Cigarettes Purchase by Minors

How the scam works:

In most countries cigarettes can’t be sold to children. However, there are minors who think they can cheat the system by buying the cigarettes online. That’s where scammers set up their traps, especially advertising on social networking sites like Facebook or Twitter, where the “market” is rich.

They create fake websites pretending to sell premium cigarettes for great prices and ask the buyers to provide proof of their age, along with a lot of other personal information. The minors carelessly provide somebody else’s identity, often using their parents’ or siblings’ info. That’s a scammers’ paradise, since they not only get a credit card number, but personal information as well.
