50floor.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives 50floor.com a medium-high trust score on the platform: 72.6. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Standard. Valid. Common.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 72.6 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to 50floor.com's industry. The algorithm detected a low risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Standard. Valid. Common. tags above. Long story short, this site's trust score still warrants a little caution. Use common sense when using this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning 50floor.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between 50floor.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of 50floor.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of 50floor.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. 50floor.com is a likely trustworthy website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether 50floor.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether 50floor.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, 50floor.com.

A little skeptical of the in home process but Lionel made our choice easy! Not only did he beat the price, but understood exactly what I was looking for! Installation was perfect! On time, hard working, polite, and knew what they were doing. Left my house with the job complete! Can’t say enough good things about them!T Golden
Here’s a refined version of your review:I’m writing this review four years after my project was completed. My salesperson was Bill Holt, and he provided excellent service throughout the process. Bill was friendly, professional, and offered a competitive price for the flooring we needed in our Sunroom/Doggie Room.Initially, I was unhappy with the installed floor because the color didn’t match what I had envisioned. The sample Bill showed us appeared to have more red tones, while the installed floor leaned more towards brown tones. At the time, I assumed Bill had misled us, and I gave him an unfavorable rating. However, after living with the floor for four years, I realize Bill made the right recommendation. The sturdiness of the floor has been perfect for our dogs, and I’ve grown to appreciate the color. I now understand that the color difference was not Bill’s fault, and he was very helpful during the entire transaction.Thank you, Bill, for your patience and professionalism!
It’s wonderful having clean carpet. The only negative thing we have to say is, the carpet seams are visible, disappointed in that. The guy who came and measured was very friendly, the guys who installed the carpet were very friendly and helpful.
Everything about our experience replacing our carpets was 5 star. We had a great first meeting with the representative who came to explain the process and show us samples. When we booked, we feel we got a fair price, and now that the carpet is installed, we are so happy with the product and how it looks and feels. The installers were very friendly and efficient. Can’t say enough good about this experience. It was the first time we used this company.
I just needed carpet for my man cave the seller (wish I remember her name) came out and helped me no up sales she brought me the samples that were best for me. A week later I have carpet it was so quick and easy the whole process.
I have had no luck having someone from this company to reach back out to me after my initial phone call on October 16. I am having a problem with the floor that was installed by your location last year November 3 white spots and discoloration all over the tiles, I want someone to come out. Take a look at it and let’s get this problem resolved You are supposed to have a lifetime warranty on these floors or at least a 15 year warranty. Please have someone reach out to me and schedule a time to come by and take a look at this for for repair or replacement. My name Susan Gunnell
From the moment Chip arrived to give us our floor consultation I knew this wasn't going to be a waste of time unlike other companies that came out. He was on time, professional, and FUNNY!!! It's always nice to have somebody personable and who doesn't sound like they are just reciting from a handbook LOL. He was patient and extremely knowledgeable!
Be prepared for the 50 percent off and free install. They are overpricing their product to begin with. I was told one day install and it turned out to be two weeks. The amount of dust in the house was not controlled and it spread throughout the whole house including upstairs. I would have covered everything myself had I known had bad this would be. After day 2 with me staying home from work to accomadate, they ran out of material and told me everything was on backorder. I was left without one bathroom and bedroom which were unusable. After the installers left, my wife turned on the washing machine and went to bed. Fortunately, I went to the refigerator a short time later to find flooding water throughout my kitchen and laundry room. I threw down towels and pulled out the washing machine to find that the installers did not put the drain pipe in the drain. They also did not hook up the dryer vent. After that mess, I spent the next day cleaning the house. I found drywall dings throughout the house from I believe their tool belts, found a 2x2 hole in the wall from the toilet install and damage to the baseboards. I was not made aware of any of the damage by the installers. Finally, I found at least a dozen staples and nails throughout the house which normally I wouldnt complain, except I have a 13 month old who likes to eat everything. As far as the floors, they did a good job and they look great. I feel they could have taken steps to avoid the damages. I doubt that 50 floor cares as they havent returned my email or bothered to check in. So this is my notice to you
