5econds.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives 5econds.com a pretty low trust score on the platform: 14.1. It signals that the business could be defined by the following tags: Controversial. High-Risk. Unsafe.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 14.1 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to 5econds.com's industry. The algorithm flagged its seemingly suspicious success, even with a newly registered domain. It also detected high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Controversial. High-Risk. Unsafe. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying away from this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning 5econds.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between 5econds.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of 5econds.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of 5econds.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. 5econds.com is a suspicious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether 5econds.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether 5econds.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, 5econds.com.

Was sent a child’s green tank top instead of a salon chair. This was 4 months ago. They’re refusing a refund. FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD. Don’t give them your money!
We ordered and used this shower head for a few weeks before it started to leak and spread water all over our bathroom while taking a shower, We also unfortunately ordered and gave friend and family a product too and they experienced the same issue…We have tried to reach manufacturer 5econds for reclaiming those and get a refund but has not got any answer…Not recommended at all
I like the clip and charge capability, save wear and tear on the port. There are 2 things that are deficent tho. She charges slower than w the direct plug in and you cant transfer data thru it. Other wise it is head and shoulders above the other cords I have purchased that gave me issues w charging and usb selection.
I ordered tactical gloves . The shipment got delayed from the seller for 3 months . I made inquiries and the customer service responded very nicely every time and kept me informed. Very professionally. And finally I received my item . I guess it happens sometimes. I'm happy . it's okay.
I ordered two items at the beginning of June. One piece arrived in early August, packaged poorly and therefore damaged in the post. The expensive torch is still not here, now end of August, and "Alex" is "referring the case to his superior" - for the second time. I had some hope when I sent an email about the damaged goods and he got back to me straight away, with similar platitudes to those I have read. I am thinking that I've done my money at this point. Once bitten...
The product purchased was received in great condition. I was pleased with the three vegetable peelers for julienning and essentially experimenting with vegetable spaghetti dishes. Thank you.Now I am awaiting my other purchase of the adjustable laptop table which has many variations depending on where I sit with my laptop.
Absolutely love the magnetic phone charging cord and can't imagine living without it! Unfortunately the little plug broke 3 weeks later on my phone. Recommend a case that will fit around it to protect the little thing. So I was able to order 3 more plugs and hope I don't do it again!
My order was returned to the sender twice before finally arriving 2 months later. Box was real banged up when it arrived. Communicating with "Alex" via email was frustrating as she kept giving pat answers. I question if she may actually just be a bot. She ignored my repeated requests for a refund.I wish I had thought to read reviews on this website before ordering from it. I suggest you avoid the headaches of dealing with this site.
In mid October of 2020 I ordered a men’s shirt. Several times I contacted their website asking about delivery. The response each time was “product has been shipped. Delivery in 20 to 30 business days”.Two months later, I am still waiting. They have not bothered to respond to my last request about delivery. The products shown on their site look good, but I caution honest folks. BEWARE. Serious risk in being totally scammed. John B
Do not order anything from this online service. You will regret eventually and I guarantee that!!! Why1) The deliver is extremely slow and even if you finally get your product:2) You will be disappointed because the products come to you, no matter what you have ordered, will be some junk and very poor quality duplicated in Chinese countryside workshop,,
Product as expected. I actually placed a second order! One wire didn’t work (out of 6) and was quickly replaced.Excellent company to do business with. I am recommending them to my friends!
It's now been 2 months since I ordered from this company and nothing. I contacted them about a refund, no chance, I asked for a tracking number, I was given a number with no courier attached. When I asked about this I was sent a screen shot of tracking for a shipment from China. I believe I heard about them by an ad on Pinterest so a) I won't respond to any more ads on Pinterest and b) I'll kiss 80 bucks good-bye and chalk it up to experirnce.
If I could give this zero stars I would. I have an email thread consisting of 25 emails, with Alex their so called Chief Happiness Officer LOL!!!!! My package never arrived, I no longer receive updates, I don’t expect it to arrive. They won’t refund me, all they’ll do is continue to send an automated apology message. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM
I ordered a couple of bras from 5econds and waited patiently for them as I know this is not amazon overnight delivery. When my order arrived one of the bras had a defect. I let Alex know and he told me he would ship me a replacement. It was another month wait but I did receive my replacement and it was perfect. Thank you for your great service.
I had the misfortune of wasting my hard-earned money, It was my son's birthday in May 2020 (and ordered well in advance around the 1st week of March 2020). After so many mails to ALEX BRITT AKA scammer supreme, (that's not even a real profile) Received (had to pick it from the post office) my shipment on October 2 week 2020. A pack of three air drones, made out of the worst material you can imagine, like a 3rd-grade cheap copy of a copy! and all 3 broken, crushed, and obviously not working, the other neon glow in dark board with marker, which also, by the way, is shriveled, bent, made of foam rather than actual cardboard, which bends easily and OBVIOUSLY not working. Don't buy anything from here. Its Dangerous people! Maybe they will hack your cards or personal details!
be really careful about this company, they send you wrong article and than, they prevent you to send it back or to give you the money back! check the other reviews, befor you order anything from 5econds, there ist also no contact on the internet page, and no mail or phone number!
The only constructive thing to do is NEVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY DO NOT HAVE AN INVENTORY HOUSE STOCKED HERE IN THE USA, AND KEEP LYING TO EVERYONE SAYING THE PRODUCT IS DELAYED IN TRANSIT. I ORDERED JUNE 12TH IT'S NOW AUGUST 11TH-I'VE REPORTED THEM TO THE BBB. I HOPE THE OFFICE GETS RAIDED AND THEY GET FINED FOR CONNING PEOPLE. TERRIBLE BUSINESS DON'T TRUST THE YOUTUBE ADS!
Be absolutely sure before doing business with 5econds. Their order cancelation/refund policy is absurd. They will keep 30% of the total order amount if you cancel an order. And it doesn't matter if the order hasn't been shipped let alone even processed yet.I placed an order with 5econds at 11pm on July 3rd and canceled it at 9am on July 4th. After requesting the cancelation I received an email from "Alex" letting me know that they will be keeping 30% of my money for "processing fees".So again be absolutely sure before ordering. I, myself will NOT be doing any business with this company in the future.
UPDATE: REGARDING 5ECONDS RESPONSE BELOW...I ALREADY CONTACTED 5ECONDS AND WAS TOLD THEY WOULD NOT REFUND - ONLY EXCHANGE. I ordered sandals on July 2nd. A MONTH later some abominations 5econds called sandals arrived - poorly packaged and looking like they were made in some dark basement in China. I ordered brown...maybe in that dark basement these looked brown...but in normal lighting, they were a shiny metallic brown-ish color. The size was correct, but the shoe portion would have fit Shaq. I contacted 5econds, knowing I'd probably have to pay for shipping but wanting to rid myself of these horrific things. 5econds "Chief Happiness Officer" told me if they were damaged, they could send a new pair of abominations out (in a month or two?) otherwise, I was out of luck. BUYER BEWARE! NO REFUNDS FOR THEIR INCREDIBLY CRAPPY PRODUCTS!!!
Bought earbuds in February. By the end of April I requested a refund due to not receiving the product. Each time I contacted them about the product, they provided me with a bogus tracking number and said I will receive it in 2 weeks. Finally, I contacted my credit card to dispute the charge. In July, I received cheap China made earbuds that didn’t even work for a full week. I bet these positive reviews are “Alex” posting them himself. I never did get my money back.

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
