How the scam works:

If you come across this business offer, you will probably be told that you can make thousands of dollars a month by stuffing envelopes, usually at $2 per piece. How does the scam work?

The way the scam works is: you pay a processing fee and send a self-addressed envelope with $2 in it. The envelope comes back full of flyers that you have to put up all over town.

These flyers are ads for the same “stuffing envelopes” opportunity, asking the participants to send the “processing fee” to the scammers and the self-addressed envelopes to you, along with $2. In those self-addressed envelopes, you send them the same flyers so they can put them up, and so on.

You might make money from people’s response, but you are becoming a scammer yourself.
