Travel Insurance Claim Scam

How the scam works:

A fake 'off-duty' doctor that you may meet and befriend in one of the exotic countries you visit offers to sell you fake medical documents. He says that he helped several tourists over the years to win fake travel insurance claims back in their countries, using these medical approved docs.

Lots of tourists fall for this scam as they're trying to make a buck by faking an illness abroad. They pay the 'doctor' between $20 or $50 just to find out at home that the claim is not working. This scam is prevalent in the less developed countries.
