Moving To Canada From USA Scam

How the scam works:

(with video below) As Donald Trump just won the presidential elections in the United States, allegedly hundreds of thousands of Americans are considering moving to Canada. In the night of the elections, the Immigration Canada website officially crashed due to Internet traffic overload.

Immigration Canada Website Crashes Video

How does the scam work? If you are considering moving to Canada from US, read this. The fraudsters just set up websites claiming to be authorized representatives of the US Government. They created believable testimonials and pages on social networking sites, which they are promoting heavily since the moment Trump gave the victory speech. The key phrases used by crooks are: "After Elections Aftermath - Canada Is Awaiting", “Green Card Canada now on Facebook”, "Only For US Citizens", or “First come, first serve”.

The fake pages are very similar to the genuine ones. Several people fall victim to this, paying thousands of dollars for “applications” and “processing” fees for the Green Card Canada.

How to avoid the Moving To Canada From the USA scam:

When it comes to the immigration, the official website of the Government of Canada - Immigrantion and Citizenship is HERE. Green Card Canada doesn't have anything to do with the intake of new Americans. An official website that deals with the Green Card Canada applications is http://canadagreencard.org.