After having carpeting our upstairs last fall, we recently purchased laminate/tile flooring for the entire downstairs which required a two-day installation. The workers were timely, clean, and professional. Surprisingly, after furniture needing to be moved around, the job was completed well before the expected time. The closets, transitions, and total look of the floors brought a brightness and life back into our home. Thx Mr. Hal & 50 Floors!
I had 4 rooms with closets and stairs carpeted by 50 floors, the installers were very professional. Im extremely happy with the quality of carpet a the whole process was very seamless. I had beds In all the rooms with dressers. The guys moved everything there self without destroying my stuff. I would definitely recommend them if you're looking to transform your space.
I would have given 5 stars for the installation and floors. But I had to take off a star because of things that happened with the crew. Instead of asking me, my bedding including pajamas, was wadded up and put in my bathroom sink. 3 glass pieces from my light fixture were broken and I found out by finding them instead of being told, my brooms and industrial vacuum were used without asking (they had their own vacuum). We had to tell them to close the front door instead of keeping it open during installation.
Great Job!Sabastian and his crew did an outstanding job of installing carpet in two bedrooms, landing and stairs.lI'm pleased with the quality and that they left some carpet in case some replacement is needed sometime in the future. A+
Thoroughly impressed with our entire experience. My mother is absolutely loving the new flooring and thought the installers were extremely friendly and professional. The work ethic and dedication to deliver a quality job from start to finish and from top to bottom was evident. We’ll absolutely be recommending 50 Floors.
Back in 2022 I had them redo my kitchen and office. What was to be a 1 day job took 3 days, and 8 additional trips for installation issues. I had several people from the Tampa office even come to my house to see the horrible job that was done, because they didn't believe my description or pictures. 2 years later, boards are buckling and breaking. Call them because it's under warranty, and shocker, original installation was incorrect. Since I needed to get my living room done, due to the transition issues from bad install, I had that done. This time it took 1 day and 4 additional trips because of poor installation. They left nails under the boards that punctured my foot. Go with anyone else to avoid the frustration!
A professional, knowledgeable, courteous salesperson with more than enough samples. Our installer (Juan) worked diligently to complete. There was one small issue that was promptly repaired and we were entirely satisfied with their work. If you’re looking for a new flooring company, 50 Floor will more than meet your needs.
They were punctual, polite, and respectful. From the beginning with estimates and talking through the process of how it would occur, to the end where the crew came in and knocked out an entire house in 6 hours, I was 100% satisfied. Would recommend them again and will use them for any future projects.
The install was great showed up on time worked well as a team. They were very professional this would of been a 5 star review except for an issue of a missed small coat closet. The finished product looks great and we are happy with what was completed. John our salesperson was great as well as Angle and his team of installers. Customer service on the other hand not so much.
I absolutely cannot say enough about my experience, from start to finish was superb. I love the new flooring in my master bedroom and bath.
Excellent in every way. Thorough, conscientious, and above and beyond in making sure only quality work is completed. Everything was so clean it was like they weren't there. Carpet looks great! Our 2nd time using 50 Floor - 1st time was hardwood. Highly recommend!
The carpet looks great and I enjoying it. I did not want a metal transition at the bathroom hallway, but I guess I’ll live with it. At the transition from the bedroom into the office area, the carpet ends like it’s not rolled and the end of hardwood flooring is visible. I’m concerned about the wear over the next few years with vacuuming that area and continuous foot traffic. Installers were polite and professional. I would recommend this company with a warning to go over details like the transition areas.

