats they sent me. I am still waiting on my money back...never again

ordered two jumpers two different colours same size. One fits great the other is about two sizes too small. They offered to change when it arrived still two sizes too small compared to the other. They now will only refund 30% of the full price.Poor service was such a shame because the jumpers' quality was good -- but then not great as I can't wear one of them!

The sizing is incorrect. Ordered a 3XL it fits my mother who is a size 8-10. The runners were advertised as Orthopedic but no arch support and poor quality, sent in a plastic bag.

Terrible quality, cheap fabric, sizing completely wrong, colour completely different from what was sold on the website. The seams so badly done. It took 4 weeks to be delivered. The worst product I have ever purchased online. I will never buy anything from these people again. Don't waste your time or money looking at their products.

Low quality products with no apparent real connection to Melbourne/Australia. I've ordered one product (DALIA - Winter jacket) that looked amazing on the picture, got two that looked quite horrible. Ended up donating them as returns to be made to China. They've refunded one, though, thanks...

Byers beware! This is Chinese scam business selling to Australian consumers at Australian consumer prices. What you get is incredibly nasty and cheap. Attempting to get a refund, impossible. They say that they offer 30 day refunds, but don't actually refund your money. The garment received does not comply with Australian laws.

GHOSTED BY CUSTOMER SERVICEDO NOT ORDER HERE. This is not a Melbourne company. The merchandise I ordered came from the UK. They used a courier service (iMile), which when I researched I found had the worst reviews. The courier left the package out in the open and it was stolen. I realize this is not AMI's fault, but they could have used a better courier service. I have been trying for several weeks to contact AMI support via email and the chat on their website and have essentially been ghosted. I also tried to contact the courier service via their email and received only one message about an investigation being launched. However, it has been several weeks and I have had asked for a response and again I have been essentially ghosted.

If I could give no rating I would. This is a complete scam. I paid $79.99 for a jacket and my order disappeared along with my money. I keep getting emails asking me to complete the order and offering a discounted price. They’ve apparently “re sent” tracking details (they sent none in the first place and I still haven’t received any) and a promise of delivery in 7 to 10 days. Still waiting weeks later. Stay away from these scammers.

You don't get what you order. On the website it seems like a legit Australian business, but it's just a Chinese low quality shop. I'm usually aware when I order online, but since the website was so legit, I got fooled.

I saw a posting on Reddit regarding AMI Melbournes stock being available on Temu.I thought I’d check this out for myself.Sure enough , all my items were all available on Temu for a fraction of the price that I paid.What a scam! If I wanted cheap crap from Temu , I would have shopped there in the first place .Disappointing that I’ve paid a premium price for cheap Chinese made rubbish .Very deceitful behaviour .What I can gather is it’s nothing more than a drop shipping company based in the UK not even based in Melbourne

Horrible quality, item not as described, small in sizes. Phone number does not work. I emailed support to return items for a refund and was informed I would have to pay for shipping to China (cost of which would outweigh the refund). Refund policy is not as stated on the website. Absolute scam, do not buy.