“Epic Fail”

Initial install was May 2023 (engineered hardwood). 2nd install was February 2024. Floors have glue spots, from installer not cleaning glue as he installed. Installer scratched floor, boards needed to be replaced. They were never able to get glue off floors. They tried to repair scratches and made a bigger mess. They put additional scratches in floor and glue is coming up through the seams where the boards meet. I have asked for my money back, received less than half from installer's insurance. Still waiting 50 Floors to return the remaining balance. They have stopped communicating. There have been over 20 people in my house between installer's and the cleaning and repair efforts that have been fruitless. I DO NOT RECOMMEND 50 FLOORS! “All floors installed are defective 1 year after install. Carpet wrinkled, Vinyl bowing, Tile broken”

Crew unprofessional, no dust abatement, floors not leveled, dented car, left trash, broke water line. I reported them to the BBB. They were not even the cheapest estimate I received but they were the worst contractors we have ever hired. The floors must be replaced 2 1/2 years after they were completed. Tip for consumers:We hired them for vinyl, ceramic and carpet. We paid $1000 extra ($700 in contract and additional $300 at time of installation) for floor leveling. The floors were not leveled before installation and the vinyl is bowing, the ceramic is breaking and they couldn't even install the carpet in a square room correctly. It needs to be re-stretched. They left sharps on our driveway, broke a water line, got blood on our walls and furniture, cut ceramic tile inside without dust barriers and dented our SUV Service Value Quality

“GO SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR YOUR FLOOR/CARPET PROJECTS!”

2 years ago I had hardwood installed in my home, not an inexpensive purchase. Recently, we found a few areas that are now show gaps, so we called 50floor to have them come out and adjust them. Now keep in mind, we were told that this might happen and there would be no problem to fix the issue at no cost. Well that is NOT TRUE! We called and were told we had to pay $150 to repair a gap and that if they had to open a box to repair the gap that would be another $150. Yes, they did not leave us any boxes or individual hardwood planks for situations like this that may come up. We were SHOCKED at the total LACK of support to repair the floor especially after paying such are large amount. Long story short, BUYER BEWARE, 50Floor is NOT what they advertise. We wanted to have them put in hardwood for a family member, but not after this. Recommendation, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR YOUR FLOOR/CARPET PROJECTS! Service Value Quality

“Youd be better off dumping thousands into a trash can”

My disabled parents hired this company to install flooring in Florida. 5 adults were in the room when The salesman said no glue would be used and it was moisture proof. The floor started peeling up and has glue coming through the seams almost immediately. We have been trying for 9 months to get them to help. All they do is fail to do what they say, string you along until the warranty is up and ignore all attempts to resolve. Read their HUNDREDS of bbb complaints before hiring. We wish we had! Tip for consumers:Salesman will say anything to make a sale. They said they dont even know who the salesman was after i asked for it for litigation purposes. No warranty honored. No explanations. No customer service. Though quite diligent while collecting payment. Products used:Floating floor Service Value Quality

“Excellent service”

From beginning to end everything went smoothly. HF Flooring was very professional, courteous and polite. They did an amazing job installing the carpet in the spare bedroom. When they were done clean up was so thorough you couldn't tell they were even here. Highly recommend HF Flooring for quick and professional installation. Service Value Quality

“Horrible Experience”

Horrible experience! Have a whole folder full of details of my experience with this company. Wished I put my feet down not to continue with letting them do my floors. Every time I see their Ad on tv or hear it on the radio, I feel disgusted and cringe! Do yourself a big favor, if you need your floors done- please not with them! Tip for consumers:Always read reviews! It matters big time! Service Value Shipping Quality

“Love our floor”

We had a few bumps which included going with a different floor sample which ended up in our favor as it sped up the delivery and looks great in our home. We also had to have a subfloor installed for additional $$$ but did eliminate our creaky floors. All in all very satisfied. Want to thank Juan, Jessie and the installation crew for making it happen when we were in a holding pattern. Even though a big company it felt like we got the mom and pop store attention and knew we could trust them.

“Weird experience”

Weird experience. I set up a consult for an initial quote for replacing all of the flooring in our house. The guy came out and immediately asked if my husband would be joining us. I told him, no, he was at work. He then explained why he couldn't give me a quote because my husband was not here with me - they are so busy that they don't have time to come back out to requote the business when he's here (as if I'm not capable of making a decision). It was insulting. If you are a woman, may as well skip this business. They don't work with women!

“DISHONEST Company”

To 50 FLOOR customers and service providers. Please be aware that this company does not pay subcontractors. They owe me almost 20 thousand dollars, I was requesting payment for over 2 years and they asked me to wait, wait and now they said they won't pay! I contacted the COMPANY'S NATIONAL MANAGEMENT, they asked me for proof of the debt (they thought we didn't have it), I sent it and they informed me that they wouldn't pay. Tip for consumers:DISHONEST Company Products used:DISHONEST Company Service Value Returns Quality

“I would not recomendable using 50 floors”

Hello just want to warn everyone not to ever use 50 floors. Besides the floors being made in china and not very good quality the installation is also poor and they are over priced.

“Love my flooring”

I had my flooring redone by 50floor, and they were fantastic! Completed by carpet and laminate super fast and cleaned up after. I had heavy furniture that they moved and reset up too! Worth it! Service Value Quality

“Floor Installation”

BUYER BEWARE: My husband and I hired 50 Floor located at 818 Bluecrab Rd. Newport News VA. *******. We spoke with the salesman on Sept. 6th 2017. I specifically ask the salesman if they have their own installers or do they hire independent contractors? He insured me that they were 50 Floor employees. Well, when they showed up Sept. 29th 2017 to do the job, it was very obvious that they were independent contractors. The language barrier was immediately an issue. They didn't measure anything before cutting. They were stepping on the shoe molding, that we provided, to break it instead of cutting it, they over cut the door trimming to the point I could stick my finger in the hole, they put defective planks down, they left gaps where the shoe molding was suppose to connect, when they put the toilets back they didn't cut the screws that holds the toilet in place, so the plastic covers would not go back on, they destroyed three different transitional strips that we provided, they put nails in the flooring, they left gaps in the flooring, they came back on 4 separate occasions to do what was suppose to be a one day job on Sept 29th 2017, they just finished today Nov. 15th 2017. They offered absolutely no compensation for our inconveniences, the only offer they made was to pay for the shoe molding and the transitional strips that they damaged. I had to escalate the call to corporate. And it was like pulling teeth to get them to offer 150.00 credit which is not anywhere near compensation that should have been offered for time wasted, aggravation, lack of professionalism, lack of customer service, the multiple canceled appointments that were canceled at the last minute, lack of integrity of this company is beyond unacceptable. I will never use this company again or recommend this company to anyone. I would have been better off hiring an independent contractor my self and saved the extra money they charged for mediocre work. Even upon completion, it doesn't look like a professional did the job. Tip for consumers:DON'T DO IT! Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Poor quality work, No Masks, Dent in our Car, Broken Water line, Trash and debris left everywhere”

We hired this company for floors in 4 rooms. We got three estimates and this company was not the lowest. We made sure all the floor leveling was in the estimate because we knew it needed to be done and we wanted no surprises. They installed three different kinds of flooring- ceramic, vinyl plank, and carpet. The carpeted room is fine. Everything else had to be torn up and redone because they didn't do any leveling and the ceramic tile job was so uneven that they tried to hide it by filling the mistakes with grout. There was a line item on our estimate of $760 for leveling and they actually charged us an additional $300 for re-doing it. The job took 2 weeks instead of 2 days. We told the crew we required masks and even furnished them but they refused to wear them so for 2 weeks we had to clean our house and wear masks every day they were there. They didn't put up plastic or paper to protect our floors and belongings from the construction dust and they cut ceramic tile INSIDE our home and spewed dust throughout covering our furniture, floors and walls. They left trash, food and beverage containers, nails & screws and sharps all over the house and driveway and they actually used OUR cleaning supplies, tools and garbage bags without asking first. They put a dent in our SUV while unloading supplies. It looks like they dropped something on our vehicle which caused a tennis ball shaped dent above the door level. They broke a water line during the installation of flooring in our laundry room and we only recently found out that they installed the repaired water valve backwards. The flooring had to be torn up again to repair the valve. I reviewed this company and they responded by asking if they could try to make it right. I told them that they should come and see the job that their company put their name on. They sent Mike who said they wanted to give us a $1000 refund. We waited but never received it. We fixed the dent and fixed the water line which cost considerably more than the $1000. Today we received a call from them stating that "because of our reviews they would not be giving us any money back". I want to warn others about this company. They are horrible. They take no pride in their workmanship and apparently value money over reputation. Don't hire them. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
